Vtg MADAME ALEXANDER 8 Jointed Knee 1950s’ Wendy Kins DOLL, Clean, MIB 500 BOX. She has blonde hair & blue sleep eyes. She is dressed in her original panties, shoes, & socks. She is jointed at the knees, hips, shoulders, & neck. She is marked, “ALEX” on the back as shown in the photos. She measures about 8 tall. She is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, or other signs of damage, or repairs. Her hair style is still nice & crisp & she is clean with no scratches. Her stringing is still nice & tight. She is in beautiful condition and has a lovely even skin tone. Her cheeks are nicely blushed and her painting is in lovely condition. Her wig is shiny and nice and tight to her head. The hat is in great shape with no issues to the lace back or netted sides. The hats color has aged some and it is not as white as it once was but there are no stains or holes. The navy blue corded tie is in good condition and is still nice an long. This hat is the perfect thing to complete any of your early Alexander Kins outfits. This is a stunning 1955 Alexander-kins hat for outfits #457 “Wendy Goes To Sunday School” and “Curly Locks” #472. 25 and on outfit #472 in the “World of Alexander Kins” by P. Smith on page 155. The hat is in excellent condition with no issues what so ever. The color is beautiful and the pink flowers are in terrific shape. This doll is in beautiful unplayed with condition with no issues to report. She has a lovely even skin tone and her cheeks are highly blushed. Her wig is shiny and nice and tight to her head. Lastly her body is free of stains and cracks and she still walks. I will say her stringing is a little loose but I didnt want to change it because she was still in the box. However I will be happy to restring her for her new owner if they would like me to before I send her out. Her bloomers are in great shape and her black fuzzy bottom shoes are in also in excellent condition. Her box shows normal wear and tear but it is correctly marked tosca. Lastly she retains her original Alexander Kins arm tag which does show some wear. All together she is such a beautiful doll in fantastic condition! . This is one beautiful strung Alexander kins doll. This doll has the most beautiful hair and skin tone. Her hair is bright. Fiery red, with lots of shine and it is nice and tight to her head. Her overall skin tone is a beautiful and has a nice peachy undertone that you usually do not see. Her facial coloring is bright and beautiful. The only tiny flaw is one pin dot of color loss on her right cheek which is so hard to see but I did want to mention it.
