I really rely on excellent feedback. 1950s Maggie face 18 Madame aAlexander Alice in Wonderland doll. Slip looks like a replacement. She is in very good played with condition. Very clean, could use a bit of styling. Her hair looks like it has been reset. Maybe cut in the back. Still a pretty vintage doll. My dolls are all around 50-80 years old. I consider them TLC and some are in better condition than others. I try to mention anything I see, but please read the description and look at the pictures. This is a MADAME ALEXANDER ” Annabelle” using the Maggie face. She is from 1953 and is 17 inches tall. Her blonde hair is in its original set with the original ribbon. Her dress and sweater are in wonderful condition. No holes or stains to report. Shoes and socks are great and original too. Her stringing is good. Her face has lovely even coloring with some cheek coloring and the dolls eyes are wonderful with thick lashes which are all present (see photo). I think Madame Alexander created some of her best designs in the 1950′s. What a GORGEOUS doll! Produced in 1948 & 1949, this beautiful & rare 15 Rosamund variation is rare. I’ve had her in my personal collection for many years, and I was lucky enough to acquire her from the original owner, well protected in her original box! Her lovely tagged costume is in outstanding condition, with only a few tiny breaks in the tulle skirt of the gown. I don’t think I could locate them again if I tried! The pale pink satin bodice is trimmed in ruffled pink tulle, which matches both the gathered straps and the full skirt. There are two layers of tulle in the skirt, the outermost & longest trimmed in pink satin ribbon and decorated with three scattered light pink cabbage roses. The innermost skirt layer is a very lightweight light pink taffeta. Her panties match the underskirt, and close at the back with one square snap. The gown also closes as the back with two square snaps. The original rose & velvet forget-me-not bouquet at the waist is complimented with light blue ribbon, a tiny velvet forget-me-not attached to the bottom of each streamer. Maggie’s headpiece, in perfect condition, is composed of stiff green woven straw. Rosebud trim is fastened. Across the middle, and light pink roses and green leaves decorate each side. She wears her original hosiery & satin center-snap shoes. This is an exquisite doll, with flawless features and all original coloring. Her blonde wig hangs in pretty curls dusting her shoulders, and she has clear blue eyes with full lashes. Maggie has no splits, cracks or odors. Her original box is in fair condition, with some old “tape mending, ” and some pieces torn from the lip of the box lid. NMIB, she doesn’t come along often. DON’T LET HER GET AWAY. VINTAGE 1950s MADAME ALEXANDER 24 WINNIE WALKER DOLL CISSY FACE ALL ORIGINAL. Darling vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander 24 Winnie Walker doll in wonderful condition. This Winnie Walker came from her 74 year old original owner’s estate and has been stored for decades in her MA box. She still has her little hat box with metal award coin and tag inside. She is an early Winnie doll with no maker marks on her. Her head turns side to side when you move her legs. Her arms are a bit faded, and there are some tiny (pin head size) marks on the back of one leg. Other than that she’s perfect! Her face paint is flawless with rosy cheeks and red lips. Her brunette wig is shiny, full, and in the original curly hair-do. The organdy pink dress is beautiful, but the tag has been removed. The doll is also wearing a pink satin slip with matching bloomers, and her little center snap fuzzy shoes are very nice. The doll and clothing are clean with no unpleasant odors. The bottom of the box is well intact, but does have a couple splits; the lid is missing most of the edges. Here’s a charming vintage doll from the Madame Alexander Glamour Girl Series. She’s a walker doll and has the adorable Maggie face. She’s in very good condition and comes wearing her original tagged blue flowery print cotton dress with matching bonnet, hooped slip with attached panties, white lace gloves, hose, shoes and a beautiful additional vintage petticoat. She also comes carrying her MA black hatbox which is in excellent condition with the authentic Madame Alexander Fashion Academy medallion attached. Inside the box are the tiny original pink comb and hair curlers. The wire in her hoop skirt is somewhat bent. Her lace bonnet has 2 of the original 5 rosebuds. They show some wear. Her dress is in very nice condition with perhaps some slight fading. Also, the elastic in the sleeves has relaxed. One of her shoes has a strap that’s worn but the snap still works and the shoe stays on fine. This doll has a darling face with lightly blushed cheeks, red lips and eyeshadow. Her blue eyes open and close and all of her thick dark lashes are intact. Her gorgeous auburn wig is in its original style. Her walker mechanism works well and she holds poses perfectly. VINTAGE MADAME ALEXANDER 14 NINA BALLERINA DOLL Hard Plastic , Margaret Face , Floss Wig , Tagged Dress , All Original. Here is a lovely 14 hard plastic, strung Nina Ballerina doll. Her face has nicely painted features and original cheek blush. Sleep eyes work well and she has all original applied brush lashes. The dolls shiny blonde floss wig is in the original up-do hairstyle with curls and four flowers. There are just a few fly-aways. Curly bangs are at her forehead. Her body appears to be in excellent condition with minimal signs