This is a fabulous strung 1953 first year Madame Alexander-kins Doll. She is in beautiful never played with condition with original triple stitched blonde wig in original set, perfect face coloring with brown brows, blue eyes that open and close freely, black under lashes, pink cheeks with no scuffs and bright red lips. Her body is in excellent tightly strung condition. Alex is wearing her tagged Alex outfit called’Little Southern Girl’ in excellent clean condition. 1953 Alex-kins comes with hang tag and box which is in fair condition. NOTE: I’ve had some questions on her so I removed her jacket. The jacket does have the Madame Alexander Label on it. She is marked mme alexander on the back of her neck. There is one half or part of the snap at the top of the neck on the white part of the dress that is missing(so one part is there one is gone). There is a very very tiny dot/hole in the white part of the dress near the shoulder(I just actually picked it up but it is tiny), the lower part of the dress the blue has a white under part that has a seam in the back a few seam threads have come lose and a few tacks or stitches would correct that nothing big, but there. I don’t see any holes in the uniform. I changed the last picture and put up another of a possible flaw in the mold or a repair. Its on her back right side just down from the top of the shoulder. Here is a Vintage Composition Madame Alexander 1942 Military WAVE Officer Doll all Original with original box. She is 14 tall, and is wearing all of her original clothes, and with her original box. I will detail below most of what I can and think of. I have other pictures that I took but could not fit if you need to see them let me know. She is a very pretty doll, and has really nice color. There is a tiny crack in the composition near her right eye(picture #4), there is a small pin head size dot on the tip of her right thumb that the composition color is missing. She has some crazing on her right leg(picture #8)Her uniform for the most part is good and clean. Her socks are missing. Her undergarment does have a a spot on it(picture #9), and the white on her hat has some fade and some minor dust accumulation marks. I don’t find any rips in the material. Her hair is all there but you can see needs a little fixing. One barrette is original, and one is a small pin. I have never removed her jacket but I do believe everything under the jacket is good. Eyes work well open and close, all lashes are there. Nice color to her face and body, string is good too. As you can see her box is torn and worn, but you can see it still has the Madame Alexander label in the front. I tried get as much as I could for a description as I know how some buyers what lots of details. She is from a smoke free homes. I don’t add any cost for packaging material. Her body is in excellent condition with arms that will hold a pose and walker works. Unbelievably rare and impossible to find Vintage Scarlett OHara Composition, Madame Alexander Doll, circa 1937. This unique doll is sure to delight every Gone With The Wind fan and Madame Alexander collector! Based on the Wendy Ann doll, she stands 20 tall with her tight, human hair curls in great shape on her beautiful head. The bonnet atop her head is in perfect shape, with a beautiful green, satin ribbon. Her face is suntan with rosy cheeks, her eyes a gorgeous hazel/green, and her lips a rosy red. Her dress is the softest cotton with green polka dots and green satin ribbon detail. Her pantaloons even have green ribbon detail. Her little leatherette shoes are in perfect condition. This Scarlett is special as she is TAGGED in the back on her dress AND she still has her ORIGINAL TAG on her wrist AND her ORIGINAL BOX!! She is a treasure and a wonderful addition to any collectors shelf. Time has gotten to her face, as her eyes show some wear, and she has a few cracks on her face. Her head is slightly loose, but is easily positioned. She is, after all, over 80 years old. I, personally, have an extensive Madame Alexander collection and every time I see this box my heart leaps because I know just how special she is. This is an extraordinary Madame Alexander Cissy from the 1950s. She is wearing a bright crisp Tagged & Rare Cissy Dress, crisp pink slip with full elastic and ric rac trim, straw hat with pink velvet florals, matching straw purse, gloves, sunglasses, cabbage rose shoes in handmade box, pink and green shoes she is wearing, nylons, and a matching tagged velvet coat, which includes a repair. Her jewelry consists of earrings, 2 bracelets, 2 rings. Cissy has full lashes, original blush, and a thick preferred dark brown wig. I could not find any flaws with her. Doll with auburn hair, wearing 852 Bridesmaid complete outfit dress, slip, panties, stockings, earrings, necklace, bracelet, shoes, & hat. Found in original box with cardboard insert. Has been re-strung – sleep eyes work as they should. Gorgeous coloring without rubs, and auburn hair in original style. Her ring finger on left hand is broken off, but included for repair see 9th pic. Her pearl necklace had a break, so the ends are tied together with thread to secure (see 8th pic), one earring is darker I have not tried to clean. Elastic on silver shoes is stretched, so looped an additional time on her ankle so they would stay on for display. Her pink taffeta slip has some light speckly age spotting. O problems that I can see with any of the outfit. Box has some typical fading and lid has two repaired corners. Found at a recent estate and appears she was kept in her box over the years.
