Beautiful 1958 Madame Alexander Cissy lavender Sheath Dress with Overskirt and Hat. The outfit is complete with the dress, hat and overskirt. The dress has a lot of discoloration. The overskirt also has some marks, but shows beautifully. It is mostly lavender with some darker areas. It is still stunning in my opinion. It is a hard to Find outfit. The overdress has the bow with a snap. The tag is in the sheath dress. She comes with the shoes shown, which are very nice 50′s rhinestone heel studded. My dolls are all around 50-80 years old. I consider them TLC and some are in better condition than others. I try to mention anything I see, but please read the description and look at the pictures. Here is my high-color, red-haired Madame Alexander CISSY, from the early 1960′s. She stands 20 inches tall and has green eyes with full lashes. Her sleep eyes open and close. She is fully poseable, with jointed elbows and knees, and does NOT need to be restrung. She does not have any cracks, and only one pink “freckle” on the back of her left leg could be considered a stain. She has minor areas where skin color has been rubbed off. These are on the left side of her neck and at the top inside of both thighs. She was obviously some little girl’s favorite toy. But all in all she is in great shape for her 60+ years! She is being offered for sale with her tagged teddy, one pair of panties, one crinoline, two handmade dresses (one red plaid taffeta which I put her in at Christmas, and one mint green fabric which reminds me of “dotted swiss”), the gold high-heeled sandals, and the pearl necklace, all seen in the photos. Note: only the nude-colored teddy is vintage and tagged Cissy. The clothing is in like-new condition. This is an original vintage Madame Alexander Cissy tagged navy blue taffeta cocktail dress with its hard-to-find original stole and hat from 1957. As seen on page 51 of The Cissy Files by Kiley Shaw , this capped sleeve dress of navy blue taffeta is truly lovely. This tagged, little dress features a gathered bodice and a dropped waist. This cocktail ensemble is completed with a pleated organdy stole and a little gathered tulle confection of a hat. Both of these are original & are adorned with the signature Madame Alexander pink roses. Madame Alexander borrowed heavily from Christian Diors Spring 1956 Collection in Paris. At that time, Vogue Magazine reported that Dior presented a Cocktail Ensemble….. Silk taffeta, silk organza dress (see photos in the listing). This little cocktail ensemble a la Dior is in great condition. Along with the complete, original outfit you will receive a matching purse and a reproduction Cissy hang-tag. Your Cissy will be truly beautiful and ready for cocktails when she wears this charming outfit. Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. 20 hard plastic bent knee, jointed vinyl arms. Wearing pink and white stripe tagged dress. Pink taffeta slip, nylons, pink plastic high heels, girdle. Presented here is a beautiful 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She is 20 tall, hard plastic with bent knees and jointed vinyl arms, no splits, marked on the back of the head.. Lovely face with nice color, blue-green sleep eyes that open and close freely, think hair upper lashes, painted under lashes, double stroke brows, red mouth. Her hair is blonde, it may look reddish in some of the photos, it is a golden or honey blonde color, stitched part wig combed over to the side in front, lovely curls. The dress is adorable pink and white stripes with a fitted bodice. It buttons in the front and has two square snaps, elbow length puff sleeves with cuffs. Full circle skirt with nice body. The dress is tagged; Madame Alexander. Underneath is a pink taffeta slip with net ruffle and the cutest lace girdle, nylon stockings with seams. The shoes are generic pink plastic ones from the 50′s, one has a split on the side and repaired. The clothing is all in excellent vintage condition, minor age, no noticeable damage. Gorgeous Original Vintage Madame Alexander dark blonde. Cissy doll in 1959 Fancy Decor Queen outfit. The dress is tagged but the tag is faded. This is the earlier produced doll that still has the bending arms. The later dolls from this run had the. Strung Cissy’s with straight arms. She is in very good condition with only a couple of small stains on the dress and a dingy sash. She has the special wig with two bangs and a metal bar. Her wig is very full. Her slip is a ivory buckram material. No stockings with original panties and shoes. Her gloves have a few wear holes. Her crown is in very nice condition, specific to this outfit. She only has one bracelet, and a thin pearl necklace. No other jewelry present. Her body needs a good cleaning. She has one small split on one knee. My dolls are all around 50-80 years old. We offer for your consideration a lovely 14 unmarked Maggie doll with incredibly bright and unclouded eyes. Her eyes are highlighted with totally intact molded eyelashes, as well as individually painted lashes on the bottom and sides of her eyes. Her face, torso, and limbs are hard plastic with five pieces. She is well strung to pose beautifully, but her head and arms are somewhat loose. Her arms will not hold a pose. Her head does not droop, but her head and arms could someday soon need restringing. — Her body and limbs are exceptionally clean, undamaged, and free of issues, or blemishes. She is a sleep eye doll, and her eyes open and close easily. Her wig appears factory fresh, or close to it, with thick hair pulled back into lovely curls held by her original gold tone barrettes and gold lame bows on both sides. Her coloring is a matte suntanned appearance with lightly blushed cheeks and the prettiest and fullest lips. Her eyebrows are nicely defined. —She is a beauty from the original owner’s showcase. This doll was kept in the family of a vast doll collection from the 1930s through the 1970s. Her hair is full with no thinning areas. Her face, body, and limbs are close to flawless.
