This could be your lucky year! Say hello to the most gorgeous Maggie on the planet of course that’s just MY opinion – she is my most favorite Maggie EVER! This 18 beauty is wearing her original dress, a beautiful off-white front-pleated shirt-waist with three burgandy studs down the front placket, & two at the cuff of each puffed sleeve. One stud is missing on the back of the right sleeve. Maggie’s pretty belt is replaced with the same color as the original. Dress closure is at the back with three square snaps. This dress has some very, very slight age darkening, but as you can see by the photos it’s close to invisible. There are no rips, holes or tears and the dress is crisply tagged Maggie. Underneath Maggie wears nylon panties, and on her feet are her original socks & shoes. There is a hole in the heel of the right sock – completely inside her shoe. Maggie has an exquisite face… Her features & coloring are beautiful; her blush has been refreshed. She has a very rare colored wig – brunette with a splash of burgandy… Which of course matches her dress accessories! This lovely brunette Cissy is from a private collection. She is dressed in an original tagged and flowered garden party dress. It features rhinestone details and a pleated, lace-trimmed bodice. She has a purple velvet sash with a rhinestone decoration, and teardrop earrings. This Madame Alexander comes with a white taffeta crinoline and lace-trimmed panties. The purple straw hat is decorated with flowers and long lavender tulle tie straps. She has excellent face color; her lashes are intact and the blue eyes open and close. Her rich brunette hair is in the original style with spanner bar. She has no cracks, and the jointed legs and arms still bend. There is a slight mark on her right forearm. The left side of her dress has two small discolorations (see pictures), there is a small tear in her crinoline, and the elastic on her flowered high-heeled sandals is stretched. All clothing and accessories are original. This doll has been gently played with, but is in very good to excellent vintage condition. She comes from a non-smoking environment. Beautiful Strung Alexanderkins in perfect condition. Her so very RARE outfit is complete down to the little basket of flowers. To her wrist with original. And her so hard to find dark blue top stitch shoes. Dress, pinafore, panties, hat, shoes and socks all excellent. It does have the label. She is a strung yes no genius doll. For your consideration; A beautiful Auburn hair Cissy doll from 1958…. This pretty Cissy retains her original blush and she has clear blue eyes. All eyelashes are present. She has pierced ears and would look pretty with rhinestone studs added. I have placed a vintage red ribbon in her hair. She has no cracks, splits or odors. Her head is a bit loose, although she still poses easily. Her hair retains her original spanner. She has no odors and is from a smoke free, pet free home. This rare version of Cissy is called Black Matinee. She is part of a private collection. All clothing is original, and the dress is tagged. Her outfit is in excellent condition, and includes a lined black velvet sheath dress with a rhinestone watch pin, a pink lace slip and pink panties. She has seamed nylons and black strappy heels. Her accessories include rhinestone earrings and a faux pearl necklace and bracelet, all of which came with the doll. The pearl in her ring is not original, and the necklace and bracelet show their age. She is wearing light blue fingerless gloves and a matching blue straw hat decorated with tulle and pink flowers. Her eyes, which open and close, are blue, and the lashes are intact. The blonde hair is in its original style with a spanner bar. Her face color is excellent, and her arms and legs are jointed and move as they should. This doll was gently played with. The head is very slightly loose, but stays in position. See pictures to view tiny smudges on her left cheek and temple, and a small crack on her left leg above the knee. There are tiny holes in her stockings near the toes and, as with any doll this age, the elastic on her shoes is loose. This is a fabulous strung 1953 first year Madame Alexander-kins Doll. She is MIB condition with original triple stitched auburn wig in original set, excellent high face coloring with brown brows, light blue eyes that open and close freely, black under lashes, bright rosy pink cheeks and bright red lips. Her body is in excellent tightly strung condition. Alex is wearing her tagged organdy dress, matching undies and slip, blue top stitched side snap fuzzy bottom shoes with white rayon socks. This Madame Alexander Alice in Wonderland doll is in very good to excellent condition – she even has her original book shaped red wrist tag! “Curiouser and curiouser” cried Alice Now they’ve made me into a doll! ” This doll has the slender “Wendy Ann face with heart shape mouth and smoky eyeshadow. Her composition is in very good condition with only the lightest (and practically undetectable) crazing in the composition. Her eyes have crystallized a bit, they close well, and have full brush eyelashes. Dish water blond hair is full and in good condition. The all original tagged outfit is nice and crisp, and includes undergarments, shoes and socks. The collar on her dress has yellowed a bit, and the trim on her sleeves is starting to turn. Just Exactly How Cute Can One Maggie Get? Pretty cute, according to THIS little gal. She’s wearing her tagged 2 piece cotton floral skirt & white organdy blouse. Rhinestones are sprinkled on the waistband & front of the snap-closure skirt, and the tagged blouse has lace-trimmed puffed sleeves & closes at the back with two buttons. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no holes, rips or tears. This near mint ensemble has velvet trim to match her tam, buttons at the front and appears to have never been on a doll until these pictures were taken. Underneath Maggie wears cotton panties with lace trim, and on her feet are her original socks & center snap black shoes. Maggie is beautiful, with lovely features & coloring. Lady Windermere or Miss Renoir was marketed in 1938 by Madame Alexander as one of the desired Lady of Fashion Portrait dolls. She has deep crazing and I believe her dress has been reworked and the ribbon replaced. She has some kind of flaw/damage behind her ear (see pictures). Maybe touch up paint on her crazing? She has her original curled mohair wig with flower hat. She comes in shoes and undergarments, with a ruffled lace underskirt, pantaloons and stockings.
