Vintage 1937-42 Madame Alexander Scarlett O’Hara 11 Composition Doll. She is in very nice vintage condition. The only flaw I found on her is her right eye is missing it’s eyelashes and she has a rub on the tip of her nose. Her composition appears to be very nice with no cracks or crazing. She has very nice face color and hair in original set. Her outfit is in all original condition and appears to be excellent with no damage or stains. I noticed on her white cotton slip some of the wire has become unraveled in an area, just a few inches maybe (shown in the close up of her shoes). I noticed her fingernails are painted. I’m not sure if that is how she came or if someone painted them. She is wearing green leatherette side snap shoes. One of the heels is missing on one (shown). Overall, she is just lovely doll. Vintage 1940′s Madame Alexander Wendy Ann 21 Bridesmaid Doll. I believe she has the Wendy Ann face. This Bridesmaid is in very nice condition. She once had a crack on the side of her head (by her ears), but it has been professionally repaired and you cannot even tell it has ever been repaired that is how well it was done. The top layer of paint on her right leg has some deep crazing (shown) this is not a crack, just crazing of the top layer of paint. She is truly an exceptional doll. She has beautiful face color with bright blue eyes! She has very, very faint craze lines on her face. Her all original outfit is tagged Madame Alexander. Her dress appears to be very nice with no damage or stains, it has a few tiny pin size holes along the bottom, not noticeable unless searching for them. Her hair is in very nice condition with matching flowers. Overall, she is just lovely and even more stunning in person. F rom an Odor Free home. Margaret was a child actress popular in the 1940s. It was said that she could cry on demand. She’s got a sweet little face… A more matted paint than some. I place this doll from 1946-47. She displays well, but has some imperfections. Tiny missing loss of lip paint, easily touched up; faint white mark or loss of blush on cheeks; chipped right index finger; some crazing and color mottling to arms and legs; faint soil marks here and there to the dress (but it’s crisp and un-laundered); holes throughout the lace on bottom edge of dress (they are uniformly positioned, but I don’t think they’re supposed to be there). I can fix some of these issues if you want. Just let me know. I matched the shoe laces since I took the photo here. Ask me any questions you’d like. I have displayed her away from direct sunlight and she comes from a smoke-free home. This poor girl has had so many non payers… She’s starting to get an insecurity complex! MADAME ALEXANDER’S JANE WITHERS DOLL 13 TALL WITH NO MARKINGS ON BACK OF DOLL. THE SMALLEST SIZE HAD EITHER A CLOSED MOUTH OR OPEN WITH TEETH AND SOME WERE UNMARKED. SHE IS ALL COMPOSITION AND HAS NOT BEEN RESTORED EXCEPT FOR RESTRINGING. I DO NOT SEE ANY CRAZING, SHE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR HER AGE. JANE HAS A REPLACED MOHAIR WIG WITH LOTS OF CURLS. THE FIRST DOLL WAS PRODUCED IN 1937 IN FOURS SIZES. THIS JANE HAS A CLOSED MOUTH AND SLEEP EYES WHICH ARE A LITTLE CLOUDY BUT HAVE BEEN GIVEN AN OIL TREATMENT. SHE HAS LOVELY FULL BRUSH LASHES. LOWER LASHES ARE PAINTED, EYEBROWS ARE PAINTED BROWN, HER LIPS ARE A SHAPELY PAINTED CLOSED MOUTH WITH BLUSHED CHEEKS. KNEES, TOP OF HANDS AND ELBOWS ARE BLUSHED AS WELL. JANE HAS A VINTAGE JUMPER WITH PLAID BLOUSE, PANTIES, SHOES AND SOCKS ALL REPLACED AS SHE HAD LOST HER ORIGINAL CLOTHING. Vintage 1940s Compo Alexander 12 McGUFFEY ANA Doll ORIGINAL BOX Wrist Tag. Fresh from an estate in southern Minnesota from her original family is this hard to find vintage Madame Alexander McGuffey Ana doll from the 1940s. Still in her original box, unplayed with and her wrist tag. Box has its original liner and tissue paper. She is made of composition. She is 12 inches tall. Her eyes are clear. Hair is in the original set with original ribbons. Minimal crazing and a small rub above the left eye. Original tagged outfit is clean and crisp. Let me know if you need further information.
