Gown Is pleated cornflower blue tulle with butterfly treatment at shoulders and gather swag coming from back of Waist. Gown is accented with pale pink cabbage roses with beautiful crystals. Under skirt is dyed cotton Organdy. It has a matching taffeta slip and matching taffeta undies. It has four snaps going up back. It is tagged Madame Alexander Elise. This is considered hard to fine. I did find one tiny hole. There are is a split in the tulle. RARE ELISE Gown CornflowerTulle, RARE CISSY. Rather then split tulle it seems to be in really nice condition with no stains. This very lovely Wendy Ann-face Scarlett OHara Doll was made between 1939 and 1946. She is all original, wearing a beautiful and rare gown and matching bonnet. Her coal black mohair wig is in its original shiny set! All her lashes are intact and she has clear green eyes. There are no holes, stains, or faded areas on the dress or bonnet. She has thigh-high socks and one has a very small hole above the knee. Her black shoes look brand/new, but one is missing a heel. Scarlett has two barely visible creases in her face and one that runs the length of the outside of the right leg. The original paint appears to be undisturbed and has not cracked or crazed. This is my favorite doll and gown made for Cissy by Madame Alexander. She is the one I fell in love with at first sight. 1956 Brunette Up-do with tie backs, re-blushed and gently sealed. Original lashes, brows and lips. Very sturdy doll with a nice solid weight and no cracks or splits. Gown shows no fading and has not been laundered. Even the pink satin lining, bra insert and exposed shoulders show a nice even pink color. Original slip and attached panties with good elastic. NOTE: There are two small tears in the tulle measuring less than 1 inch. NOTE: This doll has pierced ears… Original had flatback rhinestone earrings. I will either include rhinestone drop earrings or glue on flatback rhinestone earrings for you… Just let me know at. No odors, no pets, non-smoking home. This beautiful Cissy Doll Rhinestone Side Drape Pink Gown is a stunning evening gown with rhinestone accents. Reproduced in the likeness of the original, this gown is created in crisp taffeta and fully lined in cotton organdy. The gown features a long form-fitting bodice attached to a full trained skirt topped with a long side draped sash. Cissy looks ready for the red carpet in this rhinestone draped dress. The dress has been created by RubieMae of Forget Me Not Dolls. This gown originally came in many colors in 1956 and is so reminiscent of this golden age of couture fashion. The dress, pictured in The Cissy Files book on page 33, came in many different colors. Although the dress is pictured with the slip underneath the gown, it IS NOT INCLUDED. The hooped half slip adds volume to the gown and is a little longer in the back to accommodate the train on the dress. The off-white taffeta slip has an elastic waist that closes with two square snaps in the back, and a deep crinoline ruffle along the lower edge. This beautiful Cissy wears her tagged, torso gown known as the Black Mermaid #2043, made in1956 by Madame Alexander. The gown is made with a black velvet fitted torso and flared black taffeta covered with tulle at the bottom. It features a pink lining, zipper closure in the back and is adorned with pink roses. She also wears the matching half-slip with attached panties, black heels and rhinestone jewelry. Both the doll and clothing are in extra nice condition with no damage noted. This is Cissy by Madame Alexander, circa 1950′s. She is hard plastic with vinyl arms. She is strung well. She has no odors. Her wig is excellent and in it’s original set. Her face is clean with nice coloring. She has full eyelashes. Her eyes are clear and clean. They open and close but do not close all the way. The only mark on her face is a small one near her right eye (see photo). She has full painted features. She comes with her original diamond earrings. Her body and limbs have nice coloring and are in excellent condition with no breaks, cracks or distracting marks. There is a tear in the vinyl under her right arm where it enters her body (see photo). She comes with her original tagged “Cissy” gown. It is in very nice and clean condition. I have carefully checked the netting at the bottom part of the gown and do not see any holes or tears. There is one flower on the front of her gown. I think the other flowers are missing. She also comes with her original slip and nylons. These are also in very nice condition with no problems. She is missing her shoes. Really a beautiful doll!
