Welcome to my auctions! She is 20 tall with hard plastic body and vinyl jointed arms for posing. She is dressed in a 2 piece outfit of a skirt in lavender blue with box pleats, (lined in pale pink organdy), a cotton striped blouse with attached original flower, pale pink Cissy slip and matching panties, cloche type hat in white with pink velvet bow in back (reproduction by Richards Originals) and chatelaine pocket watch. The watch was turned around when picture was taken. She also wears, mint stock nylons and pale pink Cissy high heels. Skirt is tagged Cissy. She has a lovely face with clear eyes, full lashes, brows, nice cheek color and red mouth. She has had no work done on her face. Her hair is very dark brunette with original curled set, no cuts. The only thing she has had done is 2 cracks on her hips. They are nicely done. From smoke free home. Because of postal problems……. Paradise comes to life in this angelic beauty, spectacular in an elaborate gown spun from sky-blue silk dupioni. Her gown is meticulously adorned with flowers made of fine ribbon; her lace overskirt is embellished with tiny sequins. A crown of lovely blossoms rests in her golden coiffure, and wings of snow-white feathers float behind her to complete the glorious vision. Her original box was discarded, but all contents of the box including pink tissue have been retained with her. Doll does not have a certificate of authenticity. Hang Tag says she is style 10770, Introduced 1998, Retired January 2000. Doll has bendable knees and is hard vinyl plastic, she has a twist and turn waist. Her necklace and wings and floral coiffure piece are in a plastic bag. Under her costume she wears slip, panties, hose and heels. Hair is in her original upsweep. As always, Cissy has fabulous makeup and hairstyle, and she exudes glamor and confidence, truly a beauty! I have taken plenty of photos, please look at my photos to serve as part of this description. This is Cissy by Madame Alexander, circa 1950′s. She is hard plastic with vinyl arms. She is strung well. She has no odors. Her wig is excellent and in it’s original set. Her face is clean with nice coloring. She has full eyelashes. Her eyes are clear and clean. They open and close but do not close all the way. The only mark on her face is a small one near her right eye (see photo). She has full painted features. She comes with her original diamond earrings. Her body and limbs have nice coloring and are in excellent condition with no breaks, cracks or distracting marks. There is a tear in the vinyl under her right arm where it enters her body (see photo). She comes with her original tagged “Cissy” gown. It is in very nice and clean condition. I have carefully checked the netting at the bottom part of the gown and do not see any holes or tears. There is one flower on the front of her gown. I think the other flowers are missing. She also comes with her original slip and nylons. These are also in very nice condition with no problems. She is missing her shoes. Really a beautiful doll! She is 20 tall with a hard plastic body and vinyl sleeved arms. She has Rare brunette hair in a long chignon style with no bangs, still in a hair net. She has Gorgeous blue sleep eyes with full lashes, high color cheeks and red lips. She has blushed hands and knees. She is wearing a tagged gorgeous bridesmaid gown of dotted Swiss tulle over a pink cotton skirt lining and pink satin bodice lining. A square neckline accentuated with Val lace. Beautiful corsage at the waist and tiny violet flowers on the skirt. Hard to Find Fantastic horse hair hat with pink roses and blue violets. Her jewelry includes a faux pearl necklace, rhinestone earrings, ring and bracelet. She also has pink taffeta panties trimmed in lace, seamed stockings and silver strappy sandals. I think the lucite purse is newer, just not sure!! She has 1 small issue: there is some discoloration on her neck probably caused by the necklace. She is a Stunning Early Cissy who will be the Star of any collection. She has no cracks, splits or odors. She needs a new home for the Holidays!! Excellent condition vintage Cissy doll, approx. 20 tall with chemise outfit. Full eyelashes and sleep eyes work well. There are a few stray hairs coming loose from the hair up do (see photos). There are a few minor marks on the body, some light residue on arms. The outfit has some holes in the lace, the shoes are in very good condition. Navy woven hat with silk and velvet flowers, veil. Rhinestone drop earrings and necklace. Fur stole with blue lining. Original seamed nylon stockings. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with jointed vinyl arms. She has red hair with curls that are pined in place and bangs. Blue sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, the ears are pierced. She has rhinestone drop earrings and a matching necklace. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing a beautiful tagged Cissy dress made of navy taffeta with a full circle skirt and matching bolero jacket, there are some age related flaws and a small repair on the back of the skirt but shows very well. The dress has short puff sleeves of net and seam bindings of black grosgrain, edged with black trim. Is a white cotton hoop skirt petticoat and black taffeta panties The shoes strappy black high heels with rhinestone buckles. The hat is woven with a wide brim, it is. With silk and velvet flowers and has a pale blue open weave veil. She carries a lovely faux fur stole with under tones of blue in the fur and a blue satin lining. For your consideration is this amazing Alexander Cissy doll from 1958. She is known as the LADY IN RED and shes wearing a red taffeta ball gown with a tulle wrap dotted with fine glitter. This is a hard to find Doll in this condition. This beautiful girl is ready for the Christmas ball! She really is simply breathtaking! Nowshe does have some imperfections As her gown does have a few spots on it and in one small section there is water stain on her hem. She has had her hair completely restored and it looks glorious! I believe these are her original pearl earrings but she does have replaced pearl necklace and replaced Crystal Snowflake pin. Her slip does have stretched elastic at the waist. Her face is beautiful with very strong eyebrows. Her gown has all of its beautiful square snaps in place. She also has her rhinestone ring and comes with a red Christmas box to hang from her wrist. Her eyes are beautiful blue and she has all of her lashes. Still has no cracks or splits and has gorgeous coloring. Shes ready to put under your Christmas tree! She comes from a smoke free home and has no odors! She is ready to be yours. This doll comes from my personal collection and has always been gently displayed and kept out of sunlight.
