She has been displayed only in this gorgeous reproduction outfit with dress, full slip, panties, hose and shoes. Notice the rhinestones in her bodice as the vintage Cissy dresses are. This was created by a professional seamstress. Her hair has been kept pinned to preserve the hair that is it’s original hair style. Her stringing is tight and her complexion was only freshened – not repainted. She has no splits. Her lashes are full and her beautiful blue eyes are enchanting. 18 1950s Madame Alexander Very Rare Maggie Teenager In Pink Wardrobe and traveling Case. Maggie has her tagged bright coral pink pinafore in a patterned polka-dot Textured cotton, she has her crisp white tagged Sheer cotton striped blouse with three buttons down the back and decorative pearl accents down the front, puff sleeves and Peter Pan collar, Coral. Pink velvet bows for her hair, white cotton half slip with attached panties, satin with rose ribbon accents and Eyelet lace trim, Thigh high seamed stockings and black patent Mary Janes with buckles. Maggie is every bit a teenager! She has a black French poodle with leash she takes for walks, wearing her black velvet pedal pushers with pockets and decorative Jewel accents at her knees, snap in back, white taffeta blouse with lace accents down the Front and at the collar and cuffs, 3 buttons in front, Pink tagged gabardine swing coat, 2 buttons in front, white rayon socks and saddle shoes. In case of rain a tagged full length pink rain coat with pockets and blue and white polka-dot fabric under the collar, 2 blue buttons in front, a charming rain bonnet with blue and white polka dot brim, pink patent galoshes! Up for sale is a Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Cissy is 20 tall, made of hard plastic with vinyl sleeved arms and is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. She has beautiful blue/green eyes with full lashes, perfect rosy cheeks, red lips and blushed hands and knees. She has lovely fluffy, curly brunette hair. She has NO splits or cracks, however she does have signs of play wear. Little scratches here and there. She is dressed in a beautiful custom made dress from vintage yellow Swiss dot material, by Primrosedollshoppe, (the corsage is removeable) matching can can slip by Vintagedollboutique, vintage panties, vintage seamed stockings, custom shoes by one.. Vintage 1949 14 Alexander MARGARET BRIDE Doll BEAUTIFUL Original EC. Doll is in beautiful condition. Her coloring is lovely as well as her hair. It looks like it’s in original set but I’m not sure. The hair net is still over it and I see the bar holding the hair. She is clean and without odors. She’s got eyes that are bright and clear and both open and close. I’ve not removed her clothing but have peeked and don’t see any problems. Her hose and shoes look they’re great condition. I don’t see any damage to the dress or veil, they could have been played with very lightly. The flowers on the veil and bouquet looks a little faded. I don’t smell any odors. Beautiful Cissy in her undies ready to dress… I try to note everything – all positives and negatives – so you can make an informed purchasing decision. I know you cannot examine her for yourself, and while I do not claim to be an expert, I will carefully note everything to the best of my knowledge and ability. I believe this doll is what is known as an infused Cissy which prevents her vinyl from losing color over time. Her body coloring is very fresh and healthy all over. The photos washed out how fresh and peachy she is. I do not know for certain if she is infused, that is just my best guess due to how beautiful her coloring is all over. Take this with a grain if salt, and if you know more in this area, please see the photos and examine her carefully. Beautiful clear eyes, open and close easily. They need to be replaced. I just dont have time. No cracks, splits, discoloration, mold, mildew, odors, etc. Her tagged chemise is in wonderful crispy condition. Her nylons have aged a little and have a small hole near the top of one. Her pretty shoes shoes are in great condition but the elastic has stretched some. Her golden Saran wig is in close to its original set. I believe that is a replaced hair ribbon. This is a beautiful doll in beautiful overall condition! With some new lashes, shell be perfect! This is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissette who still retain all of her original vivid facial features and highly blushed cheeks. Her longer strawberry blond hair has a few fly away’s but has never been combed out. She wears a lovely tagged yellow dotted swiss dress with faux rhinestone buttons. Val lace trims the bodice and three quarter sleeve cuffs. The dress snaps down the back. The dress is in excellent condition with no soil or damage. Under her dress she wears a yellow cotton lace trimmed Madame Alexander slip and perfect taffeta lace trimmed panties and her vintage seamed hose, all in excellent condition. She also wears a pair of custom matching high heels in pastel yellow with matching elastic and cream satin insoles. While in my collection I added a little rhinestone bracelet, a custom hat with beautiful little flowers & stamens all in hues of yellow and white. All of the flowers are strictly vintage and are clean and bright. She does not have pieced ears and the little pearls I applied are on with a rubber type glue that comes right off and does no damage, and leaves no marks on the doll what so ever. The only note worthy flaw is that her eyes need a little help opening and closing. She is a stunning doll in a beautiful outfit. I have also included the little custom Haute Couture hatbox. Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Beautiful Blue Bird Print Dress. Beautiful vintage tagged “Cissy” dress. Polished cotton in the most beautiful blue–sort of a blend of steel blue/and maybe a darkish aqua–hard for me to describe–not a true blue but beautiful with birds on twigs with flowers print with muted green and pink highlights of color. Wide pink ribbon at waist with faux long petal flower at left side at waist. Still a colorful print with no fading, and a great heavy sheen, does not appear to have been laundered. Short cap sleeves, fitted lined bodice and full circle skirt. The dress has 4 square snaps at the center back of the bodice, and they are all securely attached and work. The hemming on the attached full circle skirt appears to be original, not rehemmed for length, with no missing stitched areas. No holes, no stains, very nice vintage tagged Madame Alexander “Cissy” dress, some minor wrinkling from storage. All items as described and photographed to the best of my ability. Beautiful blonde Cissy in original, tagged, celery green, sheer nylon floral dress with matching hat made in 1958 by Madame Alexander. She also wears a green can-can slip of taffeta and tulle, taffeta panties trimmed with Val lace, seamed nylon hose and shoes. A stunningly beautiful doll.
