This is the Large Sized Hall’s Lifetime Furniture Wood Armoire / Wardrobe produced in Chattanooga, Tennessee in the 1950s. Includes: Wardrobe with 2 drawers. Measurements: please see photos. Suitable for 16″ to 21″ dolls like Madame Alexander’s Cissy, Margaret, Maggie, Caroline, Kathy, Bitsey, Baby Genius, Elise, Marybel and Kelly. I could expand this list to include Miss Revlon and so many others but I don’t know them as well as I know Alexander Sizes. Condition Issues: Some surface scratches but very good condition. A few stains inside one drawer. Last photo shows the other furniture items. This furniture has enjoyed a lot of play and is not mint. 18 1950s Madame Alexander Very Rare Maggie Teenager In Pink Wardrobe and traveling Case. Maggie has her tagged bright coral pink pinafore in a patterned polka-dot Textured cotton, she has her crisp white tagged Sheer cotton striped blouse with three buttons down the back and decorative pearl accents down the front, puff sleeves and Peter Pan collar, Coral. Pink velvet bows for her hair, white cotton half slip with attached panties, satin with rose ribbon accents and Eyelet lace trim, Thigh high seamed stockings and black patent Mary Janes with buckles. Maggie is every bit a teenager! She has a black French poodle with leash she takes for walks, wearing her black velvet pedal pushers with pockets and decorative Jewel accents at her knees, snap in back, white taffeta blouse with lace accents down the Front and at the collar and cuffs, 3 buttons in front, Pink tagged gabardine swing coat, 2 buttons in front, white rayon socks and saddle shoes. In case of rain a tagged full length pink rain coat with pockets and blue and white polka-dot fabric under the collar, 2 blue buttons in front, a charming rain bonnet with blue and white polka dot brim, pink patent galoshes! For night a tagged sheer pale pink cotton full length night gown, pink ribbon running through ribbon trim and pink satin ribbon at waist, 3 snaps down back, puff sleeves with lace trim accent, lace trim also at neckline, Full length pink satin quilted tagged robe with a tiny rose pattern, self ties at collar pink lace trimmed taffeta panties, pink with white pompon fuzzy slippers. She has two sets of hair ribbons, sunglasses for her walks, pink hat box with curlers, pink brush and mirror set, Hanging shoe bag in box, pink painted metal case with twinkle stars inside and working handle, 6 plastic hangers, working drawer and gold ribbon tie and she has a rare original MA Clothes brochure!! Maggie is a beguiling dark brunette with green-blue eyes full brush lashes, pink cheeks and lipstick red lips, she is nicely strung and able to pose, no unpleasant odors, as with all vintage items some minor imperfections are to be expected, She is in Excellent condition! Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander. Teen fashion doll, jointed: legs, arms, elbows, and knees. Metal doll stand included. With elastic waist and side vents. Pink and white gingham sleeveless night gown snap back closure. Flocked light blue eyelet with pink flowers and lace trim short puff sleeves tie closure at neck. Doll in in good condition, original hair, small split at right thigh where the joint meets the body, some of the eyelashes are gone, green eyes (somewhat cloudy), some discoloration on the plastic body, wardrobe is brand new, very good, please. This is a gorgeous example of a 1950s Madame Alexander CISSY doll. From a time gone by when little girls played with dolls and their mommies helped make clothes for them. The doll is in excellent condition and still has nice blush on her face hands and knees. This is all original and has not been touched up! I did replace a few eyelashes on her right eye and there is a pin head size dot on her right breast (see picture) which I believe is a mold flaw. She has gorgeous dark red hair and her original tagged chemise which has had a few holes repaired in the lace. She will come with many one of a kind handmade outfits which include a gorgeous wedding gown and 9 pairs of shoes. I love all of the vintage fabrics that were used! She also has a pair of original sunglasses. The doll and clothing have all been recently cleaned and are free of stains and odors. Some of the clothing may need a snap or a stitch or two but all are in good clean condition. Shoes are in excellent condition with good elastic. As far as I can tell most are original Cissy shoes except for maybe one pair. There are a few other pieces of clothing not pictured. Vintage Madame Alexander 20 Cissy Bride Doll. This doll was won by my aunt back in the 50′s in a bingo game. She saved it for me and gave it to me on my 5th birthday back in the early 70′s. I loved the doll and played with her very carefully and with much respect for years. She is in excellent condition considering her age, however she is now missing her “diamond” ring that she came with along with the original “diamond” earrings. I lost those over and over again and my mother would frequently take vacuum bags apart to find them. She often did too, until that last time when it went finally missing. While the clothes are all in good condition, the original hangers for the pink box / closet area are now mostly broken and would have to be replaced or remade. All of the outfits shown above are included. There are also several more that would not fit in to the photographs. The drawer on the box pulls out for storage.
