Cissy Dress & Hat. This dress is blue and white striped with a black bow at the neck. It comes with the correct black velvet hat with pink roses. The colors are brighter in person and it is clean just needs a little pressing. So please remember this when leaving DSR ratings. The hat is in great shape with no issues to the lace. It is still a beautiful white color and has no stains or holes. The pink ties are in good condition but are a little shorter than they once were. However they still tie nicely into a bow. This hat is the perfect thing to complete any of your early Alexander Kins outfits. 1952 Madame Alexander 18 hard plastic Margaret face Walt Disney’s Snow White. She is completely original & in unplayed with condition. She was packed away for all these years. Her dress & slip have a few very light age stains, the gold vest, string & shoes are like new. Her hair is in the original set with ribbon & has not been combed. The dress has the original tag. (see photos) Her eyes are in good working condition & all the lashes are in tact. I do not want to disturb her original clothes so have not undressed her but she appears to be in excellent condition under the clothes. Her face coloring is wonderful as you can see on the photos. This is a beautiful Cissy – dressed for an afternoon date in her “Afternoon Suit”, number 2119. Cissy has blue sleep eyes with full brush lashes and rosy cheeks. Her face is in excellent condition with nice cheek color. And her blond hair is in the original set. Cissy’s outfit is tagged in the back “Cissy” and her outfit includes a two piece black and white ensemble of a felt. Full circular skirt with elastic waistband and short felt fitted long sleeve jacket with diamond-studded lapel and diamond studded belt buckle.. Sleeveless sheer white organdy blouse fastens in back. A truly beautiful tagged dress from 1955. It looks much prettier in real life than my pictures show. Sometimes called the “Dorothy” dress by collectors. Comes with original black velvet belt and bows on shoulders. This example is in the harder to find darker blue. Organdy sleeves of dress have just begun to pull away from shoulder in small spots. This is not noticeable unless one looks for it and dress makes a beautiful display. I bought this dress in a lot of clothing so I do not know if it has been washed. It is very slightly wrinkled; it had been stored for many years. Shown on page 56 of Shaw’s Cissy Files book.
