Welcome to my auctions! She is 20 tall, made of hard plastic with soft vinyl jointed arms. She is wearing a fantastic heavy polished cotton reproduction of the “bird dress”. The fabric is white background with lots of green vines, flowers and birds. Dress has a dropped waistline, with ribbon sash, and large puffed sleeves. Under the dress is a white taffeta half slip with white stiff net ruffle and matching undies. Original Cissy nylons, original green Cissy shoes, and matching straw hat and handbag. Both are decorated with lovely flowers that go with the dress perfectly. Her only jewelry is her rhinestone bracelet and tiny rhinestones on each ear. Cissy has been to the spa and looks refreshed and beautiful, as all we women do when get a little pampered. Lovely matte finish, blush, smoky eye shadow, brows, full lashes and red mouth. Wendy is dressed in the cutest raincoat and hat named Wendy Ready for Any Weather (#572). She is a bend knee hard-plastic walker doll from 1956. This Alexander-kins is just delightful in her tagged yellow rose printed dress with matching panty. The raincoat lining is the same material as the dress. She is wearing brown boots with fuzzy bottoms. The doll is in excellent, all original condition. She is sure to please! This is a darling doll! For your consideration a lovely, very well cared for Madame Alexander Little Lady, She comes in her original window box, which is in very good condition as you can see by the pictures. It also contains its original colognes which with the passing of time have evaporated. The doll as well as the box are clean, free from dust or foreign substances. There is a small pinkish rubbing on the shadow box above her left side of her head. It may have been cause by a discoloration of her head ribbon. Her eyes, at times, are slow to open. This is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Cissy has the prettiest red hair in a tight bobbed hairstyle and pretty blue to blue/green eyes. She has no seam splits. In wonderful condition with original paint and blush. Just a tiny cluster of spots/dots on front torso, a small separation of the eyelashes on her right eye, and some roughness along the edges of the eyelids as you can see in the photos but you must be looking for them since they are all very hard to see. Description Offered in this listing is a beautiful 8 Madame Alexander Wendy Kins straight leg walker doll. She was my Mom’s doll and I can guarantee she was never played with. I recall my Mom saying her legs came off rather early (Mom had them put back on a few years ago) so she never played with her. Lucky for the doll because look at her gorgeous, high color face and perfect hair! She is from 1955 or 1956. She is completely original and dressed in a rare, hard to find fashion #488 “Wendy Ready for the Garden Party”. She is wearing her original lace bra and matching satin & lace undies that are near mint as are her original pink side snap shoes and white stockings. She has the dress, slip, pantaloons, and bonnet with silk flowers. The organza dress is very nice. It does have a moth hole in the front of the dress. The bodice also has wear/snags. They aren’t too bad and the dress still displays beautifully. The half slip is excellent, but the waist is stretched out and needs a pin. The pantaloons are perfect with very good elasticity. Her sleep eyes open and shut perfectly and the walk function works perfectly. All of my items are stored in a smoke and pet free environment. You are either happy with the item, or you are not. This is one of the prettiest Cissys we’ve ever been able to offer. She is all original, with no touch-ups, and tight original stringing. Her facial color is vibrant and lovely. She has beautiful blue eyes with all her eyelashes and no scratches on the eyelids. Her wig is tight to the head. And is a beautiful shade of dark blonde. The color is most accurately shown in the pictures showing the sides of her head. The hairdo is all original and just beautiful. This hairdo was used quite a lot and will go with everything from a street dress to a formal. There are no cracks, splits, or stains on her body.
