Madame Alexander Dolls

You will not be disappointed, as many of these dolls are beautiful collectible treasures! BEAUTIFUL 1953-54 Madame Alexander-kins straight-leg non-walker with dark blonde, tightly rolled triple-stitched wig, blue oval sleep-eyes that open and close easily, molded-lashes eyes with lower painted lashes and rosy cheeks. She has one small dent on her left temple that may have happened during production, but certainly doesn’t detract from her lovely appearance. She is wearing a tagged, crisp, black and red floral-print variation of the “Pinafore Dress” with a red taffeta under-dress and matching lace-trimmed panties, white socks and black side-snap fuzzy shoes with fuzzy bottoms. The pinafore criss-crosses in the back and ties with a bow. There are examples on pg. 21 (1953) and pg. 48 (1955) of The World of Alexander-kins by Patricia Smith. On her head is a beautiful vintage black straw hat with black ribbon trim and red flowers, that seems a perfect compliment to her outfit, but may or may not be original to her outfit. Simply lovely and an exceptional example of a vintage Madame Alexander-kins doll that would make a wonderful addition to your collection! No odors, smoke free environment. Just one of inkFrog’s. From a recent estate sale is a very nice Madame Alexander Alex doll. The doll appears to me to be unplayed with – her clothes are clean and her hair is as it should be. She came in the box shown – I don’t know if it is the original box. The MA booklet shows this outfit and numbers it 580 but the box has the number 568. The doll has brown eyes and blonde hair and is a bent knee walker. She has a small dark spot of what appears to be plastic on the inside back of her knee – photo 6 – it appears to me it may be a manufacturing flaw. Her clothes are untagged. One shoe has the stitching separating on the back seam and another shoe has pencil writing on the bottom. The booklet which came in the box is in very good condition – I find no date in it. The box lid has a tear and corner separation on one end flap. Unless otherwise specified my items are preowned and vintage – they are not new. I will describe any damage or problems aside from what would be considered normal wear – but you should expect some wear on them. RARE 1956-57 VINTAGE 8 MADAME ALEXANDER BKW ALEXANDER-KINS WENDY DOLL. This doll is all original. Her blue and pink flowered short sleeved dress with lace trim at the sleeves and neckline is tagged “Alexander-kins”. The material used for this dress is the same material that was used for the 1956 #630 doll on page 42 of the Crowsey Book. I will include the doll stand. If you have any questions, please ask.
