This is a 1959 Blue Mandarin Jacket and Ribbon Skirt Set for the vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. The skirt is made from thick satin with ribbons of color and woven gold threads. The jacket is blue and is lined in organdy and features a unique mandarin collar. The jacket is trimmed at the wrists and center front bodice with embroidered ribbon. The jacket color is bright blue and the ribbon skirt appears to be slightly faded in front but brighter in back. The skirt has a couple of small stain spots that I tried to show in the photos. They are small and hard to see unless you know where to look. These things are reflected in the listing price. The skirt is tagged Cissy in center back seam. I have shown large photos so please look at all of them since they are considered part of the description. I usually respond within a short time. For your consideration a Vintage 1955 #471 Rare And Hard To Find. Wendy is a Hard Plastic doll. S traight L eg W alker. She wears a white tagged taffeta which is crisp as though it has never been laundered. Dress’s skirt is trimmed with 3 rows of red rick rack and white. At the neck of her dress. Her red cape is attached to the red top which can be separated from the dress. On her head she wears a red taffeta bonnet which ties at er neck. There is a pin hole on her skirt. She comes in a Wendy-kins box. The box is decent but rough. Her outfit is tagged with an embroidered tag on back. There are no holes, tears, or stains on clothes. She has outstanding coloring and is a bent knee walker, Her walker works great and is smooth. She poses and holds position. I do not see anything wrong with her. She has her original arm tag. She has a blond single stitch wig and eyes flutter nicely. A very clean handsome looking doll for the collector. Madame Alexander Vintage Cissy With Harder To Find Crimped Blonde Curls. She is very beautiful. Infused doll with pretty blue eyes. No splits or odors. Clean and well strung. Blush has been very lightly professionally enhanced. Her hair does have fly-always and is flattened in back from storage. I believe she is from 1958. Certain of the Cissy fashions require this crimped hair wig, and it is not easy to find. A really pretty one to dress! Doll does have holes for earrings. She is a very hard to find early Cissette in what I consider mint condition. She is costumed in a beautiful red velvet gown with red net trim. She wears a red feather head piece in her hair. This doll is in my estimation in excellent condition as these dolls were made in the late 60′s-early 70′s. She is in unplayed with condition and has been packed away for many years. This lovely doll wears a blue dress. The bodice of the dress is blue velvet and its skirt is sheer nylon. She wears a pink taffeta slip with matching panties.
