Happy New Year, Maggie! This could be your lucky year! Say hello to the most gorgeous Maggie on the planet of course that’s just MY opinion – she is my most favorite Maggie EVER! This 18 beauty is wearing her original dress, a beautiful off-white front-pleated shirt-waist with three burgundy studs down the front placket, & two at the cuff of each puffed sleeve. One stud is missing on the back of the right sleeve. Maggie’s pretty belt is replaced with the same color as the original, and the original crocheted hanky peeks out from the front pocket. Dress closure is at the back with three square snaps. This dress has some very, very slight age darkening, but as you can see by the photos it’s close to invisible. There are no rips, holes or tears and the dress is crisply tagged Maggie. Underneath Maggie wears nylon panties, and on her feet are her original socks & shoes. There is a hole in the heel of the right sock – completely inside her shoe. Maggie has an exquisite face… Her features & coloring are beautiful; her blush has been refreshed. She has a very rare colored wig – brunette with a splash of burgundy… Which of course matches her dress accessories! Her eyes have full lashes and are gorgeous clear “Maggie blue-green, ” another nod to a perfect pairing with her pretty face-framing curls. She has no splits, cracks or odors. This doll is so cute! She has wonderful high color that is all original. Her cheeks are brightly colored, she has beautiful red lips, dark eyelashes and brows. Her hair is a Tosca triple stitch with what I believe to be original side bunches and bows. This is exactly how she came to me and the bows look factory tied to me. She wears a lovely pair of Alexander kins bloomers with nice original stretch. Lastly her body is in great condition with no stains or cracks. Simply gorgeous, she has fabulous face paint, with high color cheeks, ruby lips, and flutter sleep eyes. Her dark blonde wig is triple stitched and. In the original set, a bit flattened in the back from a hat, or perhaps laying in a box. Wendy’s heavy hard plastic body has no splits, cracks, or chew marks. She is evenly colored, nicely strung, and will hold a pose. One arm stays up better than the other. She will be fun to dress! This Kins is just beautiful with lovely overall coloring and pretty all original bright facial coloring. She has a beautiful blonde triple stitch wig in the original set topped with an original pink bow to match her dress. She does have one little rub on her face that is hard to see in the pictures but is there so I wanted to mention it. It does not in anyway distract from her beauty. She comes wearing a beautiful pink taffeta dress that is in excellent condition. The dress has no stains, tears, holes or odors. The color of the dress is a beautiful pink with nice white lace trim. Under her dress she has on a beautiful organdy slipand a matching pair of pink tafetta bloomers. The elastic at the waist of both items is nice and tight. She comes with white top stitch side snap shoes that are in very good condition. All together this is such a lovely early Alexander Kins that is sure to please. Beautiful Strung Alexanderkins in perfect condition. Her so very RARE outfit is complete down to the little basket of flowers. To her wrist with original. And her so hard to find dark blue top stitch shoes. Dress, pinafore, panties, hat, shoes and socks all excellent. It does have the label. She is a strung yes no genius doll. Just Exactly How Cute Can One Maggie Get? Pretty cute, according to THIS little gal. She’s wearing her tagged 2 piece cotton floral skirt & white organdy blouse. Rhinestones are sprinkled on the waistband & front of the snap-closure skirt, and the tagged blouse has lace-trimmed puffed sleeves & closes at the back with two buttons. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no holes, rips or tears. This near mint ensemble has velvet trim to match her tam, buttons at the front and appears to have never been on a doll until these pictures were taken. Underneath Maggie wears cotton panties with lace trim, and on her feet are her original socks & center snap black shoes. Maggie is beautiful, with lovely features & coloring. This 8 strung Madame Alexander doll is from the early 1950′s. She’s been very gently played with. Hair is in its original set, bit mussed. Body is fine but does have a few dark spots by ankles probably from the black shoes she wore. She’s well strung and a type of heavier doll made in the early days. Her makeup is fine and eyes open and close easily. She comes with her original black side snap shoes (snaps are working). The clothes are not tagged and in played with shape. She has lovely bright facial painting with rosy cheeks, full lips, and nice brown eyelashes and brows. Her body is free of stains or cracks and she has a lovely even skin tone. She is tightly strung and can stand freely without a stand. She comes wearing organdy bloomers that in in very good condition. She is in excellent condition. She is an early strung doll. Included is her original box and hard to find hang tag. Her dress is a bit soiled from storage. I must also note that her panties and slip have a stain from a metal stand she was stored with. She is tightly strung and can hold a pose. She is missing her original shoes.
