Yellow ostrich feather trimmed skating outfit is overall dingy/dusty from age. There are stains on the back of the dress. Attached net underskirt with yellow panties. Bright gold skates have wear with broken/missing blades. The skates have molded to her feet-could not remove without damaging them The compo is discolored under the shoes. This is a gorgeous 14 Madame Alexander Kathy Roller Skater Doll with her original clothes and purse at side. I have had them stored for several years myself but now have moved to a much smaller home and need to reduce my things. 1950 Madame Alexander 21 inch Margaret Face Babs Barbra Ann Scott Skater Doll. She is marked Alexander on the back of her head under wig. She also has original hang tag. She is in near mint condition. She has the gorgeous Margaret face with a blonde wig, blue glass eyes with full upper , a closed mouth, and blushing cheeks. Her facial coloring is excellent! She is jointed at neck, shoulder, and hip. The stringing is slightly loose… But she can still hold a pose. There are no cracks or split seams and all of her fingers and toes are intact. She wears her original tagged babs skating pink satin dress which has flowers at the waist, gold braided trim at neckline and fur trim at arm holes and hem. She also has her matching fur trimmed hat with flowers. A one piece pink nylon petticoat and gold ice skates. The outfit is in near mint condition….. The only flawsI see is the gold foil is peeling on parts of her ice skates and slight aging of her dress color. The dress is not stained or faded just normal aging! Please see all pictures! She also has her original pink satin shoes. We are the original owners… And bought the doll new. It was only displayed for a short time and has remained packed in an inside closet…. 0ur home is smoke free and clean! She wears an original outfit which is in good condition without rips or tears. However, the front of the dress is. She wears a cute feathered red felt cap. Her hair is in beautiful unplayed with condition and her face and body are without flaws, gouges, or paint chips. She wears shoes which could be original. The right skate needs a bit of glue to adhere the blade to the underside front of the skate. Tightly strung and in great shape, this doll would be a nice addition to the mid 20th century collector.
