Ponytail Cissy is Ready to Spend an Evening with Friends. Cissy is dressed for a sophisticated evening soirée with friends wearing her original rose and black v-neck toreador set. Although not tagged, guaranteed to be original. The fashionable three-piece outfit includes the chantilly lace v-neck top that closes with three buttons in back; her black velvet pants with gold elastic waistband; and ombré pink waist sash that closes at the side with a square snap. There is a small light stain on the sash that I have shown in one of the photos, and a very tiny tear in the lining of the lace top. Complementing her outfit are black strappy high heels and clear rhinestone circle earrings. Her look is complete with sheer nude stockings and panties underneath. Cissy has the rare ponytail hairstyle, and her hair is also in the elusive brunette color. She is well strung. Her head does have the ability to slightly bob if she is shaken hard but it poses very well. She has an expertly repaired seam split at the hip and outer knee of her left leg. Her eyes are an alluring blue, and her face has been professionally blushed and sealed. There are no odors. Cissy will make a wonderful addition to your collection! Please look at all the photos. Lovely MADAME ALEXANDER-KINS 1953-54 Deep Pink BALLERINA OUTFIT w/Box. I dont know how long I have had this doll, probably 20 years or more and she has been stored away at least inside my home in climate controlled environment. She is not mint but at least in very good condition. Hair is a little mussed and flat, probably will want to air blow her off. Cissy is Dressed for a Spring Fashion Parade. Wearing a beautiful fashion of flocked dotted organdy is vintage Madame Alexander Cissy, who originally wore the 1955 blue slipper satin evening gown with silver braid trim. Her hairstyle is unique to that doll which helps to identify her. Cissy that is rare to find for that reason. Here she is dressed in an outstanding creation by the Primrose Doll Shop. Frothy, light, and delicate describes this dress perfectly. She also wears a strand of pearls around her neck, slip, panties, and stockings with coordinating pink strappy high heels. Cissy carries her lucite purse and pink wrist gloves. In her hair in a charming bouquet of cabbage roses. Cissy is in clean excellent condition but her lower legs have some loss of color in spots which does not show easily through her stockings. Cissy’s eyes are a lovely hazel color, lashes are all there and just a bit thin on her left eye. Hair is in the original set. Face has been professionally refreshed and sealed. This is a beautiful doll , I don’t know a lot about the madame alexander dolls but, I was told this is Margaret O’Brien she stands 18 tall and is composition, I see some crazing but nothing to bad. Cost likely lower than listed! Rarely, if ever, do you find twins of this toddler for sale! I’ve decided it’s time to list my doll collection. Both dolls have clear, flirty, follow-me, with original long, curly lashes. Their hair is blonde, straight and shiny. They are soft & hard vinyl with criers in their backs (neither works). They are walkers but I have no clue how walkers work, but I assume the left arm is involved somehow. So cute, they will be missed! Timmie #1 (in pink/lighter brows) can stand alone but it’s a bit precarious (I suggest stands for both) Her arms stay in place when posed shoulder height & higher. Lower than that, they slowly slip down, but still very posable (see photos) Her face has a couple of minor (permanent) smudges. Welcome to my auctions! She is 20 tall, hard plastic body and soft vinyl jointed arms. Her knees are also jointed for posing. She is wearing a gorgeous reproduction of the taffeta gown with the side drape, made in 1956. It is well made and follows Alexander’s design to the T. It is made of a medium weight taffeta in cornflower blue. Underneath she wears a long nylon taffeta slip with stiff tulle. Matching panties long, tight nylon stockings and silver strap high heel Cissy shoes, complete her outfit. She is shown with a long white faux fur stole that has a cluster of vintage roses and is lined in white satin and embroidered C. I also show her with a white feather fan tied in blue ribbon. Her only jewelry is a signature rhinestone bracelet and glued on rhinestone dots for earrings. She has no holes in her ears. She has a very dark brunette wig, pulled back on both sides into a tight cluster at her neck. Her face is lovely with a light peach complexion, blush, full lashes, one stoke brows, blue green eyes, and coral mouth. No breaks, cuts, or odors. From smoke free home.
