My dolls are all around 50-80 years old. I consider them TLC and some are in better condition than others. I try to mention anything I see, but please read the description and look at the pictures. For Sale Gorgeous 20 1955 Madame Alexander Cissy doll in TLC Hard to Find Gown from 1956 in Satin with Side drape. The doll is in very good condition with very few issues. She has a minor hip split up high, which you need to pull the leg out to see. Otherwise no cracks or other splits. Her arms are a little splotchy. The dress is laundered and has a few rough spots. The original Beaded loop at the bust was replaced by a decorative pin. The coronet is original Madame Alexander tho not original to this outfit. She has no shoes, stockings slip or panties. The doll is in great shape as you can see in the photos. This 20″ Cissy is style #2094 from the 1955 collection of Madame Alexander dolls called “A Child’s Dream Comes True. ” She is described in the catalogue as wearing “a breathtaking gown of heavy champagne slipper satin. Her muff of matching nylon tulle is decorated with ruby red roses. Her necklace and earrings of rhinestones and topaz. (note that she is missing her earrings) Beneath the gown, she has a champagne yellow hoop petticoat and matching panties, hose and high heel shoes. This doll is hard to find, especially to find her with necklace, muff, tagged dress, hose and shoes! Her hair and coloring are excellent and her sleepy eyes close when horizontal. While she displays beautifully for a 63 year old lady. I want to describe as much as I can. She would be the perfect candidate for a Cissy spa to spruce her up to museum quality! She has some flaws which I want to point out. She is missing her. Earrings, her gown has a few stains that need attention, Her Petticoat is in the roughest shape with holes and the hoop is way out of shape due to storing her flat for years. Her dress is tagged and her petticoat elastic is still strong enough to hold it up well. I have added many photos. But will send you more if there is something that you would like to see. I would like her to find a new home where she can get the care and attention she needs. She will be double boxed for ultimate protection and insured up to the the sale price. This is a very nice 1957 Madame Alexander Simple Satin Ballerina Elise doll. She wears her original tagged tutu of satin and tulle with abundant underlayers of tulle for rich fullness. There may be a few tiny holes in the tulle but if they are there, they don’t show amid all the layers. Beneath the tutu ruffles is the satin panty section. Elise wears her flower trimmed headpiece in her hair. Matching original flower swag on her tutu bodice. The flowers could use a quick steaming to reform them because they are a bit flattened from storage. Pink pantyhose with no runs and pink ribbon trimmed pink slippers. Slippers are a little dirty so could use a wipe down. No seam splits on the doll. Pretty clear blue eyes, shiny blonde hair, and round pearl earrings. Not mint but yet very nice vintage Elise doll. Welcome to my auctions! She is dressed in a later Madame Alexander tagged pink satin gown with long pink slip. Her white “fur” stole is newer, but nicely done with pink satin lining. I added the spray of flowers to her waistline. She has pink undies, new tight nylons and silver high heeled shoes. Her hair is perfect in blond, off the face style, but has some glue residue on the back of her head that happened when she was made at the factory. She has a lovely face, full lashes, peach eye lids, brows, blush and red lips. She has no cracks and is clean with no odors. She also has blush on her hands and knees. From smoke free home. This is the “Child’s Dream Comes True” series. Her dress, crinoline, panties, stockings and floral crown are original. I have added flowers from a 1956 Alexander hat to fill in her floral crown. I made her silver bracelet and her fan from a vintage jewelry finding. She wears vintage shoes that have had the elastic replaced. She wears a vintage “diamond” ring and I have replaced her missing “diamond” earrings. She will come with a replica of the 1955 Alexander tag. The dress is in very good shape, just some small rubs to the fabric. Elastic is stretched on her panties. Elastic has been replaced on her crinoline. Floral crown is faded but lovely. No stains on her clothing at all. Three rhinestones on her dress have darkened with age. The doll herself is in very good condition. Lashes are full and perfect. Hair still in hairnet with metal bar. Tiny scratches on her left upper thigh below the joint as shown. No splits or cracks at all. Ask any questions you may have. This is a wonderful example of this doll! Here, for your consideration is one absolutely gorgeous Madame Alexander 1957 Cissy doll, in her original outfit. This Cissy is beautiful! Her face paint is vivid, her eyes are blue and have all their lashes. Her rosy cheeks are lovely. I see no cracks anywhere. Her body coloring is even. I picked the ones I thought would give you a good view of her. Cissy is dressed in her original Bridal outfit named “Satin Train” from 1957. This wedding gown shows off a full gathered tulle skirt. The satin bodice is decorated with a thick trim accented with silver threads. A pleated Satin train cascades in the back of the dress. She also wears a chapel length veil with a coronet of flowers. She wears an under slip, which the elastic has stretched out and is pinned to hold it up. Her high heel shoes are in a plastic bag and will come with her. They look to be in good condition. Cissy is wearing her original pearl earrings, but on one side, the little teardrop is missing. She is wearing a pearl necklace and I believe it to be original to her. Her beautiful little head seems to be a little loose, but is attached. I just noticed, in the first nude picture, her hair seems to be parted a little and you can see that in the pictures.
