We offer for your consideration a lovely 14 unmarked Maggie doll with incredibly bright and unclouded eyes. Her eyes are highlighted with molded eyelashes, as well as individually painted lashes on the bottom and sides of her eyes. Her face, torso, and limbs are hard plastic with five pieces. She is well strung and poses beautifully. Her body and limbs are exceptionally clean, undamaged, and free of issues, or blemishes. She is a sleep eye doll, and her eyes open and close easily. Her wig appears factory fresh, or close to it, with thick hair pulled back into two lovely braids with her blue ribbons at the ends. Her coloring is a matte suntanned appearance with lightly blushed cheeks. —She is a beauty from the original owner’s showcase. This doll was kept in the family of a vast doll collection from the 1930s through the 1970s. Her hair is full with no thinning areas. Her face, body, and limbs are close to flawless. She shows the most minor rub of color from her arm and shoulder joint area. I see the slight little fleck of color off from the bottom edge of her lip. — —-Please look at the photos for further visual image of her condition. Her tagged Madame Alexander dress is exceptionally clean, fresh, and bright; however, let me know if I can send a magnified photo of the inch above the bottom hem. You can clearly see the needle holes along the bottom of the dress. It may have originally been trimmed with lace or rick rack. It hows no obvious stains, issues, or odors. It is fresh, crisp, and the color stayed true to the original beauty. It is complete with three well attached square snap buttons. Her very bright white panties are just as lovely as the day they were made with a blue trim and still stretchy waist. She shows the most minor paint rub, loss, in her hidden shoulder and leg joints where they connnect to her torso. She is free of splits or cracks. For your consideration a lovely, very well cared for Madame Alexander Little Lady, She comes in her original window box, which is in very good condition as you can see by the pictures. It also contains its original colognes which with the passing of time have evaporated. The doll as well as the box are clean, free from dust or foreign substances. There is a small pinkish rubbing on the shadow box above her left side of her head. It may have been cause by a discoloration of her head ribbon. Her eyes, at times, are slow to open. This is a MADAME ALEXANDER ” Annabelle” using the Maggie face. She is from 1953 and is 17 inches tall. Her blonde hair is in its original set with the original ribbon. Her dress and sweater are in wonderful condition. No holes or stains to report. Shoes and socks are great and original too. Her stringing is good. Her face has lovely even coloring with some cheek coloring and the dolls eyes are wonderful with thick lashes which are all present (see photo). I think Madame Alexander created some of her best designs in the 1950′s. What a GORGEOUS doll! Produced in 1948 & 1949, this beautiful & rare 15 Rosamund variation is rare. I’ve had her in my personal collection for many years, and I was lucky enough to acquire her from the original owner, well protected in her original box! Her lovely tagged costume is in outstanding condition, with only a few tiny breaks in the tulle skirt of the gown. I don’t think I could locate them again if I tried! The pale pink satin bodice is trimmed in ruffled pink tulle, which matches both the gathered straps and the full skirt. There are two layers of tulle in the skirt, the outermost & longest trimmed in pink satin ribbon and decorated with three scattered light pink cabbage roses. The innermost skirt layer is a very lightweight light pink taffeta. Her panties match the underskirt, and close at the back with one square snap. The gown also closes as the back with two square snaps. The original rose & velvet forget-me-not bouquet at the waist is complimented with light blue ribbon, a tiny velvet forget-me-not attached to the bottom of each streamer. Maggie’s headpiece, in perfect condition, is composed of stiff green woven straw. Rosebud trim is fastened. Across the middle, and light pink roses and green leaves decorate each side. She wears her original hosiery & satin center-snap shoes. This is an exquisite doll, with flawless features and all original coloring. Her blonde wig hangs in pretty curls dusting her shoulders, and she has clear blue eyes with full lashes. Maggie has no splits, cracks or odors. Here’s a charming vintage doll from the Madame Alexander Glamour Girl Series. She’s a walker doll and has the adorable Maggie face. She’s in very good condition and comes wearing her original tagged blue flowery print cotton dress with matching bonnet, hooped slip with attached panties, white lace gloves, hose, shoes and a beautiful additional vintage petticoat. She also comes carrying her MA black hatbox which is in excellent condition with the authentic Madame Alexander Fashion Academy medallion attached. Inside the box are the tiny original pink comb and hair curlers. The wire in her hoop skirt is somewhat bent. Her lace bonnet has 2 of the original 5 rosebuds. They show some wear. Her dress is in very nice condition with perhaps some slight fading. Also, the elastic in the sleeves has relaxed. One of her shoes has a strap that’s worn but the snap still works and the shoe stays on fine. This doll has a darling face with lightly blushed cheeks, red lips and eyeshadow. Her blue eyes open and close and all of her thick dark lashes are intact. Her gorgeous auburn wig is in its original style. Her walker mechanism works well and she holds poses perfectly.
