Welcome to my auctions! She is 20 tall with hard plastic body and soft vinyl jointed arms. Her knees are also jointed for posing. Her dress is made of a vintage blue polished cotton with design of pink rosebuds, with drop waist and puffed sleeves. It is a lovely fabric with nice sheen and fullness. A copy of one of Cissy’s original dresses. There are 5 square snaps that close her dress in back. Under the dress is a taffeta nylon half slip with matching undies. The dress and slip/undies were made by several seamstress friends that are highly talented. She has nice tight nylons and lovely, newer blue high heel Cissy shoes. She carries a white straw bag with pink velvet rose and matches her white horsehair hat, made by Richards Originals.. I have embellished the hat with a large pink velvet rose and sprigs of tiny blue flowers. Her jewelry is a signature rhinestone bracelet and matching rhinestone stud earrings. A pair of pink nylon Cissy gloves completes her outfit. Cissy herself is stunning. She has been to the spa for a refreshing and has a flawless face…….. Nice cheek color, one stroke brows, full lashes and full red mouth. Her eyes are a deep blue color. Her hair is a deep honey blond and the hair is pulled up on each side and made into one large curl. The hair is pulled back from the front into a cluster of curls at the back of her neck. Her hair looks more red in my pictures, as my camera can’t seem to get it right. The doll has no problems, no cracks and clean condition. A lovely doll and gorgeous outfit! From smoke free home. The dress is accented with a “Richard Original” hat and purse. The pretty hat is adorned with cherries that compliments the cherry pattern in the dress fabric. What a sweet summer outfit for Cissy. To complete the ensemble the doll will arrive wearing vintage white Cissy heels accented with red rhinestones, vintage Madame Alexander taffeta Cissy panties in excellent condition no holes, replaced stockings no holes, also her red bead necklace and earrings, and a faux ruby gold tone ring. The doll herself is also in excellent condition. She is well strung and holds a pose. Her beautiful blue eyes have all of their original thick lashes. Her face is lovely with original blush and rosy lips. The only flaw the doll has is a small hip split high up on the inside of her right leg. The picture makes it look much larger than it is, and it doesn’t show when the doll is posed normally, as shown in the last photo. Thank you for looking at this beautiful doll. Here for sale is a Madame Alexander Peggy Bride hard plastic, Margaret faced, 18 doll, she is stunning and pose beautifully! Her face has beautiful color, eyelashes are full, eyes working and her hair is in original set with the matching vintage flowers as the ones she hold. Her dress is really hard to find in this good condition with few tiny holes on her shoulder and light water marks. Her underskirt has some staining due to her age, but is hiding underneath. This is a Stunning Madame Alexander Cissette Doll in #916 tagged crisp version of the Navy Blue Taffeta Dress. She has high color to her cheeks. In her book Cissette A Complete Guide to the Madame Alexander Dolls by Marjorie E Merrod M. She states that this dress is a variation with the blue and white sheer blue and white dotted organdy puff sleeves, sash and pleated back inset. The organdy has not aged in color as viewed in person. The tagged taffeta dress is in super crisp clean excellent condition. Cissette is a 9 inch hard plastic doll in very clean condition. She is also wearing her basic clean and pristine chemise under the dress. Her hard plastic torso has pink color transfer front and back (below the waist). She is also wearing red elastic high heels and small rhinestone earrings. Her hard plastic body is super clean with tight joints, Her arms hold a pose and her medium blond zig zag stitched wig is absolutely beautiful. It is in the original very very shiny set with long curls to the nape of her neck. She has high color to her cheeks, peach eyelids, pink nail polish, full face paint and coral pink lips. Smoke and pet free. Additional: The color transfer, particularly red/pink, is usually from something she once wore. At the time this doll was produced, red dyes were very unstable, not like today. If you laundered an article of red clothing with your “whites”, you would have pink whites at the end. So she wore something red at one point in her life. This is a stunning vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissy doll in her original box. Cissy stands 20 inches tall and wears her original tagged lingerie, nylons with back seam, and flower embellished pink heels. Her hair is in the original set with a bow at the back. Cissy has stunning turquoise blue eyes and beautiful face paint. There is a small scuff on one cheek. Please see the photos. Her original box shows wear. The top is taped and the corners of the lid are broken. Issues to note on the doll: the scuff on the cheek as mentioned above, one arm is a bit loose as if the elastic has lost some of its stretch, and there is an area with a bit of a pink tint to the back and top of the hair. Possibly from laying against something pink or red. This is light and hard to see, I have tried to capture it in the photos. She has some missing lashes on one eye.
