Madame Alexander Dolls

This is a RARE C1940 Madame Alexander Madelaine du Bain Doll Strung Composition 15 Inch Wendy Ann. Madelaine is a clean strung all composition doll with the Wendy Ann face. Her stringing is tight and she has brown sleep eyes (crazed) with all her fur lashes. There are painted lashes below her eyes and she has dark eye shadow. Her composition has a little bit of crazing. She has her original blond wig with blue hair bow. Her original dress is tagged Madelaine and includes a blue print skirt with pink roses, and sheer pink top. There is brown age staining mostly to the sides of the skirt with some in front. The pink organdy sleeves have a touch of aging. The ruching on the left sleeve has come apart. She is also wearing short pantaloons with an attached lace-trimmed hoop skirt. The shoes and socks are original with bows to the front of the black leatherette side snap shoes (both shoes are missing parts of the sole and heel). Exceptional strung Alexanderkins in complete outfit for a strung doll. I have heard this called =Easter Colors but not sure if that’s official. It is complete with mint blue top stitch shoes matching the flowers in the original basket and on her hat. The elastic on the hat is perfect. She has very long hair in curly pigtails. Beautiful face with just a spec of lip color missing. One stocking is not as tight as the other. I do not have her shoes snapped but that is only because I choose not to stress them But know they snap perfectly with no problem. Her basket of flowers is almost impossible to find. Here is a beautiful vintage 1950′s 8 Madame Alexander Doll. She is marked ALEX on her back. She is in old condition. She is all hard plastic, and all movable with bending knees, and she is strung. She has an opening on one side of her body. (SEE PHOTO) She has a pretty face with blue open close eyes with hard lashes and dark brown hair in a flip curl and bangs(a little messy). She is from my collection. She is a very pretty doll. She is 20 tall and is a strung doll (not a walker). She has a “mohair” wig which is in it’s original set. Her coloring is nice and she has all her lashes – I think she is a beautiful doll and I have enjoyed having her in my collection for many years now. She has her “snood” on her hair in back – she was a ballerina when in her original clothes. So – her dress and shoes are not original – panties are missing. The dress is appropriate, although not original. It fits her well and is in crispy like new condition – it has never been laundered and has no stains or flaws. This is a lovely 1953 strung blonde Alexander-kin from Madame Alexander in her pretty yellow polished cotton school frock with her black pinafore. Her dress is tagged Alexander-kins. I don’t know a lot about her, but I will tell you what I know. Be sure to correct me if I’m wrong about something. This is a 1953 Strung Alexander kins doll. She is in as found condition and I believe she is in her original box bottom. She has light blonde hair w/triple stitch and all original. Her shoes are black side snap w/stitch on top and fuzzy bottoms. She also has on her socks, don’t believe the shoes or socks have ever been taken off. She is wearing white panties w/lace trim w/tight elastic. She is marked Alex on her back and she feels heavy. She has no cracks or splits. She has painted eyelashes under her eyes. She is strung very tight and I believe it is original. Sorry she only comes with the bottom of the box. Pretty good condition–it says #511 Platinum Alexander Kins. I won this doll and I was totally surprised when she arrived. She is in brand new condition. Never been displayed, played with or anything. She came in her Alexanderkins box in perfect condition, as she will come to you. She is a 1953 strung Alexanderkin in a red and white organdy and polished cotton jumper outfit. It is crispy new and clean. She wears rayon socks and clean white fuzzy bottom shoes. Her stringing is perfect, her face is perfect and she has gray blue flutter eyes which are beautiful. Her face is perfectly blushed and she has lovely tosca curls in two ponytails on either side of her face tied with red ribbons to match her dress. This hairstyle was done in 1953, but it was not as common as the flip curls. She is absolutely stunning! Thank you for looking and have a great day.
