Madame Alexander Dolls

We offer for your consideration a gently displayed 1952 only vintage Madame Alexander 29 complete soft plastic vinyl and cloth Alice in Wonderland doll. She is stunning and was well preserved by the original owner. She was not a play doll and only a display doll. Her highly blushed cheeks are exquisite and perfectly round. Her hair is long, thick, and set in the original style with only a few fly away hairs you may want to restyle. He eyes are bright, engaging, and unclouded. She appears so fresh, clean, and displayable; she looks like she was made just 10 years ago. Her tagged dress is satiny, clean, and in amazing condition. The sleeve ends are still stretchy. The white apron pinafore is bright, white, and beautiful. She displays perfectly in her custom made, original, and tagged blue dress. Her dress and panties are bright and attractive clothes with well attached snap buttons on the dress. You can see her tights are most likely original- they fit her so perfectly; the waist is still stretchy, and they show no wear, discoloration, or age. Her original shiny black Mary Jane shoes fit her well, and they are totally intact and clean. The bottom of both of her shoes is a soft sole. She was displayed on a chair by the original adult collector. The doll was stored in a cool dark room in her pet and smoke free house. She is free of any odors, issues, or blemishes. Her blonde hair is still tied back in her original bow with a lovely style of long soft curls. Her hair is full and well attached to her wig cap. Her face is an even color with a bright and even blush. Her sleep eyes open and close easily; they are unclouded with totally intact eyelashes. She shows no noticeable age or discoloration. We left her as is to preserve her in the original found condition. She shows no issues or flaws. Her cloth body is sparkling in the condition and absolutely clean and gloroius. Her coloration is much more bright and blushed than she appears in her photos. She is complete with no chews, splits, or obvious damage. She does not have any open seams or major noticeable detracting negatives. Her hair is uncut and close to the original style. We listed two other Edith/ Kelly/ Marybel face dolls this week from the same collection. She is truly one of a kind in her condition. Her face is colored exactly the same as her limbs. Her lips and cheeks are highly blushed. Her lips are full and pink. She appears flawless until I really scrutinized her. In one sof the photos you may see several smudges or marks on the left side of her forehead. I did not even notice until my daughter pointed it out. She has a real small minor thinned spot, or hole, on the top of her tights near the waist. The tights are thick and strong, so it does not affect the integrity of her bright white tights. She also has a small smudge or mark on the top back of one of her arms. Thank goodness for the young eyes of our 13 gear-old daughter. She pointed out these little unnoticeable blemishes. This doll is one of hundreds of dolls from an adult lady collector. She is moving and downsizing her vast doll collection. Many of the these dolls are from the 1920s through the 1960s; they may show some minor age for their age because they are between 100 and 60 years of age. Many of these were from the original owner’s collection of displayed, but not played with, dolls. Some of the older dolls were from her mother’s collection. These are all from a pet and smoke free home. They were well preserved with no odors or major issues. Please write with any questions. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic/ jointed vinyl arms. Tosca hair, stitched part, in curls. In 1950′s taffeta and tulle net gown. Presented here is a stunning Madame Alexander 1950′s Cissy doll. She is 20 tall, hard plastic with jointed vinyl arms, no splits. She has lovely high coloring, red mouth, blue sleep eyes with hair upper lashes and painted under lashes. Her hair is in lovely curls with bangs, tosca color. Marked Alexander on the back of the head. She is wearing a fabulous original 1950′s gown of tangerine taffeta covered in net tulle with self ruffle trim and rhinestones straps. It has a full circle skirt. Comes with a cotton petticoat with tulle flounce and white panties. The clothing is all in excellent vintage condition, it is hand made, , much is hand sewn, not tagged but from the same era as the doll. The listing is for the doll and clothes shown only. Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. 20 hard plastic bent knee, jointed vinyl arms. Wearing pink and white stripe tagged dress. Pink taffeta slip, nylons, pink plastic high heels, girdle. Presented here is a beautiful 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She is 20 tall, hard plastic with bent knees and jointed vinyl arms, no splits, marked on the back of the head.. Lovely face with nice color, blue-green sleep eyes that open and close freely, think hair upper lashes, painted under lashes, double stroke brows, red mouth. Her hair is blonde, it may look reddish in some of the photos, it is a golden or honey blonde color, stitched part wig combed over to the side in front, lovely curls. The dress is adorable pink and white stripes with a fitted bodice. It buttons in the front and has two square snaps, elbow length puff sleeves with cuffs. Full circle skirt with nice body. The dress is tagged; Madame Alexander. Underneath is a pink taffeta slip with net ruffle and the cutest lace girdle, nylon stockings with seams. The shoes are generic pink plastic ones from the 50′s, one has a split on the side and repaired. The clothing is all in excellent vintage condition, minor age, no noticeable damage. We offer for your consideration a gently displayed 1950s hard plastic completely jointed 16 Elise ballerina doll with her original tagged gold dress and attached panties. She has lovely unclouded blue eyes fringed by totally intact eyelashes. Her fsce is highlighted by lightly blushed cheeks; lovely and full unfaded lips; and her coloring is even and true on her torso and limbs, but you can see the vinyl on her face is slightly discolored. Her hair is full, thick, and shows no thinning areas. She could use a restyling of hair. She is free of odors, chips, or splits at her seams. This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. Please note, she is as close to factory fresh as you can find for an almost 80 year-old doll. Her head, arms, and legs can somehat hold a pose. Her arms are minorly loose. I see no signs of issues, blemishes, and she is absolutely free of odors. Both of her clear unclouded eyes open and close completely. Her eyes are stunning. She is crowned by her amazing gold and sequins with somewhat still stretchy elastic. Her dress is four layers of flawless elegance. The two snap buttons in the back are well attached. She is simply stunning. Unfortunately, her pantyhose are torn on one side. I will include them so you have something for her until she is outfitted with new hose. She is missing her shoes. She is beautiful and free of issues. She was only rarely removed from her showcase by the original adult collector. The doll was stored in a cool dark room in her pet and smoke free house. She shows no age or discoloration. She is from a pet and smoke free home and was from the original adult collector’s clean home. We left her as is to preserve her in the original found condition. She shows nothing majorly detracting from her displayable condition. She may show unnoticeable marks on her skin from dressing and undressing. Her coloration is much more bright and blushed than she appears in her photos. She is complete with no chews, splits, or major damage. Her hair appears in the original style. Up for your consideration–A very nice vintage 1950′s 20 inch jointed Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has lovely red hair, working sleep eyes, pale face, red lips. All fingers are accounted for, one with a ring! Full upper lashes on her eyes. She is dressed in a lovely very detailed green unmarked (could be original) dress, green shoes, original teddy, plus she comes with a black unmarked nightgown with matching robe, that could also be original and white shoes. She has her original box and some of the original pink tissue paper, all shows wear. The box has been shrink wrapped for protection. Very nice doll, lovely darling for your collection.
