We are pleased to offer for sale this vintage absolutely adorable Rare Early 1955 Madame Alexander Kins Wendy Straight Legs Walker Strung doll. Series: WENDY is a Little Genius. Dress and Bonnet style. 1955 that is the only year the doll had no lower painted eyelashes. The tagged Little genius clothes came out in 1956. She still has nice coloring with red lips, nice lashes and curved brown eyebrows, face is slightly pale. She has dark blonde hair with some slight red touch and she is jointed at the neck, arms, legs, knees, eyes works well. Her body is a loose type. Maybe it will need a re-strung later. So far it’s still okay. Her walking mechanism works not perfect but okay most of the time. Sometimes her head may get stuck. However it’s still working somehow. Her back is signed ALEX for Madame Alexander authenticity. She wears original Madame Alexander very RARE tagged Little Genius outfit from 1956 with matching bonnet. Southern Edwardian style, also she wears cute. She wears Madame Alexander beautiful velvet shoes and white socks. She looks absolutely adorable. Her outfit may have some slight aging signs, otherwise it’s fine. Nobody played with this doll, however this doll was displayed by collector. The doll has good preowned condition. Her outfit and her body is very good for this vintage age, body and outfit may have slight aging signs. Legs has slight brown aging spots behind, dress has slight yellow spots. However outfit and doll has a very. Good condition for early vintage item. Her hair still in good pristine factory condition. Vtg 1950′s Madame Alexander ELISE 15 Doll Hard Plastic w Jointed Vinyl Body. Doll is in nice clean working condition. She has not been restrung and still has her original band inside arms. Her eyes are nice and bright with full lashes. She has a light complexion with nice face paint. Her joints are good. It does take a bit of gentle pressure to put her in a sitting position. I put the right leg in first then the left leg goes more easily. Other than that, she will need a doll stand to display. Her outfit is not tagged and is a beautiful sea blue green color. It appears to be made of organdy where her slip is made of satin. I’ve replaced her nylons and shoes. She comes with a nice faux white shawl. She is a very nice doll. Vintage Madame Alexander ELISE Bride Doll. Beautiful Ivory Wedding Gown. Complete with panties, nylon stockings, veil, bouquet- no shoes or stand. Tagged, Clean, Very good Condition. Her joints are secure & Elise poses easily. Joints are moveable at neck, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees & ankles. Elise holds a Lovely flower bouquet trimmed with ribbons. Her veil is held in place by a beautiful band of flowers. Her nylon stockings are free of defects. Bright Clear Blue Eyes all lashes intact Eyes open and close easily. Beautiful all Original face color Body has no cracks and the only defects I can see are photographed and are just surface. I do not know the proper way to clean it so I will leave it up to the experts. She is in really great condition! An infused doll means the body color was “infused” into the plastic, not painted on as the earlier Cissys were. This doll head is shown alone and on a body, but this sale is for just the head. The head is clean and has no odors, stains, cracks. The wig has been cleaned and retains its original curls. The sides have been tied back and a new spanner bar installed. The curls will need a bit more styling. The face has had blush added and a sealer applied. The eyes have full original lashes. The head does have earring holes. Earrings are original pearl Cissy earrings that have lost their “pearl” coating. The head has the attachment hook inside. I do not photoshop or alter my pictures in any way. Excellent condition vintage Cissy doll, approx. Full eyelashes and sleep eyes work well. Clean doll, very light residue on the hands could use cleaning. There is light wear to the paint on eyelids visible when eyes are closed (see photos). Comes nude with panties and shoes in good condition, there is a spot on the panties. The eyes are beautiful with lighter green in the centers, sparkling bright. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing her original 1950′s pink and white stripe dress with full A-line skirt, full sleeves, white cuffs and collar. The dress is not tagged, overall excellent condition, there is one tiny spot on the back of the bodice and one tiny rust spot on the skirt, hard to see either, the collar and cuffs may not be as white as they once were. She has the original taffeta slip with ruffled net flounce on the inside and out side of the hem, the elastic waist has been. The panties are matching taffeta they have repairs. The vintage hat is fabulous, white straw, shaped wide brim with pink velvet flowers and full white veil, hat pins. Adorable pink strappy high heels with rose buds on the toes, they are newer vintage. Stitched part red wig tied and pulled back at the side with curls on top and long curls at the back of the neck. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears with rhinestone tear drop earrings. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She has a vintage pearl necklace with a rhinestone bow drop. She is wearing a fabulous handmade custom gown, it has a label inside, it is vintage 1970-80′s. The gown is lavender silk with handmade and sewn rolled lavender silk roses, they have raw fringed edges and cover the entire gown. The dress snaps in back and has a large silk bustle back bow. The front is ruched and gathered, accented with rosettes. Is a very full layered taffeta and tulle petticoat with lace trim, this is an Alexander slip. She has white lace panties and lavender molded plastic high heels with ankle straps. The hat is vintage 50′s straw trimmed with matching lavender flowers and ribbons, it has a vintage copper hat pin with a lavender blown glass top.
