From My Personal Collection. DESCRIPTION: This is an original Madame Alexander Joanie playpal sized doll. She has very little uneven skin tone. Uneven skin tone is typical with Madame Alexander dolls. I have added a little color to her cheeks which can be washed off with soap and water. Her brunette hair is clean and uncut. Her green flirty (they move side to side) sleep eyes open and close and she has all of her eyelashes. Her arms are strung and she has the walker legs. This doll is very clean and ready to display. As with most vintage dolls there are a few light scratches on her body. She is marked ALEXANDER 1959 on the back of her neck. You will receive Joanie wearing her vintage pink organza party dress with black flocked flowers. She will also arrive with new panties, new black patent leather doll shoes, new socks, and a hair bow. Under her dress she is wearing a pink full slip with petticoat netting which I made for her to add fullness. My home is smoke free. VTG MADAME ALEXANDER CISSY QUEEN DOLL 20 HIGH HEELS JEWELRY CROWN BLOND BLUE. THIS IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE DOLL BY MADAME ALEXANDER. HER NAME IS CISSY AND SHE IS A QUEEN. SHE HAS THE JEWELRY TO PROVE IT, A CROWN, PEARL NECKLACE, RINGS, BRACKETS, AND NICE EAR RINGS WITH PEARLS. I FOUND OUT SOME INTEREST INFORMATION ABOUT HER. SHE WAS RELEASED IN 1955, AND WAS THE FIRST OF THE MODERN FASHION DOLLS. WHAT SET HER APART AS SOMETHING NEW AND DIFFERENT WAS THE MATURE FIGURE AND SHE HAD HIGH HEELED FEET. AT THE TIME SHE WAS AN EXPENSIVE DOLL. SHE WAS THE MOST PROMINENT DOLL IN ALEXANDER’S CATALOG BETWEEN THE YEARS OF 1955 TO 1959. CISSY STARTED OUT AS A 20″ DOLL BUT IN 1958 WAS DESCRIBED AS A 21″ DOLL SHE IS MADE OF HARD PLASTIC WITH VINYL ARMS AND IS JOINTED AT THE NICK, HIPS, WAIST, SHOULDERS AND SHE HAS ONE PIECE ARMS. SHE HAS BLONDE HAIR WHICH IS STYLED INTO A ELEGANTLY COIFFURED WIG. SHE HAS BLUE SLEEP EYES WITH BEAUTIFUL LASHES AND FEATHERED EYEBROWS. ON THE BACK OF HER NECK IS ALEXANDER. HER WARDROBE WAS NOTHING SORT OF STUNNING WHICH WAS MADE OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY MATERIALS AND THE BEST CRAFTSMANSHIP. Her clothes have no stains but I think. The yellow color may be faded a bit. Of the dress in the front is becoming separated. From the inside layer at the seam at the neckline. About an inch long. The waist of her panties is just a. Little bit stretched out. The top layer of her dress from. The waist up has several places where the material is separating. In the front and back so the dress needs to be handled. One or two of the circle shiny embellishments on. The dress have fallen off. I have collected one of. Them and will send with her.
