Madame Alexander Dolls

Up for your consideration is this extraordinary Cissy doll from 1958. She is affectionately called The Lady in Red She is absolutely stunning and has a bright beautiful color to her face however, she is not for the mint collector. She has gorgeous blue green eyes with all of her lashes. No cracks of any kind! I love her anyway as she just melted my heart. These dolls are so hard to come by and I hate to part with her but I have to downsize my collection! Her hair was also a mess and I believe that it has been restored beautifully! Her curls are held in place with Bobby pins as her wig was in fragile condition before her restoration. The red velvet bow had just disintegrated into her hair so she has a simple red bow in her hair now. She comes with replaced Swarovski pearl earrings and necklace. She Has a huge white slip under her gown which is had some red from her dress fade onto it making it look pink. The slip has stretched elastic as do her panties. Her nylons have A couple small blemishes on them and shes wearing replaced vintage silver shoes. I have never tried to do anything with the dress I believe it will clean up beautifully however, I will leave that up to the new owner. There are also a couple of other spots on the ballgown. She is so very gorgeous and is always the centerpiece of any collection! She will always put a smile on your face! She is extremely well adjusted and a very uplifting doll. She displays amazingly during the holidays and Valentines Day its almost like she glows! Please look at all the pictures as they are part of the description. This is a 1959 Blue Mandarin Jacket and Ribbon Skirt Set for the vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. The skirt is made from thick satin with ribbons of color and woven gold threads. The jacket is blue and is lined in organdy and features a unique mandarin collar. The jacket is trimmed at the wrists and center front bodice with embroidered ribbon. The jacket color is bright blue and the ribbon skirt appears to be slightly faded in front but brighter in back. The skirt has a couple of small stain spots that I tried to show in the photos. They are small and hard to see unless you know where to look. These things are reflected in the listing price. The skirt is tagged Cissy in center back seam. For your consideration a Vintage 1955 #471 Rare And Hard To Find. Wendy is a Hard Plastic doll. S traight L eg W alker. She wears a white tagged taffeta which is crisp as though it has never been laundered. Dress’s skirt is trimmed with 3 rows of red rick rack and white. At the neck of her dress. Her red cape is attached to the red top which can be separated from the dress. On her head she wears a red taffeta bonnet which ties at er neck. There is a pin hole on her skirt. She comes in a Wendy-kins box. The box is decent but rough. Her outfit is tagged with an embroidered tag on back. There are no holes, tears, or stains on clothes. She has outstanding coloring and is a bent knee walker, Her walker works great and is smooth. She poses and holds position. I do not see anything wrong with her. She has her original arm tag. She has a blond single stitch wig and eyes flutter nicely. A very clean handsome looking doll for the collector. Madame Alexander Vintage Cissy With Harder To Find Crimped Blonde Curls. She is very beautiful. Infused doll with pretty blue eyes. No splits or odors. Clean and well strung. Blush has been very lightly professionally enhanced. Her hair does have fly-always and is flattened in back from storage. I believe she is from 1958. Certain of the Cissy fashions require this crimped hair wig, and it is not easy to find. A really pretty one to dress! Doll does have holes for earrings. She is a very hard to find early Cissette in what I consider mint condition. She is costumed in a beautiful red velvet gown with red net trim. She wears a red feather head piece in her hair. She comes with her original gold wrist tag with: Klondike on it. Her costume is tagged: Madame Alexander. This doll is in my estimation in excellent condition as these dolls were made in the late 60′s-early 70′s. She is in unplayed with condition and has been packed away for many years. This lovely doll wears a blue dress. The bodice of the dress is blue velvet and its skirt is sheer nylon. She wears a pink taffeta slip with matching panties. For your consideration a RARE and HARD to FIND Alexander Kin “Sunny Day” or Wendy Dressed for a Sunny Day. Wendy is blonde, Bend Knee Walker. She wears a pink cotton dress with collar an trimmed with fancy white trimming. Covering the skirt of her dress is an cotton floral/print apron lined with pink organdy. She wears green leathery shoes with snaps at the sides and fuzzy bottoms. Her beautiful hair is covered with a matching sun bonnet, strap was detached from one side (pic #9). For your consideration a RARE and Hard to Find. 1955 #487 Lady in Waiting. She wears a satin dress with side panniers of tulle and flowers and a coronet veil. Needless to say, as is the case with these vintage dolls clothing, the elastic that holds the veil is overly stretched as is the elastic at the waist of her organdy half slip/crinoline.
