This HTF outfit is original to this doll. The Lavender taffeta Box Pleats dress and Bolero are crisp and clean. The flowers are still attached to her pink taffeta slip, no runs or holes in her stockings, the elastic is still tight on her shoes, panties, and slip and her panties have no holes or tears. She wears an open crown hat with flowers and some netting (most of the netting is gone). Her shoes have lavender bases and lilac elastic with darker purple insoles. She wears rhinestone earrings, a pearl necklace, , a purple rhinestone bracelet and a purple rhinestone ring. She also carries her lucite purse with a corsage. She has beautiful original color, full lashes , the whites of her eyes are white and the color of her eyes is a blue/green. Her wig is in the original set, there are not any seam splits and she still maintains the blush on her knees. Comes from an non smoking environment and has no foul odors. I have included several pictures to show the condition. Please enlarge them for the best view. These are an important part of my description. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. No clothes/ doll only. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part red/ auburn wig. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part red/ auburn wig in curls with bangs, still has the original threads that tie the hair on the sides. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and closes with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears (no earrings). There are some marked on the front of the left lower leg, this seems to be in the plastic, like a minor indentation, see photo. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. Dress of cotton wallpaper print with ribbons and roses pattern. Puffed sleeves trimmed with Val lace. Natural waist with shorter length of 7 on skirt. Hem is narrower, 1 1/2. Sewn horizontal pleat in back bodice. There is light fading in the bodice. Otherwise very pretty and hard to find dress. My dolls are all around 50-80 years old. I consider them TLC and some are in better condition than others. I try to mention anything I see, but please read the description and look at the pictures. Box shows a little shelf wear with a tear on one corner – see picture. Dolls are MINT Condition and Carousel Box has never even been opened. The dolls are in MINT condition with their. 75th anniversary wrist tags, heart-shaped necklaces with each doll’s name, and original box. The carousel came in a generic brown box mailed directly from the Toy Shoppe that has never been opened. Soft brown painted vinyl head on a hard plastic body, side-glancing eyes, brown painted molded hair, and are all jointed at their necks, shoulders, and hips. Each wears their own colorful outfits with lace trim and a checked bow on the skirt matching the color of their dress, and a bonnet with a satin rosebud matching the color of the bonnet. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Tagged pink check dress with lace and rhinestone trim. Straw hat, high heel shoes, white taffeta panties. Tosca hair, triple stitched part. Presented here is a beautiful vintage 1957-58 Madame Alexander Cissette doll wearing her original tagged pink check dress with roses, it has white lace trim on the arms and accented with. Set rhinestones on the bodice, the skirt is a full circle. She also wears a vintage wide brim pink straw hat with velvet flowers, white taffeta panties. The shoes are original molded white high heels with bows on the instep. The dress and accessories are in excellent vintage condition. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, holds a pose nicely, the strings are good. Lovely face with great color, blue-green eyes that open and close freely, red mouth. Her hair is tosca color, it has a triple stitched part , thick and full with most of the original curl, bangs. She has a wonderful sought after red wig with straight bangs. The doll is very clean and nice. There are no cracks or splits to the knees, hips, or crotch. The doll does not have odors. She has pretty blue eyes. Her eye lashes are thin on both eyes. Her eyes work well but stick at times. She will arrive to her new home wearing her original tagged Cissy chemise, her original cabbage rose shoes, original stockings, and her hair is tied back with the original pink ribbon. There is a small hole in the front of the lace chemise shown in photo #3. There is also a hole in the back of the chemise shown in photo #12. Her shoes have stretched elastic. This is a MADAME ALEXANDER ” Annabelle” using the Maggie face. She is from 1953 and is 17 inches tall. Her blonde hair is in its original set with the original ribbon. Her dress and sweater are in wonderful condition. No holes or stains to report. Shoes and socks are great and original too. Her stringing is good. Her face has lovely even coloring with some cheek coloring and the dolls eyes are wonderful with thick lashes which are all present (see photo). I think Madame Alexander created some of her best designs in the 1950′s. Come Have Tea with Cissy! Cissy is dressed in a rose-hued tea formal for a delightful afternoon with You! Its a bit big on her and has some minor flaws, but Cissy is clever and pinned it so it fits! Shes not going to pass up the perfect dress just because it might be a bit big. Her vintage undies are authentic to the time-period. The satin bra is very nicely and cleverly mommy-made, while her garter belt is machine made, although rather stretched in the elastic area and has aged in color over the years. Her silky thigh-high nylons are perfect with her vintage and period-authentic Cissy-styled high-heeled sandals. The elastic is relaxed over the toe area but they perfectly compliment her undies and dress. A vintage faux pearl necklace completes her beautiful ensemble. She is as ready as roses for tea! Cissys golden blond Saran wig is authentic to this time period and looks darling on her. It may be an MA original Cissy wig, but Ive had it for so long, I honestly cant authenticate it. I have woven a vintage pink satin ribbon through it and attached vintage flowers. The wig retains its original pins and is in a beautiful factory-original set. Cissys head is a Binnie that was placed upon a more modern Cissy body. Her arms are straight plastic, not vinyl, and do not bend, but her legs are jointed and do. Her clear blue eyes open and shut, she has all of her black brush lashes, although the eyelids do have rubs in the paint, and there is a nick above one eye. There is also a nick above her cute little nose. Her face paint looks good, but the cheek blush is faint and her face is pale. Please look at the photos carefully to assist you in your purchasing decision. If you need more photos, please ask. Like most of us, Cissy isnt perfect and comes with the aforementioned imperfections. She IS 70, but she looks fabulous! Would you expect her to look any less? This is a beautiful 9 Madame Alexander Cissette Doll in a lovely Cissette Ballerina Outfit. She has her original blonde triple stitched Wig with loads of curls. Beautiful Bright Face coloring with blue green Eyes that open and close easily with pearl earrings. Her Body is in excellent condition and tightly strung. I do see 2 mended lines on her neck. Both Knees bend fine. Cissette is wearing a wonderful tagged Cissette ballet Dress with snap and ribbon tie in the back. One tiny pin hole in the netting.
