Madame Alexander (Elise) Doll Antique Never Taken Out Of The Box.

Elise doll created by famous Madame Alexander!!! She is about 15 tall. This Elise doll is all hard plastic with soft vinyl arms. Doll is in good condition. Sleepy eyes mechanism is working. Hair in original shape. Minor scratches/marks are present to all of her plastic parts. Her dress is tagged. Underskirt is too big and is in poor condition. Shoes are stretched on the top snd don’t fit her well. Holes are present to her nylon stockings. Comes with s bridal flowers bouquet. Stand is not included. Please refer to pictures. This was my childhood baby doll, which I received new in the 1960s. As I have no children to leave her to, she needs a new home. She is marked on the back “MME ALEXANDER” for Madame Alexander. Her head is marked “ALEXANDER”. Her clothes are original. Her slip has a label that says “Elise” (see photo); however, as she looks like the larger (15) Maggie Mixup doll, it seems maybe only her body is the Elise design. She may be model #1812, a somewhat rare doll, especially with original clothing. Details: Light complexion with shiny, straight red-orange hair. Gorgeous, intense green eyes that open and close easily. Painted upper and lower lashes, as well as hair upper lashes. Painted feather brows and freckles below her eyes. Hard plastic body and legs. Arms appear to be rubber. Jointed limbs: head, arms, elbows, knees and feet move. Doll comes with clothing only–no stand, box, jewelry, or tags. Measures about 15 inches long. Condition: Good overall with caveats. Her face and body appear undamaged. She had slippers originally, but these are the only clothes items remaining: Nightgown, cape, slip, and panties. Slip has had one strap stretched and one snap is missing on back that resulted in a small hole (the only one noted). Clothing is a slightly faded and fragile. Lining of gown has threads showing at bottom. Clothing overall needs TLC. She is posable but cannot stay in position on her own without support. Few smudges that may clean off. Few small black marks in left palm. Looks like a slight original mold/cast mark at the edge of her right knee. From smoke free home.

Circa 1950′s, this Madame Alexander Elise is wearing her original gold ballerina outfit. She is in great condition with original wig and accessories. She is jointed at knees and ankles as well as elbows. All joints bend as expected. Eyes sleep with no missing lashes. A few scuffs to the ballerina shoes and a tiny hole in one nylon. Fine once she is positioned. No cracks or splits. Wig still has spreader bar.

The necklace and earrings show wear (see photos). Her eyes open and close as they should.

Vintage Madame Alexander1962 Elise Bride doll style #1750 version Complete!! . Beautiful display only doll. Her shoes were stretched out. So I bought her a new pair. Everything else is Exceptional. She is a very beautiful Elise.

No cracks or splits. Her body has slightly discolored.

Some yellow discoloration and marks are present to her face, hard plastic body and outfit. Yellow darkening IS NOT from smoking: no smoking odor is present. Beautifully preserved face paint. Sleepy eyes mechanism is working. Hair is in original shape. Veil wasn’t removed due to being securely attached to her hair. Tagged original outfit ; tag is present. New high heels shoes; not original to this doll. She is missing her jewelry and, probably, flower bouquet. Some stains and holes might be present to her outfit- see photos. Please refer to pictures. Beautiful Madame Alexander Elise doll about 1958 and 15in tall. Jointed elbows, knees, ankles. Open close eyes that work freely. She wears a toule type outer skirt and poof sleeves with white dots. Some of white dots have rubbed onto dolls vinyl arms from storage. Beautiful off white underskirt and a pink skirt under that. Doll wears pretty white panties. Snap closures in back, pink ribbon tie. Dress and ribbon need a careful ironing or clever way to safely straighten dress fabrics. Dolls hair is a pretty blonde and curls need a spa treatment from laying flat in storage. Pretty pink floral headband which the string under has stretched. Right poof sleeve elastic appears to be stretched. You may find a light cleaning needed, or small things not mentioned here. Elise is a real beauty and I hope she finds a home to appreciate her!
