Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander 20 Blonde Cissy Doll in Tagged Lingerie. This doll is lovely and will be a beautiful display doll. She is in nice condition but does have some flaws. Hair – in original set but does have a thin layer on the back that is a little messy. It will lay down on the head fine. I took a picture with it pulled away from the head so you can get a clear picture. Head – no cracks. The head tends to lean forward and will bobble a little. It almost feels like it might be strung a little too tight but it has no problem holding a position. Face – Brows are there but a little light. Very faint to no cheek color. Lips are great with no rubs or fading. Eyes open and close, sometimes they need a little tap. Some lashes on one eye are cut but not gone. Arms – strung tight and in good condition. Might need to be cleaned as they have some light spots in various places. Torso – very good condition. One breast has a tiny spot on it that did not come off with just water but might come off with a magic eraser, I just don’t have one right now. The rest of the torso looks nice but could use cleaning. Legs – Very nice. Legs have some scratches at the top where they have rubbed against the torso. One foot has some fading on the top. One leg has a small red mark on the front. The other legs has a small, faint mark on the back. Outfit – is tagged. Some fraying on the inside lining on the top. Straps still have some stretch left. This is the prettiest Madame Alexander Margaret doll I’ve ever seen. She’s a vintage Princess Margaret Rose. She comes wearing her original light blue organdy/nylon dress with attached satin blue petticoat, blue satin panties which tie in the back, socks, blue Mary Jane shoes with bows and straw hat with replaced flowers. The cascading ribbon attached to the hat can be tied in a bow around her neck if desired. Her dress is in fair to good condition but displays nicely. There are a few small tears in her skirt and on the right lower side there is a small hole and what looks to be a few repairs. Most of these flaws are well hidden in the folds of her dress. I pulled out the skirt in order to take the last picture. The elastic in the puffed sleeves has relaxed and there are some tiny tears. Part of the middle snap on the back of her dress is missing. The dress is a bit faded and the original flower at the waist shows age. The dress is tagged however the tag is frayed and hard to read but if you look closely, the Madame Alexander name can be seen. Her hat is in very nice condition with replaced flowers. Still has its elastic chin strap which is no longer stretchy. Her shoes show some age. The snaps are present but have come unglued from her shoes and are attached to the straps. As the photo shows, this is hard to notice when the doll is standing since the straps lay nicely across her feet. This doll is in very good condition and has a gorgeous face with lightly blushed cheeks and red lips. Her green eyes have a touch of yellow. They open and close and all her dark lashes are intact. Her lovely blonde mohair wig is in its original style with pink vintage cabbage roses and original hair bars. She’s strung well and holds poses perfectly. She displays so beautifully. I’m being picky here but want to include everything that I notice. There is a very tiny scratch or mark of some kind on the left side of her nose. I never noticed this until I started carefully examining her for these pictures. It’s very hard to see…. Probably something that occurred during production. It’s extremely hard for my camera to capture it but if you look carefully at the 2 close-up photos of her face, it can be seen. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part strawberry blonde wig. Tagged coral taffeta dress. Vintage sequin cocktail hat with veil. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part strawberry blonde/ light red wig in curls with bangs. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and closes with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears with rhinestone drop earrings. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing an original 1950′s tagged long coral taffeta formal gown, it has prong set rhinestone accents at the neck and side. The dress is lined and has a net, lace trimmed, slip attached at the waist seam, overall excellent vintage condition, shows some age. Underneath she has a full cotton petticoat with tulle lining and a ruffled hem, her panties are white with peach bows. Cissy has a vintage long white faux fur cape, it is satin lined, ties with satin ribbons in the front. Her cocktail hat is absolutely fabulous it is embellished with sequins, it has a wired edge and original veil with velvet bow detail, it is original 1950′s. She has white plastic molded high heel shoes, one shoes has the loop broken at the ankle strap but still shows nicely. Cissy is all set for a formal event and she is fabulous! Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Prince Charming and Cinderella Dolls. These dolls are in good condition. The dolls’ clothing is somewhat discolored from age and needs to be cleaned to remove dirt. A beautiful doll with high color cheeks & lips, no rubs. Blue sleep eyes with all their lashes. Factory styled hair that still retains the original flower wreath. Her bangs are all there, just some pushed back from storage. Strung just right so she is easy to pose. Some white spots on back of her left leg, no unwanted hard plastic odors. All original tagged tutu with attached matching underwear that are brighter pink than the tutu. Mostly on back there are faded brown dots that look to wash out, some on right sleeve, as pictured. Front of the tutu has very few dots and they are hardly noticeable. Still retains original flower applique on waist and on left shoulder. Back of neck is marked “Alexander”. We offer for your consideration a lovely 14 unmarked Maggie face Annabelle doll with incredibly bright and unclouded eyes. Her hair is in the original upturned curl on the bottom style with the two sides swept up into her original barrette. Her coloring is even and true to her original beauty with nicely blushed cheeks and full and unfaded lips. She is stunning with her factory fresh, or close to it, tagged Annabelle, bright, unfaded, and issue free crisp white dress. The blue Annabelle blouse is lovely with no obvious issues or blemishes. The full slip under dress is flawless. Please note that the snap buttons on her slip are loose and will need resewn. The stockings are a fresh color, a little age on the ends, and they fold down nicely. Her side snap shoes are intact and displayable. Her panties are bright, white, and snap in the back. Her long off-white slip sparkles with freshness. Her eyes are highlighted with molded eyelashes, as well as individually painted lashes on the bottom sides of her eyes. Her face, torso, and limbs are hard plastic with five pieces. She is remarkable with her pink eyelids and lovely eyebrows. She is well strung and displays nicely on a doll stand. Her original elastic bands were removed and replaced with new elastic cording. Her head stays in place and does not droop. Her arms hold a pose very nicely. Her legs are nicely attached and tight. Her body and limbs are exceptionally clean, undamaged, and free of issues, or blemishes. She is a sleep eye doll, and her eyes open and close easily. Her fingernails are unfaded and bright. Her coloring is a matte suntanned appearance. She is a beauty from the original owner’s showcase. This doll was kept in the family of a vast doll collection from the 1930s through the 1970s. Her hair is full with no thinning areas. The wig is well attached, and it may cover a Madame Alexander marking on her neck. She has no markings on her back or neck, which seems how Maggie face dolls were made. Please look at the photos for further visual image of her condition. She has brunette hair with a triple stitched part wig, still in most of the original lovely curls, the hair is smooth with a nice sheen. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, nice coloring. She has pierced ears with rhinestone drop earrings. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. The dress is tagged, it is pink net tulle in ruffled rows sprinkled with rhinestones and tiny rosette trim. She has a white taffeta slip with net flounce, pink panties, silver strappy high heels (the elastic has lost most of the stretch so they are loose) and a pink horsehair hat with the chin strap and a pink rose on the brim.
