Original 1950s Madame Alexander Cissy Faded Blue or Pink Ball Gown with Fur stole. Dress has a lot of discolorations, but still very beautiful for a 60 year old gown. Dress has a loose stitch under one arm hole. Not a rip, just missing stitches. Dress has original tag. Comes with blue formal slip. My dolls are all around 50-80 years old. I consider them TLC and some are in better condition than others. I try to mention anything I see, but please read the description and look at the pictures. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Original tagged Cissy blue taffeta dress. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched auburn red wig in curls with bangs, the hair is swept up on the top with tight curls and long curls down the back. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and closes with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, ears are not pierced. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing her original tagged blue taffeta dress with full circle skirt. Underneath is a hard to find taffeta hoop skirt petticoat and cute nylon panties with lace insert and trim, she has blue plastic molded high heel shoes. Offered here is a gorgeous LE Modern Cissy doll, number 135 of 350 (see photo) redressed in a OOAK handmade pink dotted Swiss walking suit with matching full length skirt with train, flounced bustle jacket, shoulder shawl with ribbon trim and ties, and parasol. This doll stands 21 inches tall. She is the modern Cissy with twist waist, exquisite grey radial eyes and fabulous eye make-up , rosy cheeks, red lips and wonderful blonde updo hair in a riot of tight curls on the top of her head. She has the number of her edition on the back of her waist — she is number 135 of the 350 of this particular doll made. The fitted jacket features elbow length sleeves trimmed in lace , tiny round ball glass buttons all down the front (with hidden snaps beneath to close the fitted jacket), lace trim all way round the wonderful bustle at the hips, with long trailing pieces down the back. The A line skirt fits her fabulously well — snaps at the waist and has a long floor length train that processes behind her as she walks. The skirt is slightly higher in the front for ease of walking. Her beautiful pink satin high heel shoes with clear heels can be seen peeking out beneath her skirt. I have added a very full vintage, tiered ruffled slip edged in chiffon to give fullness to her skirt. She has light pink seamed thigh high hose and handmade beige lace panties with a tiny rosette. She wears a handmade period bra and that fastens with three tiny hooks and eyes and has white satin straps; see photo. She wears faux pink pearl drop earrings and a vintage necklace with a pink celluloid rose cameo over a metal religious medal base. The chain necklace fastens easily around her neck with a magnetic clasp! I have added this amazing RICHARD ORIGINAL pink fascinator hat to this gorgeous doll, as her crowning glory. It fits her head perfectly. The black elastic holds the hat in place on her cascading blonde curls. It is a wonderful hat, with dotted tulle that struts, blush rose peach pink chrysanthemums and rhinestones. The cape I put around her shoulders was the original hat that came with the outfit, but I prefer the gorgeous fussy hat by RICHARD, so put this other hat around her shoulders like a shoulder cape — and tied it snug under her beautiful bosoms to highlight her elegant figure. This lovely doll would make a wonderful addition to your collection or be a fabulous Easter gift. My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE. No props in the photos are included in this listing. 20 1950S Madame Alexander Hard Plastic Cissy Doll. This doll is 20 tall and is marked Alexander on the back of the head. The head is loose. The rubber band that is holding it in place is stretched out and cracked, but The head is still attached. The arms and legs are not loose and hold a pose. The cheeks have lost their color. Everything looks clean and nice and there are no splits or breaks in the plastic. The green sleep eyes work well and the eyelashes are present as well. The hair is mostly in its original set, but is a bit flat in the back. Her fingers are dirty, but it should clean off easily. The taffeta dress shes wearing also looks very nice, but it is missing a bouquet of flowers that pins onto the front, as well as a ribbon sash that goes around the waist. It it is a little bit wrinkled and has a couple of pinholes from where The bouquet was attached. Its also slightly dirty from storage. The pantyhose that she is wearing look really good but they have a couple of tiny holes in the toes. One of the shoes has one strap that has a broken adjustment peg. The other peg still works. Welcome to my auctions! She is 20 tall with hard plastic body and soft vinyl jointed arms. She has a beautiful face with full lashes, cheek color. Brows, clear eyes, underlashes and full red mouth. Face has a matte finish and most likely has been to a spa. Her hair is brunette, pulled back on each side and pulled to the back and is tied with a lilac ribbon. She has 3 rhinestone jewels accenting her hair. Her dress is made of lilac taffeta and is fully lined with organdy. This a copy of a Cissy dress, usually found in red. It was made by a very talented seamstress on E-Bay. Under the dress is a long white slip with long net trim. She is wearing tight new nylons and silver Cissy shoes. She also has a rhinestone bag and bracelet. Her head is a little loose, but holds a pose with no problem. Doll has no other problems and is ready to display. This is an original tagged vintage Madame Alexander Cissy dress from 1957. The dress is green taffeta with cotton polka dot sleeves, collar, and bow accent. Tagged Cissy inside the center back seam. All snaps are present and secure. No stains in taffeta, holes, or tears. The cotton sleeve and bow fabric does show spotted aging as is common on these dresses. Taffeta is nice and crisp. There is some crinkling to the taffeta fabric finish. The photos pick this up. Overall a very fresh looking lovely nice dress for your Cissy doll. Here’s a gorgeous and not often seen Madame Alexander Cissy Doll. She’s a 1961 Scarlett O’Hara Cissy from the Madame Alexander Portrait series. She comes wearing her original powder blue taffeta dress with jacket and matching bonnet. She has all of her original jewelry and accessories which include rhinestone earrings, rhinestone ring, rhinestone cameo necklace, rhinestone pocket watch pin, long black lace fingerless gloves and black velvet purse with sequins. She also comes with original panties and original petticoat/crinoline. Her high heel shoes and stockings are replacements. Her clothes are in very good condition. The only thing I see is a small stain at the top on the back of her panties near the elastic band and 2 tiny spots on the back of her skirt which are hidden in the folds of skirt. Hat and crinoline are in very nice condition. The tag is missing from her dress but it is an original outfit as seen in the last photo taken from the Cissy Files book, page 22. This doll has an enchanting face with beautiful complexion, blushed cheeks, and red lips. Her blue eyes open and close and all of her lashes are intact. Her pretty dark brown wig is in excellent condition and in its original style with upswept sides. She is a no-neck Cissy with the slender non-jointed arms. Her arms are strung perfectly, however, her head and legs are very loosely strung. Her body is in excellent condition except for a tiny crack at the very top of her right thigh which is hidden inside her torso. Her leg must be pulled out to see this. If you would like a picture of it please let me know. Her earrings were somewhat lose, therefore, I applied a little bit of glue to each post in order to secure them. Please note that in the nude picture of the doll there appears to be some darkness on her right leg. These are not marks. They are just shadows caused by the lighting and my camera. I have reddish blonde hair with my original Madame Alexander barrettes. I have no issues in my body and can hold a pose and stand on my own when wearing my shoes! I have lots of color in my face–blushed cheeks, rosy lips and a peachy color to my face and flesh. My wig is nicely set but could use a gentle brushing and some loving care to be as gorgeous as it could be! I’m worth it.
