This is a beautiful 9 Madame Alexander Cissette Doll in a lovely Cissette Ballerina Outfit. She has her original blonde triple stitched Wig with loads of curls. Beautiful Bright Face coloring with blue green Eyes that open and close easily with pearl earrings. Her Body is in excellent condition and tightly strung. I do see 2 mended lines on her neck. Both Knees bend fine. Cissette is wearing a wonderful tagged Cissette ballet Dress with snap and ribbon tie in the back. One tiny pin hole in the netting. Lovely Vintage Madame Alexander redhead Cissy with tagged outfit. I will start by saying I know very little about vintage MA Cissy, so please feel free to ask questions as I may overlook something of importance. The doll is in very nice, played with condition. First, the doll is very clean with no odors. The body is a healthy peach color with blushing on the hands and knees. Body seems to be tightly strung, but the head is a little loose and doesn’t want to stay in position when moved. I do see a small split on her left leg at the knee, but I do not see any other splits. The body does have some very, very faint marks on the back of her calves. Her lovely red hair is in it’s original set with lots of curls and hardly any flyaway hair. The face does look a bit more yellow than the body. Her blue/green eyes open and close properly. Cissy retains lots of blush on her cheeks. The lips are a salmon color and full with no missing color. I do see a pin dot mark near her nose and another pin dot mark on her left cheek. These marks are very small and hard to see. Cissy does have a few light scratches on her left eyelid. I see no missing eyelashes. The top of her outfit is faded, but clean. I see no issues with the skirt marks, rips, stains, etc. The petticoat seems to be really big on Cissy, put her panties fit well with no noticeable issues. The stockings are rip free and stay up nicely. Such a pretty Cissy who needs a suitable wardrobe and some attention! From a smoke free home. MADAME ALEXANDER Cissy doll in her 1956 Shopping outfit. I have seen this doll in this outfit referred to as Cissy shopping on Worth Avenue too. No tears, stains or odors with her gold waistband on her pants a little stretched. Blouse is perfect and the correct yellow waffle fabric (no tag). Shoe elastic may have been replaced but shoes do have the hollowed out heels. I do believe the nylons were replaced at some time. Until now I have never undressed this doll as I do not like undressing them, but needed to check for splits and I did find one on each upper leg which are hidden inside the torso. Please refer to photos. Her hat is secured to her head with the original medium green velvet tie. A matching green necklace and tiny green bracelet do come with her, but they were adding at some point. Her hair is ion its original hair set for the most part. I do see one weakened curl in the back, but not to worry as this is hidden under her hat. Her face does have some very soft cheek coloring along with eye shadow. There are a couple maybe two eyelashes missing, very minor. FYI the split on her upper right leg is just a hair line and is not open. Now I have meticulously described this doll as honestly as I can, but as you can see she is a wonderful doll in her original very hard to find complete outfit. No international orders please. For Sale 25 1955 Madame Alexander Cissy faced Binnie walker doll in tagged formal gown with original stockings, shoes and panties, come with the original tagged gaberdine coat. The gown has a 1/2 cut hidden in a fold. I don’t see any splits, cracks or other damage on the doll. Only the doll and outfit including gaberdine coat are included. For Easter, a gorgeous LE Modern Cissy doll, number 135 of 350 (see photo) redressed in a OOAK handmade pink dotted Swiss walking suit with matching full length skirt with train, flounced bustle jacket, shoulder shawl with ribbon trim and ties, and parasol. This doll stands 21 inches tall. She is the modern Cissy with twist waist, exquisite grey radial eyes and fabulous eye make-up , rosy cheeks, red lips and wonderful blonde updo hair in a riot of tight curls on the top of her head. She has the number of her edition on the back of her waist — she is number 135 of the 350 of this particular doll made. The fitted jacket features elbow length sleeves trimmed in lace , tiny round ball glass buttons all down the front (with hidden snaps beneath to close the fitted jacket), lace trim all way round the wonderful bustle at the hips, with long trailing pieces down the back. The A line skirt fits her fabulously well — snaps at the waist and has a long floor length train that processes behind her as she walks. The skirt is slightly higher in the front for ease of walking. Her beautiful pink satin high heel shoes with clear heels can be seen peeking out beneath her skirt. I have added a very full vintage, tiered ruffled slip edged in chiffon to give fullness to her skirt. She has light pink seamed thigh high hose and handmade beige lace panties with a tiny rosette. She wears a handmade period bra and that fastens with three tiny hooks and eyes and has white satin straps; see photo. She wears faux pink pearl drop earrings and a vintage necklace with a pink celluloid rose cameo over a metal religious medal base. The chain necklace fastens easily around her neck with a magnetic clasp! I have added this amazing RICHARD ORIGINAL pink fascinator hat to this gorgeous doll, as her crowning glory. It fits her head perfectly. The black elastic holds the hat in place on her cascading blonde curls. It is a wonderful hat, with dotted tulle that struts, blush rose peach pink chrysanthemums and rhinestones. The cape I put around her shoulders was the original hat that came with the outfit, but I prefer the gorgeous fussy hat by RICHARD, so put this other hat around her shoulders like a shoulder cape — and tied it snug under her beautiful bosoms to highlight her elegant figure. This lovely doll would make a wonderful addition to your collection or be a fabulous Easter gift. My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE. No props in the photos are included in this listing.
