With blonde hair arranged with forehead curls and flip, wearing tagged blue polished cotton shirtwaist with white braid trim, white taffeta petticoat, panties, stockings, white slings with silver heels, pearl earrings, white woven bonnet with blue streamers. Alexander, Cissette, circa 1960, model 810, described in the catalog as “for tea in the garden, simple cotton dress trimmed with braid” is in good condition with crisp coloring. Note: Condition is as seen. One shoe is missing. There are few tiny discolorations on the dress and yellowing on the slip. Her earrings have tarnished. I have replaced her hose. Presented here is a beautiful Cissy from 1960s up for sale. She has a gorgeous red wig and big green blue eyes that open and close. She has big red luscious lips that are her original lips. Her eyelashes are Gorgeous. She has a crack on her left leg. She also has a large scratch right between her eyebrows. She is wearing a fabulous gown of light blue taffeta with an over skirt of white and silver metallic lace. It has prong Rhinestones around the scallop hem. The The bodice has a net/tulle stole around the neck and a cloth flower at the center. In has long taffeta streamers going down the back The dress is tagged Madame Alexander. Underneath is a matching petticoat with layers of net , a lace trimmed hem woven with matching blue satin ribbon. She wears white taffeta panties and silver high heel shoes. She is absolutely beautiful. I want to keep her in my own collection but my husband said what are you doing with all these dolls. So I have to let some go. Welcome to my auctions! She is 20 tall with hard plastic body and soft vinyl jointed arms. Her knees are also jointed for posing. Her dress is made of a vintage blue polished cotton with design of pink rosebuds, with drop waist and puffed sleeves. It is a lovely fabric with nice sheen and fullness. A copy of one of Cissy’s original dresses. There are 5 square snaps that close her dress in back. Under the dress is a taffeta nylon half slip with matching undies. The dress and slip/undies were made by several seamstress friends that are highly talented. She has nice tight nylons and lovely, newer blue high heel Cissy shoes. She carries a white straw bag with pink velvet rose and matches her white horsehair hat, made by Richards Originals.. I have embellished the hat with a large pink velvet rose and sprigs of tiny blue flowers. Her jewelry is a signature rhinestone bracelet and matching rhinestone stud earrings. A pair of pink nylon Cissy gloves completes her outfit. Cissy herself is stunning. She has been to the spa for a refreshing and has a flawless face…….. Nice cheek color, one stroke brows, full lashes and full red mouth. Her eyes are a deep blue color. Her hair is a deep honey blond and the hair is pulled up on each side and made into one large curl. The hair is pulled back from the front into a cluster of curls at the back of her neck. Her hair looks more red in my pictures, as my camera can’t seem to get it right. The doll has no problems, no cracks and clean condition. A lovely doll and gorgeous outfit! From smoke free home. The books say the dress is very hard to find on page #150 of the Cissy Files, but I think it is rare. The dress is in excellent condition with no rips, holes, or odors, the elastic is still stretchy, the lace is pretty. There are a couple of tiny brown spots on the sleeve and bodice of the dress, shown in the last two photos. They may soak out in oxiclean. Wendy is dressed in the cutest outfit and I believe it is named Wendy Looks as Sweet As A Lollipop (#326). She is a bend knee hard-plastic walker doll from 1957. This Alexander-kins is as cute as can be in her tagged dress and matching panty. The outfit itself is stiff polished cotton and like new except for a very tiny dot on the back of her skirt. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part blonde wig. Blue organdy dress with flocked dots. Original finger ring, white plastic ankle strap shoes. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched golden blonde wig in curls, the hair is tied at the sides, curls in the back, nice sheen, original style. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, ears are not pierced. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing her original 1950′s dress of light blue organdy with flocked dots, it has mother-of-pearl buttons down the front and lace trim. The dress is finely made. Alexander but it does not have the tag, it has a square snap at the waist. The dress does have some repairs, mostly to the sleeves but shows very well. She has a cotton petticoat with a hoop, white lace panties and plastic molded white high heels with ankle straps. The hat is fabulous, original 50′s, it is made with rolled rosettes of genuine mink on a band with blue net veil and rayon ribbon ties. She has an original ring on her finger. She is wearing the rare blue version of this pleated bridesmaid dress, slip, and panties. She carries her original shoes that have stretched and cut elastic, with a little wicker flower basket. This slip is exceptionally pretty with the dotted swiss tulle ruffle on the inside, elastic a bit stretched from age but stays up. The flowers on the bodice of her dress have been re-placed with vintage flowers with tiny rhinestones here and there very pretty. There are no holes tears or rips in the dress that I can see.
