Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part honey blonde wig. Tagged coral taffeta dress. Vintage faux fur stole. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part honey blonde wig in curls with bangs, the hair looks more reddish in the photos but I would call it honey or. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and closes with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears with rhinestone drop earrings. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing an original 1950′s tagged long coral taffeta formal gown, it has prong set rhinestone accents at the neck and side. The dress is lined and has a net, lace trimmed, petticoat attached at the waist seam, overall excellent vintage condition, shows some age. Cissy has a vintage white faux fur stole, the sole is not tagged but looks factory made, it is lined and wired on the edges so it stays in place and holds it’s shape, it has a shadow of pale blue on the lining. Her panties are white with lace trim and coral bows, she has white plastic molded high heel shoes, one shoes has the loop broken at the ankle strap but still shows nicely. Cissy is all set for a formal event and she is fabulous! The listing is for the doll and clothes shown only, no stand. The written description is based on my opinion and observation of the item. BELLE WATLING #61600 WAS PRODUCED FOR JUST ONE YEAR ONLY AND SHE IS A VERY RARE DOLL FROM THE GONE WITH THE WIND SERIES OF DOLLS! She is absolutely breathtaking wearing a fuchsia pink satin gown with a gray taffeta jacket on top that is stunning with elaborate pink rose embroidery and delicate pale pink ruffles down her bodice and around her bell sleeves to match her skirt. Her underskirt is accented with pink tulle and black lace and she also wears taffeta pantaloons also trimmed in black lace. Under her pink tulle scarf pretty pink roses decorate her beautiful auburn hair styled in a fancy updo with ringlet curled bangs. Here’s a gorgeous and not often seen Madame Alexander Cissy Doll. She’s a 1961 Scarlett O’Hara Cissy from the Madame Alexander Portrait series. She comes wearing her original powder blue taffeta dress with jacket and matching bonnet. She has all of her original jewelry and accessories which include rhinestone earrings, rhinestone ring, rhinestone cameo necklace, rhinestone pocket watch pin, long black lace fingerless gloves and black velvet purse with sequins. She also comes with original panties and original petticoat/crinoline. Her high heel shoes and stockings are replacements. Her clothes are in very good condition. The only thing I see is a small stain at the top on the back of her panties near the elastic band and 2 tiny spots on the back of her skirt which are hidden in the folds of skirt. Hat and crinoline are in very nice condition. The tag is missing from her dress but it is an original outfit as seen in the last photo taken from the Cissy Files book, page 22. This doll has an enchanting face with beautiful complexion, blushed cheeks, and red lips. Her blue eyes open and close and all of her lashes are intact. Her pretty dark brown wig is in excellent condition and in its original style with upswept sides. She is a no-neck Cissy with the slender non-jointed arms. Her arms are strung perfectly, however, her head and legs are very loosely strung. Her body is in excellent condition except for a tiny crack at the very top of her right thigh which is hidden inside her torso. Her leg must be pulled out to see this. If you would like a picture of it please let me know. Her earrings were somewhat lose, therefore, I applied a little bit of glue to each post in order to secure them. Please note that in the nude picture of the doll there appears to be some darkness on her right leg. These are not marks. They are just shadows caused by the lighting and my camera. Vintage Madame Alexander 18 Scarlett O’Hara Doll, Original Gown & Dress Tag. A very pretty 18 vintage jointed composition Madame Alexander Scarlett O’Hara doll. Original dotted Swiss gown with sewn in hoop petticoat, shirred bodice, black velvet ribbon accents. Sleep eyes, all lashes present. I believe the Lace trimmed bloomers are replaced. Side snap shoes & socks look original. Retains Madame Alexander dress tag “Scarlett O’Hara”. Composition is smooth throughout, some paint wear at joints, knee blush is intact. Gown shows fading, mostly in back, some in front and sleeves – please enlarge photos to see fading, needs minor mending at neckline. Face is very smooth, but pale, could use some blush – hair is in original set with barrettes, dry & could use some conditioning. She holds a pose but is a little loose. Right shoe missing heel. She is clean and has no odors, stains, or chews. She has a gorgeous face and lovely eyes, but she has a few issues. Her wig has been retied up on the sides at one time. The hair on the front of the wig and in the side tie ups is very stiff and cannot be recombed or restyled. I believe this was because she had a break in her wig center seam and someone sprayed it to prevent hair loss. Some separation of the wig at the temples. The top knot and the back of the hair are not sprayed and I have combed it back into curls. She has new blush added. But all other face makeup is original. Her eyes are original and have full lashes. She has nice arms with no rips in the sockets. Body is also very nice with little joint rub. She has had a repair to the bottom of the right leg. Restrung lower leg, as the original metal spring was broken. It is a nice repair, but it is not as tight as the metal spring was. It is floppy however. Small surface hairline opening in the top surface of the inside of that same knee. It does not go through, and in my opinion is very stable. Not a perfect doll by any means, but with a crown or a hat on her wig issues could be concealed, and she poses very nice. She has earring holes. I do not photoshop or alter my pictures in any way. This beautiful Madame Alexander 8 doll is a Wendy Dressed for the Maypole Dance or Wendy Dances Around the Maypole. She is a hard-plastic straight leg walker doll from 1955 and the outfit is numbered 458. Wendy is dressed in a very light blue taffeta dress with a tiny lace trimmed organdy yolk and lace frills sewn under the hemline. A perfect coronet of rosettes on her head gives this outfit a festive flare. Wendy wears a cotton slip and matching pantaloons. Her terrific shoes have fuzzy bottoms. What a lovely doll! This is a gorgeous never played with Madame Alexander-kins hard to find 1962 Gibson Girl Doll. She measures 9 and all original with tagged outfit. She has fabulous face coloring with eyes that open and close easily, bright pink cheeks, no rubs and rhinestone earrings and rhinestone ring dot. Her purple outfit is in excellent condition with blouse, velvet skirt, slip, undies, nylons and black shoes, some elastic stretch to the shoes and few marks on the skirt that might brush out, see photo. Vintage Madame Alexander 20 MIB Bridal Wreath Cissy Doll. Beautiful Cissy, MIB condition. She is pictured in the book The Cissy Files by K. Shaw and is from 1958. No damage, still has all original, shoes, ring, earrings, necklace, hairnet, everything. She has a garter with stretched elastic and her silver shoe elastic is also stretched. Her gown has embroidered floral wreaths around the scalloped bottom edge of the tulle overlay. This doll is a rather hard to find Cissy, and especially hard to find MIB. The box is worn and torn, but still intact. I an send a pic of the box if you would like. She has been stored in her box on a shelf for many years and is looking for a new home.
