Delicate, gold, metallic ric-rac embellishes her looped neckline, double rows of butterfly sleeves, and skirt (where it rises and falls into peaks and valleys). Original, elegant, black velvet choker at the neck and hand ties. Three, square snap closure in rear. Her flared skirt has 3 layers of net tulle! Her waistline is accented with a cabbage rose and spring flowers corsage! Underneath her dress, her crisp net tulle has some tiny holes here and there Im sure. Underneath her dress, her 3 layers of net tulle kind of sticks together and I dont want to pull the layers apart, as shes 71 years old. This doll is in un-handled condition, which is why she is still in mint condition. Gently lifting her net tulle from underneath, I see no major rips or tears, or anything remotely like that. Shiny, pink taffeta bloomers embellished with scalloped, Belgium Val Lace! Super shiny, red, mohair wig with braiding across the crown of her head and coiling at the sides! Her silk ballerina shoes are excellent. Vibrant feathered eyebrows, and lower painted lashes! Thick, upper sable lashes! Vibrant matte, cheek color and dark, Smokey eyes shadow! Also, beautiful palm and knee color. Composition is awesome due to the southern CA dry climate! I dont see any crazing which is very unusual. Please forgive light reflections showing as white spots. For your consideration, a very nice and clean 16 fully jointed Elise. She wears a pink, and white taffeta dress with white collar and puffy sleeves made of white nylon and adorned with rows of lace. Her body is free from smells and scrapes. Her clothing is clean and green from rips, discolorations and tears. This is a 1962 Madame Alexander 9 1/2 inch Jacqueline Jackie Cissette Doll #894 in her blue wool two -piece suit and pill box hat (in the style of Jacqueline Kennedy’s classic wardrobe) and in a Jacqueline MA box. Jacqueline is a hard plastic doll jointed at the shoulders, hips, and knees. Her facial painting is to die for with multi-stroke brows, baby blue eye shadow and eyelids, hand painted sweeping eyeliner, high cheek color, and geranium pink lips. Her nails are perfectly painted with a ring on her finger. Her brunette wig is in the perfect original set. She is wearing rhinestone earrings and ring on her left hand, blue wool two piece suit lined in taffeta (now a lavender color which was once blue), shell pink nylon jersey blouse with 3/4 length sleeves is (tagged Madame Alexander in the back under the jacket), white lace trimmed taffeta panties, seamed hose and black sling back heels. The matching pillbox hat has three red rhinestones. The box is in good condition with some wear from storage. And shoes are slightly stretched. Her blue wool skirt has some small holes in the back which do not show when being displayed. She is missing a button from the front of her jacket. Madame Alexander CISSY with Gorgeous Summer Dress circa 1956. Welcome to my listing! Here is honey blond Cissy in a lovely tagged drop waist dress. Cissy’s hair is in it’s original style and is neat and shiny with just a few little flyaways. I believe the ribbons are replacements, but she had them when I bought her many years ago and I have not taken them out or changed them. Her body and face are nearly perfect, with lovely blush, no cracks or splits, and nice eyelashes. She has the hang tag that was with her when I received her, I believe it is original. Dress has no holes or rips and has its tiny “rhinestone” pin on the center front. Cissy’s cancan slip has stretched elastic and does have some small holes, I have shown the largest of them in one of the pictures. My Cissy also wears her thigh high stockings and her black shoes. I have displayed Cissy, but she has now been in a box for quite a while in my doll room. She is a truly lovely doll, although not perfect or mint, you will have a hard time finding a nicer Cissy! This listing is for the dress, slip, and panties only. Other items shown (including doll) are not a part of the listing. The hat is available in a separate listing. The dress was custom made by an excellent seamstress for the Madame Alexander Cissy doll out of a lovely vintage yellow organdy fabric and was patterned after Cissy’s tagged purple and pink organdy dresses except for a slight departure at the neckline and collar. A purple satin ribbon is inset at the waistline and pinched down on one side to show off a pretty vintage flower corsage. Three tiny pearl buttons decorate the bodice. Fabric is doubled in the bodice, and the dress closes with three small square snaps in the back. The skirt is ultra full and has a deep hem, as you can see. The organdy fabric had never been used and has great body. The pictures show the organdy a little paler than it is, but it is still a light yellow. Accompanying the dress is a slip and panty set in light yellow cotton, which, I believe, is factory made, but not sure. It is sized perfectly for Cissy. The slip is made with a waistband that has one small square snap and is just right for Cissy’s waist. It has one tuck that encircles it, and lace trim at the bottom. Attached underneath is a netting slip, trimmed in some type of white ribbon. The panties are lace trimmed and have an elasticized waist with good elastic. These underthings appear to be vintage items. The netting used (with the smaller holes) would date back to the 50s or 60s. Both of these items are in very good condition, with no flaws that I see. The dress is in perfect condition, just as it was made. It has not been displayed, but has occupied a spot in Cissy’s closet for quite a while. It needs to be showcased.
