Alexander-Kins Alex Wendy Quiz Kin Doll Straight Leg Non Walker 1953. 7 1/2 Alexander-Kins Wendy Quiz-Kin Redhead Doll from 1953. MA only made Quiz-kins in 1953. Back is marked ALEX. Straight leg non-walker, her legs move nicely, She has been restrung. There are two push buttons on her back. The top button moves her head up & down, the bottom button moves her head from side to side, she is a yes no doll. Works perfectly (see video). Red hair in the original curly flip style of the 50′s with a faux floral headband. Early heavier body with just a few scratches and aged related fading (see pictures closely). Blue sleep eyes with molded lashes, painted lower lashes & brows. Eyes sometimes need manual help (see video). Heart shaped cherry red mouth and blushed cheeks. MA tagged pink organdy dress wraps around her waist and ties in the back. One little tear on her dress hem (see pics) and a very light stain. Off white suedette side snap shoes and off white socks. She is clean smelling. A darling early Wendy Quiz-Kins to add to your collection. Smoke free pet free home. Very Beautiful Madame Alexander redhead doll to use as a model or for display. Nice cheek, blush, light, blue eyes, full lashes, nice reddish wig with the original spacer bar, pierced ears, good hand and knee blush, has a mark on one hand, no upper thigh or knee splits. Nice doll, good for use as a model. Her face is low color, but she does have nice light blue greenish eyes. She has full lashes but very light eyebrows. She could use a makeover. She has a very full short, original red bob wig with nice curls. Her body is in very good condition with no splits or cracks. Her body retains a nice color but has no blush. She has a few rubs and a small scratch on her lower back.

This was my childhood baby doll, which I received new in the 1960s. As I have no children to leave her to, she needs a new home. She is marked on the back “MME ALEXANDER” for Madame Alexander. Her head is marked “ALEXANDER”. Her clothes are original. Her slip has a label that says “Elise” (see photo); however, as she looks like the larger (15) Maggie Mixup doll, it seems maybe only her body is the Elise design. She may be model #1812, a somewhat rare doll, especially with original clothing. Details: Light complexion with shiny, straight red-orange hair. Gorgeous, intense green eyes that open and close easily. Painted upper and lower lashes, as well as hair upper lashes. Painted feather brows and freckles below her eyes. Hard plastic body and legs. Arms appear to be rubber. Jointed limbs: head, arms, elbows, knees and feet move. Doll comes with clothing only–no stand, box, jewelry, or tags. Measures about 15 inches long. Condition: Good overall with caveats. Her face and body appear undamaged. She had slippers originally, but these are the only clothes items remaining: Nightgown, cape, slip, and panties. Slip has had one strap stretched and one snap is missing on back that resulted in a small hole (the only one noted). Clothing is a slightly faded and fragile. Lining of gown has threads showing at bottom. Clothing overall needs TLC. She is posable but cannot stay in position on her own without support. Few smudges that may clean off. Few small black marks in left palm. Looks like a slight original mold/cast mark at the edge of her right knee. From smoke free home.

Vintage 1957 Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Redhead wig, in original style. Tagged pink and white stripped dress/ minty condition with crisp tag. Fabulous vintage hat with pink silk flowers. Madame Alexander black strappy high heels. Taffeta full petticoat and panties. STAND IS NOT INCLUDED. Presented here is a stunning vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Her red hair is in the original style. Sparkling blue-green eyes, thick hair lashes, painted under lashes. She has a gorgeous glowing face, lovely. Coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears with pearl. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. Good strings, she holds a pose well. She is wearing her original Cissy tagged dress; pink and white stripe cotton with full circle skirt, black velvet bow at the neck, buttons in the front and a black satin sash. No damage to the clothing; clean, sturdy, no stains, no tears, no orders, very crisp body, minty, crisp tag. Underneath she wears a full taffeta petticoat with tulle ruffle and taffeta panties, plus original back seamed stockings (a few mends in the stockings only). Her hat is vintage, laden with pink silk and velvet flowers, it has a milk-glass tip hat pin, absolutely fabulous. Cissy carries a vintage genuine Madame Alexander hat box. The shoes are strappy high heels with metallic gold heels and black flocked straps. Her hair has only few hairs out of place since always wearing her cute and Rare open top straw hat with velvet coral ribbon to match this Very Rare Coral Red Bird Print Dress. This dress was never advertised and have been found in several colors with the “Coral Red being the Rarest”. This TAGGED Dress still has vivid color and sheen to the chintz fabric with a very beautiful complex bird print.

Underneath she has a full taffeta petticoat with net ruffles and taffeta panties, nylon stockings with back seams. The clothing is in excellent condition, clean, sturdy, no stains, no tears. The shoes are black strappy. High heels with rhinestone accents on the toes. The hat is fabulous, it has a wired base covered with green velvet, laden with velvet and silk florals in soft mauve, pink and tan tones, accented with a doted veil. Vintage 1957Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Red hair, triple stitched part. Wearing tagged toreador pant set with rare yellow top and belt. Pillbox hat with velvet flowers and veil. Black velvet high heels shoes. Pearl drop earrings and necklace. Presented here is a fabulous 1957 Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has red hair. With a trople stitched part wig, still in the most of the original lovely curls, smooth with a nice sheen. The blue eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, original high coloring. She has pierced ears with pearl drop. Earrings and wired necklace. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. She is wearing the original tagged toreador pant set, black velvet pants with yellow shirt and yellow taffeta belt. Both the pants and top are tagged, excellent vintage condition, clean, sturdy, no stains, no tears. The set with yellow is very rare, this is usually seen with a lace jacket and pink belt. Her high heel shoes are black velvet, clear heels. The yellow pillbox hat is adorned with flocked flowers, it has yellow-green veil and a hat pin. Fabulous, hard to find outfit, stunning doll! Up for sale is a Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Doll. Cissy is 20 tall, made of hard plastic with vinyl sleeved arms. She has red hair, crystal blue eyes, lightly blushed cheeks, red lips, and blushed hands and knees. She has no cracks or splits. I love dressing Cissy. She is wearing a lovely navy blue Swiss dot sundress with lace trim, satin sash and removable flowers by the talented Jean Reeves of Primrosedollshoppe. Beautiful un-tagged hat and purse (Jean just let me know that she made the hat and purse also), shoes by elfcrafters, petticoat by Dreams by Natalie and seamed stockings and panties. She also wears a faux pearl necklace. She has a few minor issues: some rubs around her upper legs and neck, a spike haircut on the top of her head, which doesn’t show when she is wearing a hat, and some missing rubber at the top of her right arm which is pictured. For your consideration is a beautiful Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy. Her auburn hair is in the original setting. Are a pretty blue with full lashes which open and close as they should. Her stringing is very good. Has no flaws that I can. See just a beautiful doll. Cissy is wearing one of the Navy Polka Dot dresses, tagged, from 1958. It is made from polished cotton with white cuffs, and to my knowledge, has never been washed as the fabric is very crisp and retains a beautiful sheen. The last picture is taken from. Her panties and shoes are made by Madame Alexander. She wears a vintage slip made of flocked material. Her hat was made from all vintage material as a replica of the original. Her jewelry, pearl necklace, pearl earrings and gold diamond ring were added. I try to describe as accurately as possible but may leave something out please look at the pictures carefully. The most important part of the description. Remember, this is a vintage doll over 50 plus years old. Perfection, as a new doll would.
