Madame Alexander Dolls

Vintage 1940′s Madame Alexander Wendy Ann 21 Bridesmaid Doll. I believe she has the Wendy Ann face. This Bridesmaid is in very nice condition. She once had a crack on the side of her head (by her ears), but it has been professionally repaired and you cannot even tell it has ever been repaired that is how well it was done. The top layer of paint on her right leg has some deep crazing (shown) this is not a crack, just crazing of the top layer of paint. She is truly an exceptional doll. She has beautiful face color with bright blue eyes! She has very, very faint craze lines on her face. Her all original outfit is tagged Madame Alexander. Her dress appears to be very nice with no damage or stains, it has a few tiny pin size holes along the bottom, not noticeable unless searching for them. Her hair is in very nice condition with matching flowers. Overall, she is just lovely and even more stunning in person. F rom an Odor Free home. From a recent estate sale here in the Dallas area, here’s a very cute Sweet Violet doll by Madame Alexander. The doll has blonde hair and sleep eyes. She is wearing five pieces of clothing which include 1 a lavender coat, 2 the hard to find white dress with purple details, 3 under pants, 4 hat with flowers and 5 a pair of shoes and socks. She does not have her muff. The lavender coat is tagged in the back as shown in the pictures. The bonnet is purple velvet and has its original flowers and pink ribbon tie. The dress is in excellent shape has some light age stains at the top of the dress which I think will clean up, but I have not tried to clean the dress in fear of damaging it. The dress is not tagged. The purple shoes have their front flowers. The face is similar to Cissy and Binnie Walker. Her hair is in lightly played with condition and her eyelashes are in excellent shape. The coat and dress have their original buttons. The doll measures about 18 inches tall. The doll itself is in played with condition with one split one the left wrist, one slit at one the right elbow and chipping on the back of the upper legs. The purple coat has a few snags to the fabric on the back left side which are visible in the picture. There is also a tiny mark on her nose. She works as expected. Her coat is tagged. This is a very nice 1957 Madame Alexander Simple Satin Ballerina Elise doll. She wears her original tagged tutu of satin and tulle with abundant underlayers of tulle for rich fullness. There may be a few tiny holes in the tulle but if they are there, they don’t show amid all the layers. Beneath the tutu ruffles is the satin panty section. Elise wears her flower trimmed headpiece in her hair. Matching original flower swag on her tutu bodice. The flowers could use a quick steaming to reform them because they are a bit flattened from storage. Pink pantyhose with no runs and pink ribbon trimmed pink slippers. Slippers are a little dirty so could use a wipe down. No seam splits on the doll. Pretty clear blue eyes, shiny blonde hair, and round pearl earrings. Not mint but yet very nice vintage Elise doll. This is a far from mint 1959 Madame Alexander Blue Pleated Bridesmaid Elise doll. She wears her original gown. There are five areas in the skirt section of the gown that have some tears as seen in the photos. Beneath the gown she wears her original tagged half slip. It is very wrinkled and needs to be pressed. She also wears a seamstress made blue chiffon half slip for fullness and to enhance the blue color of the gown. She has no stockings or shoes. There are two seam splits on the doll’s knee areas as shown in one of the photos. Some of the beads on the pearl necklace and the earrings have lost their finish. The metal on the jewelry is tarnished. Elise’s face has been fully repainted. Not well done but it does give her a bright color. One of the photos shows a good closeup on the repaint so you can see it well. Her best features are her lovely brunette wig and very pretty bright blue eyes. Please look at all the photos carefully as they are part of the description. CONS: Not a mint doll. Some necklace beads and earrings have lost their pearl finish. Some tarnish on jewelry metal. No stockings or shoes. Five spots of torn pleated organza on gown. Wrinkled underslip, needs to be ironed. Added blue chiffon half slip. Replaced flowers on bodice. Two seam splits on knee areas. Vintage 1959 Madame Alexander Cissette Sleeping Beauty. This beautiful Cissette is complete and is in excellent mint condition with NO damage. She is missing her box lid. Here is a gorgeous vintage Wendy Ann. She has a human hair wig. And eyelashes are present. Her stringing is excellent. Her eyes will open and close as they. Shes never been undressed or played. She has a tiny crack above each eye, below each. Eye and there are 2 tiny cracks on the outside corner. Of her right eye. There is a tiny crack in the. Palm of her left hand and the tip of her right index. She has a tiny crack across her. Right thigh, a small crack shaped like a horseshoe. On her butt, a tiny crack on the inside of her left. Elbow and a crack behind her left ear that goes. She has 2 small holes in her butt as well. She has extremely light crazing thats very. Both eyes are crystallized. Up for sale is this GORGEOUS and VERY RARE 18 Mary Louise doll from the Me and My Shadow series from 1954, EXTREMELY RARE Yellow gloves. She is a very hard doll to find, but much, much more rare is to find her with her Yellow striped “kid gloves”. She is a beautiful doll with a Cissy face, and amazing golden yellow braids that are pinned up with shiny perfect curls at each cheek. Her eyes are a lovely blue, she has full eyelashes, lovely eye shadow, two stroke brows and pink lips. Her blush is pretty too, though she does have what looks like a tiny rub on her left cheek. She is wearing her original full-skirted burnt orange taffeta dress with crisp tag, black trim at neckline, bust and at her wrists. Her original olive green wool Jacket and hat with cream trim, rickrack and adorned with a few tiny metal flowers at the small of her back and on top of her head, are in excellent condition as well. No moth holes in the wool that I can see. Her hat is kept on her head by a lovely mustard yellow velvet ribbon nicely and are in excellent condition as well. Her light cream taffeta underskirt/hoop-slip is still crisp, as are her pantaloons. Her black velvet shoes are in excellent condition with fuzzy soles. She also has her black and gold hatbox in lovely condition. She doesn’t have odors and comes from a smoke free home. Up for sale is this EXTREMELY RARE 18 vintage Madame Alexander Cissy-faced Agatha doll from the Me and My Shadow series from 1954, in box. Of the more rare Me and My Shadow portrait series, Agatha is one of, if not the very most rare and hard to find dolls in that series. She has a very ornate outfit. She wears a pink, tagged, taffeta gown with purple and yellow eye loop trim, blue velvet forget-me-nots, gathers, flares, etc. It is fitted from the bodice to the hips, with gathers accentuating her hips, and very full gathered skirt. It has a stuffed bust (like the other me and my shadow and glamour girls should), and there is a slight stretching on her right breast seam, though the long ribbon tends to fall over it naturally. In the back there is a bow-like bustle, with wings that extend beneath, and a LONG decorated train. The sleeves have ruffled tulle on the underside. The tulle is a little brittle with ha section partially broken off on her left arm. Her bonnet is in lovely condition, with no breaks in the straw. It has a lovely pink moire ribbon weaving across the top with bows and tying in a bow under her chin. It has lovely blue and cream velvet forget-me-nots, and cream velvet forget-me-nots , and a couple perfect cabbage roses as well. She has a pink taffeta “parasol”, and pink Madame Alexander hat box. She has a beautiful dark brown hair in smooth hairdo with cured under ends pinned sleekly in the back. She does have some vintage glue residue at the top of her forehead just past the edge of the wig. It can best be seen in the photo of her laying down. I’ve heard it can be removed, but I will let the new owner decide if they want to so something about it. She has blue eyes, bright pink lips, and two strike brows. She has the lovely classic Cissy face so many love. Her box is in OK condition. It has a slight bend on one side and has a little seam separation where the bottom meets the wall of the box. Overall she is a lovely sample of an EXTREMELY RARE and hard to find doll. She doesn’t have odors and comes from a smoke free home.
