Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander 20 Cissy Hard Plastic Doll Tagged Bride Outfit. This 1950s Cissy bride doll by Madame Alexander was given to me by my parents. She is about 20 tall. All hard plastic except vinyl arms below the elbows. She has been well kept. Her eyes do open but sometimes you have to help them open. She is missing a few eye lashes on left eye. She is in her original tagged bridal gown and she has never been undressed. Her shoes, stockings and veil are original as well. Note the band on her stocking (pic 9). I do not see any damage to her gown or stockings. There might be a little yellowing to the hem of her gown but it is very difficult for me to tell. Her veil, shoes, stockings, earrings and ring are all original to her. The stand is included. If you are a collector, this would be a great addition to your collection.
#1880 Binnie Ballerina MIB. Thus doll was also called Margo Ballerina. Binnie is perfection! She has never been on display and lives in her original box, poor girl, ever since her last ballet performed with Rudolph Nureyev. Her blonde saran hair is styled in a curly ponytail. Leftover wigs from her manufacture are believed to have been put on some Cissy dolls – I have two! She is splendid in her white satin and tulle tutu, embellished with red flowers and complemented by her red satin ballet slippers and the red ribbon on her ponytail. She wears opaque white tights and her white satin panties are attached to the tutu at the waist. Her tutu will never go “limp” as there are layers and layers of soft white tulle! She has the vinyl Cissy arms, which bend slightly at the elbow, and her legs bend at the knee. Her coloring is fresh and original, of course! Binnie wants to leap out of her box and dance into your?? ! Thank you for looking and please peruse my other listings if you have time!

Made from 1935-48, Madame’s twist-waist Wendy Ann doll is so appealing because of the diverse poses she is able to strike. I now have many of her in my collection – some with the molded hair and painted eyes, but mostly with the human hair wig. She is of composition and has one slightly-bent leg, and one out-stretched arm. Her blue dress with white polka dots and “white handkerchief” trimmed dress is pleated, and buttons at the back. I was surprised to find no tag on her dress, but I know it to be authentic MA, because I have seen it in pink s well. Beneath her dress, the wears a shoulder-to-knee lace-edged slip and matching undies in ivory cotton. Her smart little hat has its original blue grosgrain ribbon band, which matches the ribbon in her blonde human hair wig. I have added a few vintage flowers just under the brim. She has big brown eyes. She has some crazing on her composition, but I do not think it deters from her adorable charm. Her socks and shoes are looking very fresh. I have tried to provide photos of some of the life-like ways she can be posed. Please note that the white cat is not included in the listing. She just wandered into the photo-shoot, lol!
