This is a 1950′s MADAME ALEXANDER CISSY BRIDE DOLL. THE DOLL IS IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION. THE DRESS HAS SOME BROWN MARKINGS OR STAINS AS SEEN IN THE PHOTO. ALSO, HER HOOP SKIRT HAS A SPOT AND THE WIRE HOOP IS BENT PROBABLY FROM BEING IN A BOX ALL THESE YEARS. HER GOWN IS ALSO CREASED FROM BEING IN THE BOX. Madame Alexander Cissy Doll 1956 Pink Satin Ballgown Dress Variation. You are purchasing Madame Alexander Cissy Doll 1956 Pink Satin Ballgown Dress Variation. My mom had two versions this one is a thicker material and the flowers are different and its wider on the bottom this is from her estate. This one has a fuller draping(think that is the correct terminology name for the wider bottom) and the inner material is a thick material peau de soie feels almost like a woven felt inside its a thicker satin then the other one. It is tagged with a crisp cissy tag. Item #’s 2041 22-61 This was made in 1956. Shown on Cissy for modeling purpose only she is not included. It is in used condition. Its a gorgeous gown. It has some flaws. It has aging it has become a paler pink and the ribbon straps are aged. It has soiling and some stains as shown in the close ups. On the back there is a few small reddish color stains. The back seam bottom has a small separation but you do not have to mend as when the snaps are closed you cant see it. The snaps all there and work. The flowers some aging, some wear, soiling, and some color fade. They are full does not look like any are missing. There is some minor edge fray to edge of the flowers some bends. There is areas of snags in the dress as shown in the close ups, a few minor pin holes, and there is one line of a snag run shown in the close ups. There is no big holes and no tears. There is a few pop stitches nothing major. I have provided plenty of close up photos inside the listing with all the flaws shown. It needs to be ironed. Overall it is a pretty displayable dress all flaws are shown in the photos. See my other listings. For more great items! Madame Alexander Margaret O’Brien 18 Inch Doll 1946-47 with Box No Reserve. 18 Madame Alexander Margaret OBrien Composition Doll. Dolls are not our greatest area of expertise, so please ask questions and offer additional information wherever possible. She was a child movie star in the 1940s. Alexander made her in composition in 1946-7. It appears that the clothing is faded but original. It is clear that she was played with, and while I didn’t take off her clothes, they appear to be faded but otherwise in good condition. She has a marking across her back that reads. The paper tag attached to her clothing reads. 1946 – Sears catalog – displayed OBrien Doll on one side and Directory of U. Trademarks – by – Luella Hart – Pg 29 – Margaret OBrien. MADAME ALEXANDER 21 ROME CISSY DOLL 25555 LE 272/700. She in her original box and has her certificate. She is numbered 272 out of a limited edition of 700 pieces. This doll’s face is quite tacky. It almost feels like wax. I do not know if they are all this way, or something happened to the vinyl of this particular doll. She is still beautiful. The clothing is gorgeous! 1952 Madame Alexander 18 hard plastic Margaret face Walt Disney’s Snow White. She is completely original & in unplayed with condition. She was packed away for all these years. Her dress & slip have a few very light age stains, the gold vest, string & shoes are like new. Her hair is in the original set with ribbon & has not been combed. The dress has the original tag. (see photos) Her eyes are in good working condition & all the lashes are in tact. I do not want to disturb her original clothes so have not undressed her but she appears to be in excellent condition under the clothes. Her face coloring is wonderful as you can see on the photos. The doll itself is in very good condition with no splits or stains on her body. Her hair needs to be re-styled. Her head is a little loose but it can still hold a pose. Her tagged gown is in wonderful condition. Her crown is a bit bent out of shape. The straps on her shoes are stretched. She has ear holes but no earrings. She is wearing what looks like her original necklace and bracelets. She has some old doll smell but nothing odious like musty or cigarette smoke smell. I also accept other forms of payments. Beautiful Madame Alexander Alexander-Kins. #574 Wendy Bent Leg Walker Tosca Hair Alexander – Kins. Eyes seem to be black and open and close freely. Legs move as her head turns. Outfit tagged (there are 2 tags not sure why) , complete, no wear, but her sailor hat has some moth damage. (I will try to picture) Tosca hair with curls. White shoes and white socks. Description of doll states Wendy is dressed casually in Basque type shirt, worn with pleated skirt and French sailor hat. Doll has not been used or played with – she has been stored in this box for 50 – 60 years and needs a new home. The back of her dress and hat is a bit flat from being in the box.
