My lovely Vintage 1957 CISSY #2120 YELLOW FLORAL TAFFETA. She is not mint by any means, she has a couple of issues with her coloring on her neckline , back of torso and cheek. Stunning Vintage Cissy Doll dressed in a gown of yellow slipper satin, and affectionately known as “Yellow-Topaz” by collectors. She has gorgeous coloring and is an early painted doll with a Yardley styled auburn wig that looks lovely with the yellow satin gown. She has nice even color throughout. The arms and head were restrung, and the body has NO splits or cracks. She has been reblushed, and is a truly. Lovely doll with skin tone that compliments her red wig nicely. There is no yellowing to original sealant. Her lips were re-glossed as well. Her blush was resealed, and she has the original velvet patina on her forehead. Her eyes are blue-green. She has all original lashes, and eyebrows. Her eye-shadow was enhanced to even it out, so that both eyes match. She has her beautiful auburn wig with original hair ties and spanner bar, and it is in the original set. The lower curls at the nape of her neck were retied. Her hair is long and full, and has many generous curls. She has her original hooped slip with restitched elastic. She has her original tulle muff with the original floral spray. She has her original necklace, and the silver trim was reinforced where it was fraying from age. The earrings are replacements made from pieces of the originals that were disintegrating. She has her original gold heels with the original elastic. This is a beautiful gown with lots of fabric that displays beautifully. It does have some lighter colored shadow spots, probably from steam or water at some time. There is an age spot on the lower front of the gown, which I have pictured. The gown is tagged and has all the original snaps. The doll is from a smoke-free environment. The doll is free of smoke smells, or other odors. There is no doll stand included. Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy 20 Doll, 1957 Yellow Floral Taffeta Dress w/Hat. Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy 20 doll wearing 1957 Yellow Floral Taffeta tagged dress, matching yellow slip/petticoat and black hat with flowers. Cissy has blonde hair with spanner bar, hard plastic body and nice blue eyes, all lashes are present. Her body is nice condition, no splits or cracks, her head on lower right side has a small separation, I’ve included a close up photo of this. Her ears are pierced but she’s missing her earrings. Her yellow floral taffeta dress is tagged, excellent condition, very vibrant and full, near mint except it’s missing it’s cameo. She has the matching yellow slip and it’s nice but the waist elastic is streched out a bit. Her hat is original corridinating hat with yellow flowers, it is warped from storage but might be pressed down. Her stocking has a tiny hole at bottom, shoes are not original and she’s missing undies. The doll is pictured on page #97 of the Cissy R. ” by Kiley Shaw wearing a “Birdcage dress. Need I say more her dolls are amazing. The doll is an early painted doll with beautiful face coloring, clear blue eyes, full eyelashes, rosy cheeks and ruby red lips. Her dress is the floral print yellow organdy with no birds. The dress pictured in Cissy Reference Rarities Restoration, is not this dress. This dress is a different version of the same dress that I had in my collection. It is with a heavy heart that I list this Cissy doll for sale as she is one of my favorites. The doll and dress are in excellent to near mint condition. The doll is very clean there are no cracks, splits, or odors. She does have rubs on the upper legs but in my opinion they are minimal. If you would like more pictures please ask. There are no holes, rips, tears, stains, or odors to the doll’s clothes. The Madame Alexander outfit includes the VHTF tagged dress, original panties, original taffeta tulle trimmed slip, and original nylons. The dress is crisp and lovely trimmed with val lace and all of the snaps are present. The slip is still crisp with no issues. The panties are excellent with no holes above the legs which are often found, but there is a pin dot size mark on the front of the panties. The nylons are minty no holes or runs slightly stretched on the top of one leg. The yellow shoes are replacements and a pearl necklace and bracelet are also included. R 1948 Near Mint Madame Alexander Nina Ballerina. In Rare Tagged Yellow Tutu. This exquisite beautiful ballerina is one of the gems in my collection and is in near mint condition. She has her original stringing, which is still at exactly the right tension. Starting with her head, Nina has the lightest blond flaxen hair with her hair upswept into a top chignon with her headdress of yellow flowers and one cabbage rose. She should have two more. Her bangs could use a wee bit of curl – an easy fix. Ninas face is beyond exquisite and one of the best Ninas I have ever seen. Lovely matte peaches and cream complexion, high colour rouge, beautiful red lips and the bluest of eyes. Ninas rare yellow tutu is crisp with no wilting. Nina comes with pale pink ballet tights/stockings. Again rare for this line of Ninas. There is the tiniest of holes on her camera right leg. Her pink ballet slippers do show some age wear which is to be expected. Nina is an ex Lia Sargent Doll, though the paper work has been lost to time. No need to be concerned about packing. I use plenty of bubble wrap and packing peanuts or appropriate substitute. Make sure to look at all the pictures, THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION.
