This Cissy has nice coloring, with nicely blushed cheeks, beautiful lips and full eyelashes. She is free of any major cracks and is in overall good condition with a few minor flaws. There is a pin dot of color loss to her left cheek, there is some. To her skin tone on the tops of her legs (which will be covered but is there and must be mentioned) and her eyes have lightened from their original color. Here for your consideration is a 14 Margaret face doll produced by the Madame Alexander doll company in the late 1940′s or early 1950′s. Margaret, dressed as a bridesmaid, is wearing a vintage, factory made gown. It is taffeta, in a pretty shade of peach, and is decorated with gold sequins on the bodice, shoulders, and on a ruffle at the hips. The gown is in very good condition. There are no stains or holes. There was one seam opening in the back which I repaired. It closes with three secure snaps in the back. Margaret is also wearing gold shoes (some of the gold foil has worn off here and there). And vintage taffeta panties. The doll is in excellent condition. Her face paint is lovely and vibrant. Her brows and under lashes are well defined and her brush lashes are full. Her sleep eyes open and close as they should. She has full red lips and softly blushed cheeks. No issues to note with her body. There are no odors. She is tightly strung and will hold a pose. She has a blonde mohair wig fashioned into soft elegant curls, and accented with a pink rose. She carries a bouquet of silk roses. Margaret is beautiful and ready for display. There were a total of 6 Portrait dolls that were made in 1966 only and this one is Lissy. She is in excellent condition and all original from head to toe. She still has her original crown which is often missing. Her hair is in its original set. Her gown is tagged and crisp. She has beautiful facial coloring. Her original wrist tag has some brown spots on it. I also accept other forms of payments. On the custom form, I will only list this item as “Merchandise” and I will declare its full value. The doll is a beautiful single stitch blonde and a bent knee walker. She has very nice face color. I see no problems, exceptional doll. Her walker works great, smooth and she poses well. Her outfit includes a blue nylon dress with a floral coronet and nosegay of pink and blue flowers. Under her dress is the correct wonderful light blue slip with the panties that match exactly to it and both are lovely with good elastic. She has on white nylon socks and blue fuzzy bottom side snap shoes. A wonderful example of this doll. Her dress closes with two square snaps in back and ties with pinkish violet embossed ribbon. Hese Madame Alexander dolls are my mother’s collection and she has recently given them to me to sell. They are without box, but have been in her glass case since the 80s and 90s when she bought them. This dress is really beautiful with a yellow striped background and rows of green and yellow flowers down the front. From a distance the dress appears more green then yellow but up close you can see that the color is actually more yellow. The dress has no stains, holes, tears or odors. The dress is in.
