A wonderful vintage Madame Alexander doll, as pictured. Pre-owned and in good condition. Some gentle wear throughout from age, but no egregious flaws. Her’sleepy eyes’ seem to stick sometimes and need to be opened manually. The clothing is a bit wrinkled from storage, but I don’t notice any other issues. Adjustable at the hips, shoulders, and head/neck. Her pink dress has a “Madame Alexander” tag. The doll’s body does not have any markings. Comes with the “comb & curlers” box (with contents), and the other pictured accessories. Includes original box, which shows wear, rips/tears, etc. She stands 17-inches tall. Welcome to my auctions! She is 20 tall with hard plastic body and soft vinyl jointed arms. Her knees are also jointed for posing. She is dressed in a beautiful white pique cotton dress with print of red flowers, with white vintage val lace trim around neckline and sleeves and red grosgrain red ribbon sash. Underneath her dress is a white silky half slip with white tulle netting trimmed with red ric-rac on both sides of edge. White matching panties with lace trim. She is wearing reproduction tight nylon stockings with lace tops and red strap cissy shoes. She carries a handbag covered in black felt with red flower trim. Her hat is a Richard Original in red feathers with black net face veil. She has no jewelry except a rhinestone bracelet. She has a lovely face with full lashes, peach eyelids, cheek blush, green eyes and red mouth. Her hair is a medium blond color. She has one filled in small crack on outside of left leg and one crack on top of same leg high up inside. This has not been filled in. She is clean with no odors. Beautiful Original Binnie (or Winnie) walker doll by famous Madame Alexander. She is 18 tall; all hard plastic. Marked on the back of her head ALEXANDER. Some minor marks/scratches are present to her body, extremities and face. Face paint is beautifully preserved. Sleepy eyes mechanism is working. Original hair is a little messy. Her stringing is good. Her outfit tagged Binnie Walker Madame Alexander. Some stains are present; missing one of the buttons. The rest of the outfit most likely is not original to this doll. Vintage 1950s 14 Madame Alexander Walking Bride Doll, Margaret Face Tagged Hard Plastic, head turns as she walks, stringing is good, dark blonde hair, blue eyes open and close. Has original veil, flower bouquet, panties (elastic stretched), and shoes. Wig is in very nice condition, does not seem to have been combed or altered, I do note that the front center of her wig looks like it should have some hair in the center, it looks thin in that spot, maybe the veil hat was attached in that area, IDK. Dress is tagged Madame Alexander. Veil is sort of mantilla style with tulle attached to a stiff lace headband, missing most of the flowers. It has a ribbon that is tied in the back of her hair. Veil has 1 pinhead size hole on top (photo). The tulle skirt has two layers in good condition. The top tulle layer has some age related discoloration but that is normal for its age and has a tear in the back where the snaps are and tear at the very bottom of the hemline in that area. The taffeta skirt is in very good condition, 1 layer of tulle over taffeta bodice and tulle puff sleeves. A previous owner added a second taffeta slip that is fastened by a safety pin in the back, it has a tulle hemline, I don’t believe it is original to this bride doll or Madame Alexander but it is there.
