Wendy is dressed in the cutest outfit and I believe it is named Wendy Looks as Sweet As A Lollipop (#326). She is a bend knee hard-plastic walker doll from 1957. This Alexander-kins is as cute as can be in her tagged dress and matching panty. The outfit itself is stiff polished cotton and like new except for a very tiny dot on the back of her skirt. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part blonde wig. Blue organdy dress with flocked dots. Original finger ring, white plastic ankle strap shoes. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched golden blonde wig in curls, the hair is tied at the sides, curls in the back, nice sheen, original style. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, ears are not pierced. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing her original 1950′s dress of light blue organdy with flocked dots, it has mother-of-pearl buttons down the front and lace trim. The dress is finely made. Alexander but it does not have the tag, it has a square snap at the waist. The dress does have some repairs, mostly to the sleeves but shows very well. She has a cotton petticoat with a hoop, white lace panties and plastic molded white high heels with ankle straps. The hat is fabulous, original 50′s, it is made with rolled rosettes of genuine mink on a band with blue net veil and rayon ribbon ties. She has an original ring on her finger. She is wearing the rare blue version of this pleated bridesmaid dress, slip, and panties. She carries her original shoes that have stretched and cut elastic, with a little wicker flower basket. This slip is exceptionally pretty with the dotted swiss tulle ruffle on the inside, elastic a bit stretched from age but stays up. The flowers on the bodice of her dress have been re-placed with vintage flowers with tiny rhinestones here and there very pretty. There are no holes tears or rips in the dress that I can see. Hi, This is a 1955-56 Madame Alexander 20 inch Cissy Doll. This doll is in Nice Condition for 65 years old. She has Clear Blue eyes with All of her original eyelashes. Her face has original painted features. She does have 2 small rubs on her forehead and on her eyelids. Her Brunette Hair wig is Very Thick and in Original set with curls. She has one split high up in one hip, No splits at her knees. There is a light spot on her chest. Her Stringing is Fine and she holds poses Great!! She will look Fabulous in any Dress you put on her! This is a lovely bobbed hair blonde Cissy doll wearing the hard-to-find 1957 cornflower blue sundress with red rick rack trim and rhinestone accents. The dress is in very nice clean condition. It is tagged Cissy and from the tag it appears that the dress has likely been washed. There are no stains, holes, or tears in the dress and all of the snaps are secure and present. The left bodice bust seam is just showing the beginning of pulling apart right at the waist but with a quick safety stitch it can easily be fixed. The slip is an original MA rickrack edged cancan slip. It is not particularly stiff so I think it has been washed. The elastic is only slightly relaxed. The panties are original Cissy panties and the waist elastic is stretched. The stockings, high heels, and bracelet are replacements. The hat and purse are Richard Originals. Her hair is in really nice shiny condition. Her eyes are the most beautiful sky blue color. She has been reblushed, reshadowed, and sealed and her lips have been repainted. She has no seam splits. Her head has a tiny bit of a wobble when you shake her. This Cissy is a beautiful doll and ready to display. Doll stand not included. Large photos are shown of this doll so please check them all out. This beautiful lady was bought from her original owner this last summer. She said she was never allowed to play with it and the condition makes me believe that is true. The dress in NOT tagged, but fits well and is definitely made with attention to detail. There are applied sequins on the skirt, but one is missing on the shoulder. Her panty hose and shoes have seen better days. There are holes in the stockings and the straps are broken on the shoes. In the pictures though please notice the blush still rosy on her knees. She has on no underwear but the dress has built in slips. The truly remarkable part of this doll is her hair which is still in its original set. There are barrettes and the remnants of her original hair net. I found the flower head piece in the box with her, but it is in rough shape. It has some little stones in it similar to the dress so I thought it went with. Overall the facial coloring is just gorgeous. I hope the pictures do her justice and I hope someone wants to give her a new home for Christmas. A very kind e-bayer sent me the following information about her–She is #2097 from 1955, she is missing an ostrich fan as well as her undies! The flowers do go with the gown, she is also minus her necklace. Thank you for your interest. I will try to address your questions one at a time. There is a tiny “boo-boo” on the very end of her nose. It is about the size of a common pin head. Her dress is really pretty. The stone on the shoulder in the front is missing. Upon further examination, there appear to be some tiny stones at the seam lines on the front panel. There are no cracks, I checked her legs and body. There does appear to be a small dot of paint? On her lower left arm. I will try to add a picture of this to the description. I will see what I can do or message me and I will send it to you directly On her lashes, they all appear to be there I THINK. In the center of the left eye, there may be a couple of lashes missing? I have to really get in her face to see it… If you think of anything else, please ask as this not the kind of doll I normally deal with.
