Up for your Cissy enjoyment is this Beautiful girl from 1961. She has a gorgeous red wig and beautiful big green blue eyes. She has big red luscious lips that are her original lips. I do want to mention she has a large scratch that Ive tried to take a picture of right between her eyebrows. I dont think it takes away from her you dont really see it unless youre right next to her and even then its kind of hard to see. She has one piece arms as it was common in 1961. She does have a crack On her left leg At her knee But she wears clothes beautifully and shes been excellent model to wear anything you may have for her. Additionally, her chest area has become very paleI have tried to take pictures for you to see. There is some very small pale areas on her legs but its hardly noticeable. These dolls have been termed the no neck dolls but I have found if you tilt her head down a bit she looks amaze balls! Shes always been a great model And looks absolutely gorgeous in anything she wears. Her hair is extraordinarily beautiful! She is looking for a new home and I hope its yours. We are pleased to present… “Queen Elizabeth” II, British Coronation doll. E II R Absolutely beautiful, hard plastic, (and vinyl over-sleeve arms) 21 inch tall , Cissy, “Queen Elizabeth” coronation portrait doll , circa 1950s, (#2281) by Madame Alexander is getting quite difficult to find. She has beautiful, light brown hair in the original set with thick curls and has lovely blue, clear sleep eyes, perfect eyelashes, closed mouth and pierced ears. Her hard plastic body has the vinyl over-sleeve arms with joints at the elbows, shoulders, hips and knees as well as high-heel shaped feet and pink touches to knees. She wears her tagged: Cissy/Madame Alexander, long gold brocade , taffeta lined, Court gown with bustle train back, attached, “Order of the Garter” long blue sash with rhinestones, studded stones and pearls as well as her original lace trimmed taffeta panties, seamed long nylon stockings , satin high-heeled shoes, long gloves and three original, stone studded bracelets and original ring. She needs petticoat and earrings. She wears a silver and rhinestone (replaced) crown similar to the one on page 53, Mme. Alexander Dolls 3rd edition-Mandeville. Her gown is crisp and clean although it shows a few age stains which can be dry cleaned as it’s been in storage. She has no cracks or breaks, no missing eyelashes, no fading or other marks and no odors as she is from a smoke free home. “Prince Philip” doll is not included and will be listed separately. Up for your consideration–A very nice vintage 1950′s 20 inch jointed Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has lovely red hair, working sleep eyes, pale face, red lips. All fingers are accounted for, one with a ring! Full upper lashes on her eyes. She is dressed in a lovely very detailed green unmarked (could be original) dress, green shoes, original teddy, plus she comes with a black unmarked nightgown with matching robe, that could also be original and white shoes. She has her original box and some of the original pink tissue paper, all shows wear. The box has been shrink wrapped for protection. Very nice doll, lovely darling for your collection. Lovely Vintage Madame Alexander redhead Cissy with tagged outfit. I will start by saying I know very little about vintage MA Cissy, so please feel free to ask questions as I may overlook something of importance. The doll is in very nice, played with condition. First, the doll is very clean with no odors. The body is a healthy peach color with blushing on the hands and knees. Body seems to be tightly strung, but the head is a little loose and doesn’t want to stay in position when moved. I do see a small split on her left leg at the knee, but I do not see any other splits. The body does have some very, very faint marks on the back of her calves. Her lovely red hair is in it’s original set with lots of curls and hardly any flyaway hair. The face does look a bit more yellow than the body. Her blue/green eyes open and close properly. Cissy retains lots of blush on her cheeks. The lips are a salmon color and full with no missing color. I do see a pin dot mark near her nose and another pin dot mark on her left cheek. These marks are very small and hard to see. Cissy does have a few light scratches on her left eyelid. I see no missing eyelashes. The top of her outfit is faded, but clean. I see no issues with the skirt marks, rips, stains, etc. The petticoat seems to be really big on Cissy, put her panties fit well with no noticeable issues. The stockings are rip free and stay up nicely. Such a pretty Cissy who needs a suitable wardrobe and some attention! From a smoke free home. Super nice 13″ MADAME ALEXANDER “JANE WITHERS closed mouth composition doll. This little gem is in exceptional condition for a composition doll. Under magnification she has some minor crazing on her right arm inside elbow and some slight craze on her left lower leg. Looks like she bonked her nose tiny nick under magnifier and her upper lip has a teeny tiny nick and craze line. Black line on side of nose is a mark not a craze. Her face is beautiful. Small nick on one finger and one toe. Her little hands show flesh color wear on fingertips. Her eyes are brown. They open and close well. Her hair is a wine color and is a bit wild. I believe her clothes and shoes are original. Dress on the top has a few pulls in the gauze and shows yellowing. Socks inside the shoes has staining. The elastic on on her undies has lost its stretch. Slip is attached to dress and is good. Her painted eyebrows and lower painted lashes show wear. One eyebrow is almost gone. Be sure to scroll down to see all the pictures. Here is Cissy wearing outfit #2141 from 1957. The doll’s rosy cheeks and coloring is all original. The top of her hair is still in original set with metal band. The bottom of her hair needs restyling. Her eyes open and close fine and she has all her eyelashes. She does not have any seam splits on legs, body or head. She does have two cracks in the middle of her back. I can’t image how they got there. You can see these in the photo. I did reinforce them with clear glue so they should not travel any further and be stable. You don’t see them anyway under the clothes. Her navy taffeta dress is still crisp and nice. It may have a little dust at the waistline folds. Snaps are tight and it is tagged. The organdy cape is nice with no stains. The correct watch is still attached to the waist. The elastic in her lace slip has loosened and I pinned it. Her underpants elastic is tight. The hat flowers maybe a little crushed and it is missing a few of the little buds. Listed for sale is a lovely antique original Madame Alexander doll, made circa 1930s. This doll stands 19 and is marked on her neck Madame Alexander. Her character is Princess Elizabeth a very popular child figure for the 1930s and eventually becoming Queen Elizabeth.
