1956 Cissy in tagged Black Mermaid Torso Gown. She is in beautiful but NOT mint condition. She did get a little refreshing at the spa and has been restrung. Her gown will need a little attention. Although it is free from any damage, I did find a couple of marks on the underskirt and the velvet will need to be brushed. Her original shoes are with her, but the elastic is stretched and they will need to be repairs. No splits or cracks, free from any odors or smoke. Please contact me if you have any questions. First let me say, Cissy resents being called “Basic” anything, as she is far from being a basic girl! This Cissy came to me with only a bit of her original outfit, that being the rose colored ribbon in her hair. She has a new reproduction of her original black chemise. I have paid attention to the most minute details of her original chemise. Ombre ribbon flowers and Tiffany set diamonds. Black satin ribbon for the trim and the straps, and three black square snaps enclose the back. Her shoes are the original issue with the black chemise. These mules have had the black lace replaced on one shoe. Heel elastic is stretched, so a small tie was done in the back. She is wearing new nylons. Cissy herself has taken a little trip to the spa. She has had new air brushed blush applied and a protective matte finish given her lovely face. Her piercing blue eyes have been reset. Original eyelashes have a very slight “hick up” in the right eye, not noticeable when her eyes are open. Cissy is clean and has no chews, odors, stains or splits. She has had 2 split repairs, one on the top of her left leg inside the socket and one at the outside of her knee on the same leg. Her wig is in its original set and has no cuts or alterations done to it. As I stated, she has her original rose colored ribbon tie at the back. She is restrung to the head and arms. The arms are nice and have no rips to the vinyl. I do not photoshop or alter my pictures in any way. PICTURES ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. I deal with vintage dolls and items. If I hadnt gotten laid off, this doll would not be up for sale… But life goes on. This is a gorgeous redhead Cissy , dressed in the HTF 1956 Black Torso Mermaid evening gown is in very nice condition but NOT mint in my opinion. Her hair is in all original form, blue eyes are turning a little green, full eye lashes, eyes close freely, no smells, smoke or odors She had good color on her paint, cheeks are bare, lips and body color is good.. No splits on the legs or crotch. Dress still has all the original rosettes on the outside and under layer of the dress. Original panties and fitted slip to the knee with flounce tulle to the feet. HTF ORIGINAL shoes, however, elastic is completely stretched out and there are some moth holes in the pink of the shoes. You should be able to see this clearly. Dress is in great shape, but upon examination, I did notice a few areas on the underside that should be refreshed and cleaned. There are some rub marks around her neck, I ran out of space for pics but can send if you want to see them. Clearly, in her 63 years of life, she has been admired from afar and not in played with condition. Stunning 21 Tall Madame Alexander Bridegroom in Black Tux HP Hard Plastic. Hair is in great shape bright. Sleep eyes work well. Make-up and face are great with no issues. Tagged outfit is in very good shape. There are some light white spots on the back of his tux and pants but I think it can be cleaned. Includes socks, shoes and hat (all original). This is a Madame Alexander Cissy dress from 1956 #2043. Madame Alexander Made 3 variations of the torso gown. Comes with her black tulle slip with attached panties. Her tag is present but faded. She likely had more flowers at shoulders and in the gown. She has a few pin holes in the tulle and flounce but they don’t really show. There is some fading near the hem. The dress shows beautifully. There are no rips. Hard to Find Dress. My dolls are all around 50-80 years old. I consider them TLC and some are in better condition than others.
