This is a 15″ Madame Alexander Disney “SLEEPING BEAUTY Elise style doll from 1959. She is the smaller version of the 1959 Disney 21 SLEEPING BEAUTY Cissy style doll. This doll is in excellent condition. She has high cheek color with gorgeous lips and blue eyes… Her lashes appear to be fine. Her golden yellow hair is still in original set with few flyaways. Her joints work properly and she has no cracks or splits in her body. Her body has a pretty uniform pink tone. She has her ring on finger. Doll does not look like she has been played with and has no offensive odors. She has been displayed in my glass doll cabinet for a while. Gorgeous Unique face made for one year only, long curly blonde hair with curly bang, full brush eyelashes, refreshed eyebrows, pink cheeks, rose pink lips, jointed Elise body, no unpleasant odors, nicely strung and able to pose and she is Special and Definitely the Most Charming Doll!! This listing is for the beautiful Sleeping Beauty doll in her original box with tissue paper! Only issued in 1959 and rarely found in this 20 size. I have decided to part with her as I just haven’t been able to display her as she deserves. Sleeping Beauty is in beautiful un-played with condition. Her outfit is in excellent condition and I believe retains all the original accessories! Doll is stunning, beautiful facial coloring. Clear eyes, clean body with no cracks or splits that I can see. (I will not remove her clothing as I do not think it’s ever been removed) Her stringing is good, arms are the one piece type, not jointed at the elbows. Her hair is bright and maintains it’s original set beautifully! The heavy slipper satin dress has begun the fading process which happens to these dolls but the affect is actually kind of pretty! I do not see any issues or markings on the dress. She has her full slip underneath as seen. Original crown has been wrapped in it’s own tissue paper and appears to be mint. Necklace and ring are original and I assume have never been removed. Her beautiful lace cape is present and i don’t think it’s ever been removed either as the tie under the chin is solid and does not look to have been altered or undone. Stockings and gold heels are present and minty. Tissue paper pieces include bottom box layer, a small wadded section which acts as a pillow for her head, the piece which protects the crown, and 2 folded sheets which cover the entire top of the doll. Original cardboard insert is also present. Box shows aging and wear. Several of the corners along the bottom are split but the upward corners appear to be sturdy as they don’t collapse or buckle. Lid is missing one side lip as seen. Original sticker on box is stamped SLEEPING BEAUTY. Original wrist tag still attached to wrist. It is foiled on one side as seen.. Both sides are quite beautiful!
