She is from my collection. She is a very pretty doll. She is 20 tall and is a strung doll (not a walker). She has a “mohair” wig which is in it’s original set. Her coloring is nice and she has all her lashes – I think she is a beautiful doll and I have enjoyed having her in my collection for many years now. She has her “snood” on her hair in back – she was a ballerina when in her original clothes. So – her dress and shoes are not original – panties are missing. The dress is appropriate, although not original. It fits her well and is in crispy like new condition – it has never been laundered and has no stains or flaws. Here today is an adorable, 8 inch, hard plastic BKW, all original, tagged “Wendy Kins Nurse” doll #460, marked on her back ALEX, made by Madame Alexander in 1963. This little hard to find cutie is just about as perfect as can be without being considered mint. Other than that and just a slight trace of light dust she is perfect. Her darling tagged nurses outfit is crisp and clean in excellent condition with no holes, no tears, no stains, no discoloration and no fading. The blue and white striped dress is tagged Wendy-Kins closing in the back with the original intact square snaps. The white pinafore closes in the back with a self tie sash that feeds through white painted grommets. Wendy is wearing her original white organdy panties with lace around the leg openings. Her sweet little white nurses cap is rolled back as it should be but there is only one stick pin in the back. Wendy is wearing her original white anklet socks and her off white shoes with off white satin ribbons with fuzzy bottoms. Her sweet little baby doll is made of hard hard plastic with tiny little eyes that move side to side and open and close. I believe she is articulated at the legs and arms. Baby still has the original pink wire around her neck that is attached to Wendy’s wrist. She is wearing her original little white eyelet dress, bonnet and white diapers. I don’t find any issues with Wendy, her face paint is gorgeous with nicely blushed cheeks, vivid painted lower lashes and brows, and tiny red painted lips. Her big crystal clear blue eyes flutter and open and close as they should. Wendy’s flip style brunette wig is perfect, it has never been combed. Wendy is a walker with bend knees, there are no joint issues, she can stand and hold poses without any assistance. Precious hard to find Wendy Kins Nurse and her adorable baby are in excellent excellent condition that would make a wonderful addition to a Madame Alexander doll collection. This doll is so cute! She has wonderful high color that is all original. Her cheeks are brightly colored, she has beautiful red lips, dark eyelashes and brows. Her hair is a Tosca triple stitch with what I believe to be original side bunches and bows. This is exactly how she came to me and the bows look factory tied to me. She wears a lovely pair of Alexander kins bloomers with nice original stretch. Lastly her body is in great condition with no stains or cracks. Original factory, Auburn hair color, with bangs and flip hair style. Her wig is original, T RIPLE. STITCHED, never restyled, clean andThick. Wendy has visible eyebrows and her pretty eyes flicker open and close with ease pretty and clear. No scrapes or scuffs, No redoing, she is all original. Her walking mechanism works when you move her head her legs move back and forth and her arms are strung well and hold a pose. Her dress is white organdy with lots of lace, nice and stiff. The arms of the dress are a tule fabric. She has on her original slip, the elastic in not as tight as it once was at the waist. Under her dress and slip she is wearing long pantaloons, waist is snug. The dress closes in the back with the original snaps, So cute and so fancy. On her head is her original bonnet with stiff straw lace, tiny pink fuzzy flowers are attached to the inside and outside of the hat. Her bonnet closes with the original pink satin ribbons. Wendy Ann’s outfit has never been removed from her, no shelf dust detected, as she has been packed away and still in nice condition for being 61 years old. (See all photos below).
