Vintage Madame Alexander 14in Sonja Henie Doll Olympic Skater Composition Original Dress. Original antique Sonja Henie Olympic ice skater doll, made by Madame Alexander, circa 1935. Stands approximately 14 tall with a composition head & jointed body. Will need to be restrung as the stringing loose. Her face and body overall has crazing from age. Full lashes, eyes are a little blurry. Dress is marked and doll has her original hand tag. I cannot tell if her head is marked due to the way the wig is glued low by the edge of her head. Outfit appears clean but feathers seem to easily fall off easily as they are very soft from age. Overall the doll is very delicate and needs to be handled with care. You Cant find em like this anymore. This is Madame Alexanders Maggie , she’s a 1948 Madame Alexander doll. She is breathtaking, She’s wearing her original rare oil cloth skates that are in excellent condition. She’s also wearing her original tagged outfit , a blue skater skirt and and white blouse. She comes with her original nylons and underwear both in excellent condition. Her outfit has no stains or rips. Maggie stands on her own and holds a pose. Her eyes open and close as they should with full thick lashes. Her arms, legs, and neck are strung tight as they should be. Maggie has bright blue eyes and pretty red lips with blushing cheeks. She has no cracks , odors or splits. Her hair is original and in Its original style, tied back and In a pony tail and has lots of curls. 1950 Madame Alexander 21 inch Margaret Face Babs Barbra Ann Scott Skater Doll. She is marked Alexander on the back of her head under wig. She also has original hang tag. She is in near mint condition. She has the gorgeous Margaret face with a blonde wig, blue glass eyes with full upper , a closed mouth, and blushing cheeks. Her facial coloring is excellent! She is jointed at neck, shoulder, and hip. The stringing is slightly loose… But she can still hold a pose. There are no cracks or split seams and all of her fingers and toes are intact. She wears her original tagged babs skating pink satin dress which has flowers at the waist, gold braided trim at neckline and fur trim at arm holes and hem. She also has her matching fur trimmed hat with flowers. A one piece pink nylon petticoat and gold ice skates. The outfit is in near mint condition….. The only flawsI see is the gold foil is peeling on parts of her ice skates and slight aging of her dress color. The dress is not stained or faded just normal aging! Please see all pictures! She also has her original pink satin shoes. We are the original owners… And bought the doll new. It was only displayed for a short time and has remained packed in an inside closet…. 0ur home is smoke free and clean!