of play wear. Her head stringing is a little loose but it can be placed in position and stay there. The doll has an original, hard-to-find, metallic beaded choker necklace. Her tagged satin dress is trimmed with gold rick-rack and flowers that match the ones in her hair. The dress has layers of tulle on the skirt portion. I found some small holes in the tulle most in the second (underneath) layer. Theres only a tiny bit of age yellowing on the tulle; you have to look closely to see it. The dress has a stiff underslip and attached, lace-trimmed panties. Nina wears original satin ballet flats that might have never been removed. All clothes are in very good, gently worn condition. Please look at the photos carefully as they are part of the description. She does have a faint “hard plastic” scent that you sometimes find on old dolls, but it’s not at all sour or unpleasant and is not mold. Beautiful vintage 1952 “Madame Alexander” “Walt Disney” “Snow White” “Margaret” faced doll. She is 18 inches high and hard plastic. She has a shiny black, glued-on wig in its original factory style. Sleep eyes with full lashes, and beautiful face paint. Movable head, arms and legs. She is wearing her complete original outfit consisting of her gown, metallic gold bodice, panties, socks and shoes. The gown is ivory background, with gold print, with full puffed sleeves, elastic at bottoms, fitted waist and very full skirt. It has an attached cotton petticoat, that is trimmed with lace. It snaps in the back. It is tagged Madame Alexander, Walt Disney, Snow White. The metallic gold bodice (vest) has attached collar that matches the gown, laces up the front with metallic gold cord. Cotton panties, trimmed with lace, that snap in the back. Knitted socks and metallic gold, front snap shoes. I have done my best to recreate her rhinestone tiara, rhinestone necklace with center teardrop pendant, glued-on rhinestone earrings and rhinestone bracelet, made from antique and vintage rhinestone pieces. I have added the ribbon to her hair and made her a nylon net petticoat, to make her skirt stand out nicely. She is in very good condition, her issues are: her eyes are shiny, but not the blue that they once were, there is light discoloration on the collar of the gold bodice and on the sleeves and bodice of dress. The print on the fabric is slightly faded in places. I have added new elastic to the bottoms of the puffed sleeves, there are a few very tiny holes in the sleeves near the elastic. The metallic gold fabric has split front and back of bodice, but it is backed with stiff cotton fabric and is stable. The cotton petticoat and panties are no longer as white as they once were, as well as the socks. The metallic gold shoes have worn to a silver look on some parts of them. Featured here is an exquisite vintage Madame Alexander Elise Bride Doll, a beautiful blonde with shining flip curls in their original set and short waved bangs. She stands just over 15 inches tall with her veil. She is dressed in her original tiered lace ruffled gown which is TAGGED at the back ; see photos. S he has a wonderful long cathedral length veil with lace trim and a lace and tiny pearl trimmed cap. There is a beaded flower in pearls at each side, at the temple. The bridal cap is edged in pleated chiffon, a lovely vintage feature on this doll’s outfit. She has her original satin high heels; her original pantyhose split so they will not be included. NOTE: The bridal veil, satin panties and slip are all edged in the same PLEATED CHIFFON and match. The cathedral length veil, panties and slip are all ORIGINAL to her 1960s bridal doll attire. This doll can be displayed with the long veil flowing back behind her, or pulled over her head to the front — to show off to advantage the beautiful fabric flowers across the back of her lovely blonde wig. I have added a necklace of vintage graduated pearls to her bridal outfit and she has pearl drop earrings. She has a large satin bow at her waist in the front of the gown. I have also added a very full, very stiff vintage double layer lace and tulle slip to her outfit; it has an elastic at the waist and makes her very long, very full skirt display beautifully. This doll has the Madame Alexander “Marybel” Elise face with rosy cheeks, peach lips and beautiful mouth that is slightly turned down at the corners. She has fingernail polish in peach that matches her lips. She has painted two-stroke light brown brows, and all her brush dark eyelashes. She has open and close radial eyes in hazel blue grey. Her eyes are very clear with no “smokiness” from age at all. This doll’s wig is amazing; it is a burnished shining blonde, with tight curls in their original set all way round her head. She has short wavy blonde bangs. Her wig is double stitched at the crown of her head. Her body is the original vintage MA Elise multi-jointed body with joints at the ankles, knees, hips, neck and shoulders. She has wonderful even body coloring, no fading or yellowing or deep pink hue that some of these vintage dolls can get. I have had this doll stored in a darkened doll room inside a closed glass case, so she is very clean. My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE. I take great care to wrap my dolls so that they do not move around in transit. I add box supports, air pillows, and bubble wrap to protect them in transit. NOTE: I will include a doll stand so that she will be ready for display on arrival. She will be insured and have signature confirmation to ensure she arrives to you safely.
