White straw hat with pink velvet flowers, full veil, hat pins. Pink strappy high heels with flowers on the toes. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part red wig in short curls. She has green sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, ears are not pierced. The eyes are beautiful with lighter green in the centers, sparkling bright. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing her original 1950′s pink and white stripe dress with full A-line skirt, full sleeves, white cuffs and collar. The dress is not tagged, overall excellent condition, there is one tiny spot on the back of the bodice and one tiny rust spot on the skirt, hard to see either, the collar and cuffs may not be as white as they once were. She has the original taffeta slip with ruffled net flounce on the inside and out side of the hem, the elastic waist has been. The panties are matching taffeta they have repairs. The vintage hat is fabulous, white straw, shaped wide brim with pink velvet flowers and full white veil, hat pins. Adorable pink strappy high heels with rose buds on the toes, they are newer vintage. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part red wig tied and pulled back at the side with curls on top and long curls at the back of the neck. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears with rhinestone tear drop earrings. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She has a vintage pearl necklace with a rhinestone bow drop. She is wearing a fabulous handmade custom gown, it has a label inside, it is vintage 1970-80′s. The gown is lavender silk with handmade and sewn rolled lavender silk roses, they have raw fringed edges and cover the entire gown. The dress snaps in back and has a large silk bustle back bow. The front is ruched and gathered, accented with rosettes. Is a very full layered taffeta and tulle petticoat with lace trim, this is an Alexander slip. She has white lace panties and lavender molded plastic high heels with ankle straps. The hat is vintage 50′s straw trimmed with matching lavender flowers and ribbons, it has a vintage copper hat pin with a lavender blown glass top. Minor rubs from age in the joints and neck and a tiny few fly aways on the hair, there are some minor rough edges on the tips of the. Noticeable unless very closely inspecting. She will come to you in her original outfit with exception of the “cross bow” hairpiece, her forehead jewel and her original gold tiara. Everything else in the original outfit is included — including the very, very RARE papier-mache jeweled and feathered turquoise Elephant Head and gold beaded green feather fan. Her outfit is comprised of a lovely multi-colored (burgundy, rose, peach) chiffon gown with told trim and jeweled accents, a voluminous rose lined blue ruffled cape with hook and eye fastener! And MA tag, gold and rhinestone jewelry (dangle earrings, cuff bracelets, choker necklace, hair decoration), brocade slacks and gold formal length gloves and gold shoes. NOTE 1: TWO metal doll stands will come with this doll — a large metal stand for the doll and a smaller black metal stand for the Elephant Head. If I hadnt gotten laid off, this doll would not be up for sale… But life goes on. This is a gorgeous redhead Cissy , dressed in the HTF 1956 Black Torso Mermaid evening gown is in very nice condition but NOT mint in my opinion. Her hair is in all original form, blue eyes are turning a little green, full eye lashes, eyes close freely, no smells, smoke or odors She had good color on her paint, cheeks are bare, lips and body color is good.. No splits on the legs or crotch. Dress still has all the original rosettes on the outside and under layer of the dress. Original panties and fitted slip to the knee with flounce tulle to the feet. HTF ORIGINAL shoes, however, elastic is completely stretched out and there are some moth holes in the pink of the shoes. You should be able to see this clearly. Dress is in great shape, but upon examination, I did notice a few areas on the underside that should be refreshed and cleaned. There are some rub marks around her neck, I ran out of space for pics but can send if you want to see them. Clearly, in her 63 years of life, she has been admired from afar and not in played with condition. THIS MADAME ALEXANDER CISSY – IS A 1957 DOLL, MY PERSONAL DOLL I GOT AS A CHILD. HEIGHT: 20 INCHES SHE HAS JOINTED SOFT VINYL ARMS, HARD-PLASTIC JOINTED LEGS AND AN INFUSED PLASTIC FACE. SHE HAS NO OPEN SEAMS, HOWEVER SHE HAS A SMALL SPLIT UP FROM THE JOINT ON ONE LEG (SEE PHOTO CLOSE UP). HEAVY BLUSH ON HANDS AND KNEES. THIS DOLL IS VERY CLEAN AND HAS BEEN STORED, WITH OCCASIONAL DISPLAYING, FOR MANY YEARS. Gorgeous exceptionally shiny red wig in original style with partial up sweep. Original bar across the crown of her head with a full head of curls at the nape of her neck. Still retains some of the original doll pins holding the curls in place. Clear blue-green eyes with full upper lashes – just a truly beautiful face – the classic red lips – all making that red hair look fabulous! She has a lovely flesh-colored matte complexion. Her skin tone on her entire body is that peachy flesh-colored tone with a lot of blushing on the arms, hands and legs highlighting and contouring her natural features. There is a slight split on the one leg. I can find nothing else on this doll to detract from the beauty she was the first day I got her! (I was a lucky little girl and knew it). She is very clean and has no odors that I can detect. Cissy will come to you in a 1956 HTF mint satin and lace corset. The corset is tagged Cissy and zips up the back. The main body of this is an ecru or beige color with the accent lace an ivory color. A small delicate pink rose at mid-cleavage is the finishing touch to this intricate design. Madame Alexander was spot on when she went for feminine with this lovely under garment. The pictures do more to describe this timeless piece than I can with words. Cissy is wearing lace-topped seamed nylons with the pretty pink mules donning cabbage roses and rhinestones. The shoes are as clean and mint as the corset. I think this doll is much prettier in person than she is in her photographs. She really makes you do a double take. Cissy wears her original pearl drop earrings. All sales are final. I do not smoke. We have a smoke free, pet free home. Here for your consideration is a wonderful composition doll by Madame Alexander. This is the very RARE RED HEAD Nurse for the Dionne Quintuplets. She is full body composition. I measure her at 13 inches tall and that is what the book says, as well. She has the “Betty” face. She is all original and will come to you in her original Box! She has beautiful sleep eyes. She is missing lashes from her left eye. She is all original and in beautiful condition. I do not see a tag, but that is not unusual with dolls of this age. It is very obvious she is in her original outfit. She is also wearing her original shoes and socks. Please note she even still has her Nurse’s Cap! She is in beautiful condition and I see nothing wrong with her. Her face paint, eyebrows, lower lashes and lips are absolutely beautiful. I just realized that there is a tiny hole in the back of her top (I just checked and it is visible in the picture) and the little safety pin that is supposed to fasten the back of her skirt is missing. That is an easy fix. Please view the pictures carefully, as they are part of the description. I could miss something that is important to you. I have a smoke free, pet free home.
