This is a beautiful 1955 Madame Alexander-kins Doll dressed in a’Wendy Goes To Matinee’ outfit in pink. I have had blue but never pink. She is SLW Kins which means she is a straight leg walker. She is in excellent condition with original tosca triple stitched wig with loads of curls, bright natural coloring with brown brows, blue green eyes that open and close freely, no black under lashes, pink rosy cheeks and red lips, no rubs. Her body is in excellent condition with arms that will hold a pose and walker works. Wendy is wearing a tagged Alex-kins cotton outfit, pink button down the back dress, kins slip, undies, rayon socks and kins shoes. Tagged Matinee coat comes with correct felt flower hat. Outfit is in excellent clean condition, tiny bit of fraying around the 1st button hole but all set to display. Box has discolored but in good condition with good label. This Sleeping Beauty was produced in 1959 with a brand new face sculpt and an Elise body. Her crisply tagged heavy slipper satin gown is trimmed in gold & closes at the back with three square snaps. There are a couple of small scuffs near the bottom hem which are of no consequence, as you can see by the photos. This gorgeous gown has no rips, holes or tears. Her lovely gold lace cape drapes her shoulders & falls beautifully over the gown, closing at the front with a gold bow. This cape is perfect, with no rips, holes or tears. Underneath Sleeping Beauty wears her original taffeta panties, original ruffled full length slip & original hosiery each of the stockings has a whole at the toe. She also wears her original golden spiked heels, original rhinestone necklace & a sparkling “diamond” on her finger. Sleeping Beauty’s original crown is flawless, with clear bright stones & shiny gold trim. Beauty’s features & coloring are simply gorgeous! She has a peaches & cream complexion & she is COMPLETELY ORIGINAL, with no paint touch-ups whatsoever. Her long golden wig falls in curls at her shoulders, and her crystal clear baby blue eyes have full, original lashes. Vintage Madame Alexander Large 20 Cissy #2084 In original box. What an unbelievable find! Stored in an attic for over 50 years, likely never handled or displayed. A vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander CISSY, #2084 in the original box. She is near to mint! The only problems she might have are a result of extended time in storage and we will try to outline those now. The clothes, back of the hair and such are flatted from such a long time in the same position and need to be worked with. What you see in the pictures is exactly how she came out of the box for the first time to be photographed. The other thing is the baby breath or posies on her hat are flaking off and the cord on her hat has broke. We removed the pins from her had so you will have to reaffix the hat. The box label is checked in both the blonde and redhead square with blonde being bolder, but she looks like a redhead to us! The only other thing to note is there appears to be a little glue spot on her forehead. We examined this closely and it appears that it was from the manufacturing of the doll and probably a little over spill or drip from the hair line. We honestly have no other explanation since she is mint in every other way. Original tag, clean and crisp. Very very light dust perhaps, almost unnoticeable. You might spend a little time “Freshening” her up, but lets face it, you can’t get new unless you have a time machine and this is as close to new as you can get. The box is the downside, dusty, stained and faded with a broken corner or two on the lid, but it did its job as it protected Cissy from the attic environment. This item MUST and WILL be liquidated.
