She is strung nicely and holds position. There are no cracks or stains – she is a very nice doll. Auburn triple stitch wig. She wears a white taffeta dress, tagged – no stains or tears and all snaps work. It has a green velvet loopidoo on the front. She has a green velvet coat with a matching pixie hat. The coat has no problems and has a green cotton lining and an excellent tag below the wide peter pan collar. Her Pixie velvet hat has all its cute little studs present. Under the dress is a pair of white taffeta undies with vale lace. Her slip is white organdy with vale lace. She is a bent knee walker and it works nicely. On her feet are fuzzy bottom green velvet side snap shoes and nylon socks. She carries a vintage white faux fur muff with attached tiny flowers. This is a 1954 Madame Alexander-kins doll wearing a pastel pink organdy dress with pastel blue organdy pinafore. “Maypole Dance” on straight leg walker. She comes to you with black fuzzy soled shoes and pink rayon knit socks. Her cheek and face color are like new! Hair is a triple stitched wig in its beautiful original set. She’s comes in a box labeled for auburn doll. One corner ripped but overall great condition. No rips, stains or odors to dress. Doll is tightly strung and walker works beautifully. In person she’s breath taking… !!! My photos don’t do her justice. She has the face of an angel…… Early strung Kins in this condition are IMPOSSIBLE to find! Excellent face coloring with nice rosy cheeks with no rubs. Desirable matte finish complexion. Lovely blue grey eyes and lots of finely feathered painted lashes. Please excuse any camera “reflection” showing in photos. Gorgeous triple stitched wig in original set. She comes wearing an ADORABLE pastel pink taffeta dress and panties. Vintage slip has slight loosening of waist elastic but slip stays up. Gorgeous crochet Alexander-kins bonnet with multi-ruffle edging. I do see one tiny hole on one side of the bonnet which in no way detracts from her displayability or appeal! Her box is in EXCELLENT clean condition for it’s age and is marked #300 BLONDE. 2 VINTAGE MADAME ALEXANDER ALEXANDER-KINS LITTLE WOMEN DOLLS -bent knee +boxes. There two minty Madame Alexander-Kins dolls from the Little Women characters are in really nice shape with the gorgeous hair and pretty high color faces and nice outfits and these were really put away and not played with. The boxes show some wear but the dolls smell fine and have really nice detailed layered clothing. One is MEG #609 & the other is Beth #609 and the original boxes are not taped and only one has the head insert. Both of the dolls hair-dos are intricate stitched glued on wigs that are in fine original shape with the original hair ribbons in the original bows. All of the clothing on both dolls are clean and both have their shoes. They each have a “bent” knee legs and each have the “walking head turning” motion when the legs are moved. Perhaps these are a memory from your play past or nice items to add to your collection. The bodies are clean and nice with no breaks or skin surface problems. She comes with a box – not sure if original correct box or not. She has on a blue and pink check dress with under garment. All the buttons are attached and the shoes and socks are present -socks are a little stretched out. We have several dolls including more Madame Alexanders. The dolls do not smell or have any odor. These came out of an estate – a very clean home. 1954 straight leg walker with a triple stitch wig in a flip. Her walker works great- and she is strung well. No problems with her body – cracks or stains, etc. Stands on her own and holds position. This listing is for a BEAUTIFUL STRUNG Alexander-kins from the first year Madame Alexander produced her 8 dolls. She is a STRAIGT LEG NON-WALKER and is unique in that, only in 1953, did Madame Alexander make these dolls with solid legs. She is significantly heavier than later kins. Also, since she is strung, she can be posed in a great variety of poses, including tilting her head which the later walkers are unable to do. This sweet doll is blessed with a honey blond triple-stitched wig in it original set. Her clear blue eyes open and close nicely. She has flawless red lips and lightly blushed cheeks. Her painted bottom lashes are perfect. She is tightly strung, stands on her own and holds a pose nicely. If she was played with at all, it was very lightly. She wears t agged, pink panties and perfect black suede shoes with fuzzy bottoms accompanied by pink rayon socks. I found a slight indentation at the inside of her right eyebrow which I believe was made during her manufacture. Until September 8 before returning to my home in Panama. Please study the photos.
