THANK YOU FOR VISITING US. 1950′s Vintage Madame Alexander 14 CINDERELLA & PRINCE CHARMING Dolls.. This beautiful pair was recently acquired from the original owner who received the dolls as a gift in the early 1950′s. A rare set of 14 Cinderella and Prince Charming dolls from the early 1950′s. She is dressed in her pale blue satin ball gown with puff sleeves and decorated with silver metallic trim and tiny silver stars. Her dress is lined in white satin and she also has a net trimmed petticoat and lace trimmed panties. She has a gold metallic coronet on her lovely platinum blond hair which is held in place with the original hairnet. She is wearing her original plastic “glass” slippers which fit her perfectly, of course! The handsome Prince is wearing an ivory brocade satin tunic top, ivory bloomers and matching cape with gold metallic trim and satin lining. He has an ivory cap which matches the outfit and is accented with original white feather, white tights and original gold satin snap-on shoes. He has reddish brown curly hair and rosy cheeks. Both dolls are all original with no markings visible and no hangtags. Both their outfits are tagged with labels. There are no cracks on either doll and no odors. They are well strung and heads, arms and legs work and pose well. They have sleep eyes (hers are green, his are blue) with thick brush lashes. The only issues noted on either doll are with her petticoat. The snap at the top is missing and there is slight age discoloration at the hem where the net trim is attached (see photos). Vintage Madame Alexander 20 Blonde Cissy Doll Pink Striped Dress Tagged Outfit. Gorgeous Cissy doll from 1956, dressed in her (tagged) pink shirt waist dress outfit. I believe the outfit is complete and all original. Overall very nice vintage condition! Marked Alexander on the back of her neck. She has sleep eyes that open and close, but do stick closed. Nice curl to her blonde hair. No cracks or splits in her legs or upper thighs. The beginning of a split between her legs, very light, does not go all the way through. A small ring on her finger. A few flaws to the outfit (see last photo): spots on the back of the dress by the tag, a repair to her sleeve cuff, a small hole in the heel area of her hose. The panties have holes as well, the netting on her hat is present, but torn. Also some wear to the velvet on the belt. None of these flaws are very noticeable, she still displays beautifully! These are flaws that I noticed, may be other small things that I missed. We offer for your consideration a lovely 15 unmarked Maggie doll with incredibly bright and unclouded eyes. She is a Rosamund face bridesmaid Maggie walker doll only made for the one year in 1953. She is a hard to find doll, and we have several listed from the same pet and smoke free home. Her eyes are highlighted with complete molded eyelashes, as well as individually painted lashes on the bottom and sides of her eyes. Her face, torso, and limbs are hard plastic with five pieces. She is well strung, and her arms will hold a pose very nicely. Her head holds a pose beautifully and does not droop. Her legs are nicely attached for display, and the walking mechanism works perfectly. She is lovely for display. Her body and limbs are exceptionally clean, undamaged, and free of issues, or blemishes. She is a sleep eye doll, and her eyes open and close easily. Her wig appears close to factory fresh with a stunning and unique color of thick soft curls. Her coloring is an even and light toned appearance with a lightly blushed glow. She is a beauty from the original owner’s showcase. This doll was kept in the family of a vast doll collection from the 1930s through the 1970s. Her hair is full with no thinning areas. She is from a pet and smoke free home and is one of at least half a dozen Rosamund Maggie face dolls from the same collection. Please look at the photos for further visual image of her condition. Her tagged gown is incredible for display; it is hard to believe it is so dated and almost sixty years young. The gown and the style is a classic timelesss piece of art. It is a soft and unfaded pink, which appears flawless until you really scrutinize the three inch area of thinned fabric, and holes, along the bottom top layer in the front. The area was hard to see because of the natural folds in the dress. I found a 1/2 missing piece on the bottom hem. The bottom satin layer has a 3 thin, hole, area on the bottom hem of the fabric. The dress has no obvious stains, issues, or odors. It is unfaded and gorgeous with the original highlights of pink and blue flowers. Her matching hat with flowers on both sides is stunning. The elastic still seems stretchy. Her pantyhose are intact, with stretchy elastic along the top, and beautiful for display. Her pink center snap shoes are intact and lovely. They show minor wear around the edges, and major wear on the toe tips. Her satin panties are pretty with one small hole on the back. The elastic is still stretchy at the legs. Her full and unfaded lips are incredible, just like they were originally, and her face is factory fresh, or close to it. She shows the most minor paint rub, loss, on her neck. It is mostly hidden under the top bodice part of her dress. Her stomach, in the front, shows paint rub, loss, probably from a misplaced doll stand. She is free of splits or cracks. I showed some minor rubs, or lines, on the right bottom part of her chin, which is hard to see when she is normally displayed. I see a little factory flaw line on the back of her right wrist. Gold wool swing coat and hat with off white satin lining – snap closure with button on outside. White woven design jacket shirt with pockets and side vents snap closure with red buttons on outside. With elastic waist and side vents. Pink and white gingham sleeveless night gown snap back closure. Flocked light blue eyelet with pink flowers and lace trim short puff sleeves tie closure at neck. Doll in in good condition, original hair, small split at right thigh where the joint meets the body, some of the eyelashes are gone, green eyes (somewhat cloudy), some discoloration on the plastic body, wardrobe is brand new, very good, please. This is a lovely and loved Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Bride Doll in her original outfit. It belongs to my mother who thinks she received it in the late 1940s. Some research indicates it might be model #1201 which would put it at 1955 (but that would be kind of old for my mother to be playing with dolls). Cissy has “MADAME ALEXANDER” embossed on the nape of her neck. I tried to show the ALEX part as I didn’t want to peel back the hair. She has the “Cissy” tag on the dress, so it was the original dress. She has movable joints. She is 21 inches tall. She has stockings on both her legs and even has her original garter belt. Somewhere along the way she lost her shoes. Her foot shape indicates that she had high heels, so perhaps she tossed them aside before dancing! Note that she has her lovely bracelet. And still has her eyelashes. Cissy’s veil is very long, and the end part is torn in places. However, this does not detract from her radiance. I have tried to show her petticoat and her undergarments. The sleeve details and rhinestones on the dress are intact. Dress is a tad yellowed and could use a nice dry cleaning. Comes from a NO SMOKING household. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Blonde hair, triple stitched part, fancy. Wearing tagged pink negligee/ dress. Stockings, taffeta panties and white high heels. Presented here is a fabulous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has blonde hair with a triple stitched part wig, still in most of the original lovely curls, she has a fancy up-do tied with the original threads on top and curls in the back, it is smooth with a nice sheen. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, nice coloring, pierced ears with pearl earrings. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. The gown is tagged, it is a pink silk negligee with lace trim, pink ribbon streamers. Underneath she wears pink taffeta panties, original seamed nylon stockings and white plastic molded high heels. The clothing is all in excellent vintage condition. The written description is based on my opinion and observation of the item.
