ELISE Ballerina Sleepy Eyes Jointed Hard Plastic Doll 15. She could definitely use some cleaning. Her clothes needs some cleaning and repair on the floral decorations. Her headband has loss it’s elasticity. One of her legs is a little loose and wobbly when her tights are removed. One side of her wig could use some fresh glue. Nonetheless, she is very beautiful. She comes in a Wendy-kins box. The box is decent but rough. Her outfit is tagged with an embroidered tag on back. There are no holes, tears, or stains on clothes. She has outstanding coloring and is a bent knee walker, Her walker works great and is smooth. She poses and holds position. I do not see anything wrong with her. She has her original arm tag. She has a blond single stitch wig and eyes flutter nicely. A very clean handsome looking doll for the collector. And that what this McGuffey Ana is – just a little cutie. She is 14 inches tall. For reference see page #32 in “Doll Values” 13th Edition by Linda Edward. She was made from 1948 to 1950 by Madame Alexander. She is mint and all original. Just take a look at her facial painting – excellent. She does not have any splits or cracks in her plastic. However, I have not removed her clothing so as to maintain her originality. Just looks at the curls – they have their original set. What a wonderful doll.
